Is there a way to get a custom carving on the back of the launch box? Valentines day is coming up and nothing says love like a custom vaporizer.

I'm not sure. Why don't you shoot Magic Flight an email and ask them? :)

Where is the cheapest place to buy a Magic Flight? I'm thinking about buying one for fast self medication out of home.

I always liked one-hits from my pipe when I combusted out of my house and I think this will be the most similar vape out there.

Gotvape will price match it at $80 and maybe even lower. And youre right, the MFLB is the best portable one hitter vape I've seen so far. It has replaced my protopipe in that regard.

Definitely the right choice. The box makes medicating at home without causing the whole place to reek of bud easy as pressing a button. Ebay has some very good deals with extra batteries, water pipe adapter, free spacecase grinder, shit like that. Just make sure the box you are buying has the click lock lid, it is the latest model if I'm not mistaken.

The dirty one was my early model Box that I dropped and damaged. The clean one is the warranty replacement :)

Nice photos. The older one is a really early LB. What was the damage? I can't see anything obvious.

As has been mentioned before in this thread, it is common practice to mix joints with tobacco here and it's come to the point where I need to knock the tobacco on the head. My first MFLB is on it's way after being convinced by this thread! I'm all stocked up and ready to vape, the LB is due to be delivered tomorrow morning. I'll continue to read this thread to try to take in all the valuable advice here and hopefully contribute in the future.

I was a big mixer of the tobacco and Weed in my joints for a very very very long time. Before that was blunt wraps from overpriced cigars. I got my mflb a bit over two years ago and haven't looked back. In that time, I smoked one joint... Actually half and a few hits from a disgusting bullet pipe. I have no more cravings for tobacco or anything burned. Success!!

    Good luck!

Whoa, how did you get it that dirty? And I thought my box looked a little off because I've never done the ISO clean... damn. Did you dirty it for the photos? What have you been vaping? :p

Thanks, glad you like the pics!

It was the pin which attaches the lid. In the first pic you can see it pushed out a wedge of wood at the back of the unit, creating a gap around the pin. After that, the lid was very loose and wouldn't make a seal unless I held it down tightly. One side of the screen was also slightly detached (it had been that way for some time already) Technically it still worked, but just barely, so I decided it was time to retire it after many years service.

Hahahah yep, its extremely dirty! I blame Amsterdam weed :) I was vaping the finest Dutch herbs, which are very sticky and resin coated. It got that dirty naturally, it wasn't setup for the photo.

I did clean it occasionally, but less and less often towards the end of its life. With the volume of top quality herb I was putting through it, the Box got dirty so quickly that I slacked off with cleaning. I did brush the screen and do the 'burn off' reasonably often, because that affects the function. But I stopped bothering with aesthetic cleaning (like the buildup underneath the lid)

so I looked at this battery push ring and how my hand hurts after about a half hour of hits and took a pair of nail clippers and took the outer edge off of the push back ring at one end only. what I ended up with was a cone shaped push back ring that requires less pressure to operate and still has a positive battery shut off in "my mflb" your mileage may vary!
i did find that for my hands that the clear top needed some more bevel angle so that my hand pressure does not dislocate the clear top in use
really like this box and its starting to fit and feel gooood
i think that an exotic wood like a fruit wood would be big sellers if they were more available and talked up in the retail store. Where i bought mine, that was not mentioned, kind of pisses me off that the alternate woods are not talked about in the retail stores but live and learn

I'm ordering my cherry LB tomorrow. Gonna do it over the phone because I don't want to use UPS for shipping. ;)

Don't blame your LHS, they probably don't even know that exotic wood LBs exist. They have never been available from anyone but Magic-Flight's official store.

I might be wishing a bit too much here. But does anyone know if there's like 2nd generation of MFLB in the works besides the concentrate pad? Like Lithium battery instead of the rechargeables? Updated design?

I found out that the item has the 3 month warranty and the seller gives an additional 3 months. So that is fair given the low price I paid. I am ecstatic with this LB, it is so much better than the iolite at least the classic one. I am using the native way and getting incredible production of vapor quality. Although I said I would get a diff vapo like the Arizer, not sure it's needed now. The main issue is its a bit awkward to use ( i heard a report on this on BB's bungallow podcast) the fellow said its very awkward to hold.
It's somewhat but not really so bad. it being so small is a real plus. Also the science of how it works is intriguing. It can be used indoors very easily. I bought the Iolite at the time about 3 years ago cuz most people were raving about it. its too bad i didn't hear much about the MFLB back then. And I heard how hard it is get the hang of? it's not hard at all, and I am not normally particularly handy at all.

Whoever told you the LB only has a 3 month warranty lied to you. All LB's have a lifetime warranty provided by the manufacturer.

Adamster - There were a lot of people recommending I buy another vape as a first vape too - but maybe because I'd used vapes before (mostly the Iolite, which I'm not very fond of, and the Volcano), I went with my gut. I couldn't be happier, mostly because the learning curve is minimal if you're smart enough to log on to the internet (FC especially) and take the effort to read a little. With just the PA, this can transform into a desktop vape to hold you for as long as you like, and you are at the liberty to upgrade because you want to - not because you need to. Their service is extraordinary as well.
Personally I think maybe you should just send Magic-Flight a cursory email stating the number of your new box and when + where you bought it so that they know you're the owner - this is what they recommend.
Have fun with your new constant companion. :D

Ok, just got off the phone, and my new cherry LB will be shipped out today! I cannot wait to get it. Magic Flight customer service is great too! They got back to me within 24 hours to take my order, so I am very happy. :D

All MFLBs have a lifetime warranty.
I am interested you say it can be awkward to use. I am left handed and hold the box differently to a right handed, I need to hold the battery in with a finger where as a right hander would hold the battery in with their palm, to me it would seem easier ans stealthier to be able to hold it As a right hander. I have tried to use it right handed but I just naturally feel more comfortable using it left handed and had to find my own way of doing it.

Wow , I never thought about that .
I'm sure this suggestion must have been raised before .
    LB for left-handed users ....

I also use it left handed most of the time , I can switch when my left hand gets tired .
And using a finger to hold in the PA button is a bit easier for me .

    BTW ....SNOW !!!!
Stay safe and have your batteries fully charged :)

I like the MFLB so much I even have a spare unused one just in case my current one fails. That said, if MFLB created a left handed version I would buy two of those as well, it would definitely be stealthier, as holding the battery in with a finger makes you hold the box in a manner that exposes it and is not as easy to conceal.
