Let me say this: I have not one, but TWO life threatening chronic conditions. Both of them can cause nausea and vomiting so bad I've prayed for death on more than one occasion. Other symptoms include: Lack of appetite, pain, diarrhea, more bowel movements in one day than most people have in a month, etc.

I've been smoking herb for the past 30 years, using medically for the past 20, and vaping for the past 5. I vape EVERY day in order to be able to function as a productive person. Like MM, I have a pretty high tolerance. The Pinnacle may not medicate me as quickly as my UD, but it does get me there nicely. I'm sharing this personal information because I'm VERY impressed with this little vape and more medical users need to know that there is a portable that will medicate you well and NOT burn through your weed or your wallet. End of sermon.

I'm sold, Medical Mark is a high tolerance medical user. If the Pinnacle medicates him effiiciently, then it will medicate anybody

I get mine tomorrow... If I can get medicated using this device then anyone will be able too I think out of everyone here I have the strongest desire for thick vapor with a smoke like high. I am very worried that the temperature will not release all the actives I desire and I will end up with a more vaporizer like high. I guess I will find out tomorrow.

Chill dude now why do you trust mark more then me Just playing around...Mark has his needs and if they aren't meet I think he gets nuttier then I do which is saying a lot.

I am a medical user and vape non stop for the most part.

Carlos, I totally understand where you're coming from. Everyone's needs are different. If you want a portable that's really quick, try the FlashVape. 5 second heat up time, and you're totally vaped in 3 minutes! Only problem is it combusts fairly easily IMO. Man, these vapes all have their pros and cons....

Hey mark how much do you consume a day out of curiosity?

I use about 2 grams a day sometimes more depending on pain levels. When I go to the theatre or a show I usually take about 600mg of Hash Capsules as well. So on those days I usually use more around 2.6-3 grams of actives in the day. The average dose on the hash capsules for most people are 50-100mg. So that gives you an idea.

You are one of the unusual ones around here and I am opposite of you cause I like cooler temps. I never even tried high yet. I may today just to see how it feels with the heat so if people ask.

I may not understand how EXACTLY you feel but i have a very good friend that i have known for over 20 years that has Chron's disease, and i have seen the torture he went through. i will say... he saw a specialist in NYC not too long ago that removed a big part of his large intestine i believe and after the surgery he was a changed man. he went from being a skin and bones skeleton to a chubby little porker. he eats better and his stomach pains that plagued him daily have subsided alot.

i hope you too, see some relief to your symptoms

Yep I am different.... I consider myself an ex-combuster who only vaporizes for health reasons. I don't like vaporizer highs actually. Low temp vapor gives me a Sativa like high which is uncomfortable for me. I look for a high that is as close to combustion as possible. In order to get that I need to skirt that line between combustion and vaporization. That is why I tend to like devices like the Cloud, SSV, LSV, and others where I can actually combust if I am not carful. They let you dance that fine line... and I like that. There a whole list of sedative active compounds that don't get released until after 400F... so I am worried I will be missing those actives in the medicated feeling the device provides.

It appears you, Medical Mark and Slightly Medicated are the heavy hitters. If the Pinnacle works for you guys, that's saying something!!

My biggest concern is speed and temperature. I don't like sitting for more then 1-2 minutes per session. If I spend 15-30 minutes per session... I would be medicating all day... I want to power through about 3-4 hits on high and be done with it. Lets hope it can live up to that. I am also hoping the boost temperature is actually higher then TVB reported. I would love for it to be about 410 in reality. Then I know it would release all the sedative actives that keep me calm and collected. I think with a tight pack, slow draw, and boost mode I might be able to get the vapor density and active ingredient composition that is acceptable for me.

Honestly from reading your stuff for a few years if this does it for you I would be very surprised as your needs are higher then I think everyone. If you can, can you separate from your personal medical needs and the vape itself? I write reviews based on my needs as well but since I really think this won't do it for you I still want your thoughts. I know IIRC you can take a long draw but I still don't think you will get enough in you in 3 hits but who knows. FWIW an actual session to full time is 8 mins of draw. Mine takes about a min ten to heat up and then a bit to heat the herb close to two minutes. So a full timed session might be ten minutes but not after heat up.

I am really digging this vape. It solves the problem I had with the Pax where if you set it down and forget it, you end up wasting the load. My throat cannot take too much heat all at once and I always felt like I was racing against the clock with the Pax. Twice this morning I forgot the PN was on (I use low) and picked it up and it still tasted as fresh as the last puff. Love me some convection! The airflow on this guy is perfect, no restriction. Just like my HI or UD logs, I can suck up about .1 to .15 into the bullet and go to town with plenty of visible clouds and the resulting ABV is nice and evenly roasted. As soon as I get my 14mm mouthpiece tomorrow I can really test this guy to see how well it stacks up against my logs - I am expecting it to perform beautifully.

I think I have finally found a portable I can recommend to my combusting buddies. This is the year I convert them all!! I have really high hopes for the PN and cannot wait to see the pro version.

I want to respond to this really quick to alleviate any confusion from the general forum:

The Pinnacle will only blink when it senses battery life is below 80%. And this value is not really accurate (has to do with estimates and battery voltage profiles). This is actually why you need to charge your unit fully when you receive it. It allows the battery circuit to get an accurate read on the battery charge level.

Even if your Pinnacle is not blinking when on the charger, it is still charging. So you don't have a defective unit, you just haven't been taxing the battery level too much.

Yeah, too bad TRVB couldn't include one more heat setting. As you said 370, 390 and 410 would be great. I guess that's one potential negative with the Pinnacle, as it seems most digital portables can reach the 410F range. Anyway, I hope you can get your desired effects with the pinnacle with huge draws at 390F....

My reviews are always done from the perspective of the person who will get the most use from the device. I try and leave my own bias out of it. There are plenty of vaporizers that just don't work for me, but I still recommend to others on a regular basis. My preferences change to from time to time. I hardly use the PAX anymore and when I am out and about. Now, I usually use the INH004 on like 8 or 9 temperature setting. When I first got the two it was the other way around.

I am sure I can tweak the temperature some by changing my draw speed or blocking some of the air intakes. I plan on experimenting to find the best hit method for me.
