From what I read it seems to be all natural..But it's made by vapor bros..And sold through mf..I've had a near death experience smoking that synthetic MJ. I started moving furniture after I smoked a bowl and I felt tightness in my chest I lost all feeling to my upper extremities. It was some scary stuff..Btw I just got my new p a and water pipe whip adapter (beta) in the mail..I'm excited,it going to make watching the walking dead tonight exhilarating!

    Wow, glad you survived. Scary.

To be clear, I'm not saying it's synthetic MJ or not a natural (probably harmless) herb. But the synthetic MJ uses this herb as a carrier sometimes it seems, therefore it's banned in LA. The herb itself (as well no doubt as synthetic MJ). It's like the good old days when you had to buy a bag of Bull Durham with your papers.....only in reverse. Sorta. Guilt (or innocence) by association.

Thanks OF, A lot of interesting nuggets there.. I just have to use a little common sense..

I received my water pipe whip adapter. I like it. But it's no improvement over the current wpa. Because the whip itself can't be disconnected from the glass slide. That makes for difficult cleaning. I would post pictures of it I don't know how to.. What's nice about the wpwa is that you don't waste any vapor. To me though It feels like you have to pull alot more and the vapor isn't as thick. I didn't like feeling out of breath. With the original wpa the vapor action is much faster and direct. So while I enjoyed the wpwa..I prefer the original

my mflb has already started gathering moisture under the trench inside the box. my herb are dry but not dry of the kind that its like toasted bread and when u start pressing in with your fingers it becomes like dust. if i let my weed out for some hours it becomes like that dry as hell and its easier to grind it to fine powder, but i dont know if that changes the taste and the potency.anyone knows if its ok to let it out to dry completely?

You're welcome. If you find any of that common sense stuff, please send some my way? Not only can I use more (some say all I can get....) but I know others in much more desperate need......

Yes, it's fine, dry it out. None of the active stuff will be lost. In fact, there's an argument it gives you a bit more delivery as less is damaged in the 'drying out' by local hot spots and the like. Saves your battery life too, which is always nice.

I like to vape mine a hit or two then dump it out in the palm of my hand and lightly 'finger grind' it so nothing gets stuck together preventing free flow in the trench. Once it's good and dry this step is quick and neat and IMO helps a lot.

    Good luck.

    Hey Ed,how's it going?
IMHO there's no such thing as to dry. Taste is better and potency will not be affected. The MFLB likes DRY BUD.
Great little vape dontcha think? Feed her what she wants and she'll treat you right.

all this time i was afraid that if i dry it too much it will lose potency.i have realised that when the weed is drier the box vaporizes it easier so i was thinkint to let my weed out to dry as much as possible but some friends keep saying that if it dries it loses actives also with the water.

shipdit indeed mflb is an awesome vape. i love it so far and i think i am going to love it even more...also another question,if i keep my weed grinded does it lose potency or is it ok also to have it dried and grinded in a small stash( i mean for outdoor activities) and fill my mflb's trench whenever needed with already grinded weed?

Don't sweat it man. When it drys out that just means all the water is gone. All the good stuff stays put.
I always carry a stash with me when ever I'm awake. Grinding it up also won't hurt the weed at all, so feel free!
Dry it REAL dry, grind it REAL fine and you're good to go!

To be clear, there will be a little accumulation no matter what you do. Drier is better but it won't eliminate all resin buildup, it will just minimize it.

After usage , when the box is still hot ,
stand your box on it's side , lengthwise , on the edge of a table .
Allow the resin to slowly drip down to the stem , it will take several nights or more .
But you will see the resin flow downwards into the stem ... eventually . Depending on how much
    you vape daily .

Reclaim that resin and do with it what you want ....you'll be glad you did .

    Thanks all!
It took me over two years to get from 119 pounds.. to my original lifelong weight of 151.
50 days ago, I hit my "fighting weight", and I owe it to MMJ & Vaporization.:)

Isn't gaining back the weight a great feeling? My problem was that I didn't stop and overshot (damn munchies)...now I'm what one would call "adorably chubby" Although in my opinion, with my bald head, I look like two stacked golf balls :smug:

Howdy ya'll! I'm new to posting but have been lurking this forum for almost a year. I decided to buy my first mflb in Jan. after being convinced by this thread :) I LOVED it and ended up giving it to my sister a month ago so she would start vaping and STOP combusting. Of course I had immediately went to my local shop and picked up a new mflb and ordered the PA... also already had new batteries being broken in from the day before so I was ready to go!

I quickly noticed an issue with the contact when using my new batteries in there being a gap between the wood and battery so it was not snug at all like with my old mflb. The batteries never slipped out with my old unit but there is too much play with the new one and they easily slide/fall out. Well the main problem really is when I got my PA and started using that. Its very hard to get a good consistent contact (light on in box) and once I do, it keeps losing its connection when I'm taking a draw and since I can't see the light while drawing I sometimes don't notice its not on. I'm wondering if it is a problem with my box since neither the battery or PA fit snugly and I constantly have to re-adjust while drawing to keep it "lit" or maybe something with the PA? The batteries do slip out easily but they don't seem to "cut out" like the PA while I'm using those.

Any advice would really be appreciated! Thanks in advance and I LOVE this thread!

First off, Howdy, good to meet you and welcome to the fun. Thanks also for posting the photo, you look very familiar to me, but I can't place it yet.....

You have a common ailment. One of my boxes had it bad. Part of the problem is the size of the batteries is not well controlled and the box needs to accept the largest possible one meaning the smaller ones are smaller. The PA has to be in that range as well. Just as big a problem is roundness. Often you can get it to work well if you rotate 'tight spots' to align.

Too tight is a bad problem as it can leave the box running when you don't want it to.

The adjustment is made all the harder by the fact that stainless steel generally makes a lousy spring for use like this (which is why you don't find stainless springs in flashlights were it's so obviously an advantage otherwise.

I can suggest 3 options, two if you don't want to send it back for 'tightening'. You can try shimming it a bit. For a while I used a small wedge shaped strip of tape on the PA to make it snug. Scotch tape worked but took a beating and needed replacement a lot so I put a bit of the aluminum tape used to tape up ducts (duct tape doesn't really work on ducts.....). This is thick metal foil with tough adhesive but kinda pricey to buy a roll to fix it with a tiny piece (I had it already).

Finally you can try to tighten it up yourself. It's easy, but you have to be a bit handy and take care. The factory recommended using a screwdriver tip on the bottom of the coil while opening the window and placing the top of the coil (the part sanded flat) on something solid (I used the jaw of the vice) before tapping the handle of the screwdriver a bit at a time. A few taps did it for my 'almost tight enough box'. When I got the latest one, it was worse still and I didn't like pounding on it all that much so I cut a piece of coat hanger wire and bent it into a 'U shape' maybe 3 inches long and just wide enough to slip over the coil part of the loop. I bent the ends of the arms a bit to match the loop a bit so it snapped into place and stayed on the outside of the coil because the ends of the arms were in the slot. Then I carefully crushed it down with vice grips in a series of progressively tighter latchings (testing between).

This last technique let me fine tune all my boxes as I wanted them. Much better than fighting it.

Good luck, please keep us posted?

Bummer BDV, I know that one. Right now I'm using the new computer.....don't press me for details, it's not a happy story but the ending is OK. Damn machines, tool of the devil you know......

Anyway, take a break and let the B Team handle this one?

You're very welcome, hope it pans out as well for you as it did for the others and me. I don't recall anyone saying they wrecked theirs trying and had to send it in for service, but it's guaranteed......
