The Herbalizer

canj00digit?

All my days in a daze...
I can't tell if you're joking but it is not the bags that make it harsh, it probably has to do with the materials used and the air path. ;)

I was just being lazy in referring to 'the bags' when, indeed, I mean the 'bag experience of the Volcano' versus the 'bag experience of the Herbie'. That experience is of course affected by, like you said, the materials used in design, the purity of the airpath in the design etc. The bag materials, while maybe relevant, is likely the least important factor.

Otherwise I would just buy some Herbie bags and throw them on my old, dusty, unloved Volcano. :D

Almost there...
How about a balst from the past??

"Whip it, whip it real good!"

@mvapes I will try the hemp in the male end of the bowl and see how it goes.
I quite like the idea of having some high quality herb soaked in other high quality herbs resin and then vape all that goodness together! Sounds like a recipe for success!

I tell you, Herbie has a way to make you smile in more ways then one... There must be thousands of messages in there when you open the clam... Even after scrolling through what I THOUGHT were all of the messages, BAM, a new one that makes me chuckle. Having your vape greet you every time just makes all other vapes seem lifeless in comparison. I look forward to opening the clam each and every time. :)

I remember my old beloved PD...that thing would take about 30 min-1hr to really get ripping nicely...now I can just switch on my herbie and be medicated within minutes. A nice luxury indeed.
Just wait until they start making user adjustable 'laser vapes'. Instant temp of choice, and to the 1/10th degree!

the speed is making a bigger difference for me than I thought it would - by the time I have any material ready it's ready to go, significantly faster than anything else I have (except for combustion but as they say..fc!)

I love that aspect... now when I tell my husband just a second I want to medicate real quick... I don't mean 3-5mins... I mean 1-2mins max from start to finish. Making getting ready to leave the house much smoother.

Same here.
It is a partner pleaser.
When you walk back into the room... and get a smile, a kiss, along with "Wow that was fast"..
...that is some positive reinforcement that sticks in your brain!

In my case it was more like 15-30min with the vapes I had (never was a smoker and my throat can't really take combustion) now it seems like no time at all

Sorry for asking this question again, but could anyone tell me what material the shell is made of?

I said I'd get back to you today. I don't have the exact plastic, but it is a manufacturer's proprietary formula with high-temp and strength additives.

The high-temp isn't really needed, as the shell should never get hot enough to be of any concern. The guys, being "rocket scientists/engineers", like to cover all bases, in case.. I dunno... you involve your poor Herbie in some freak Crème brûlée caramelization accident.
:p

But, in terms of strength, DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME, Josh grabbed an office unit, put it on the floor, and proceeded to stand on it (other foot in the air, so all of his weight). I shoulda taken a pic, but both the unit and J are perfectly fine. :)

Wow i have just seen this vaporizer on FC, i kept seeing the thread and thought it was just about the herbalair, and i was like, i dont care about the herbalir why is it so popular all of a sudden, THEN i opened the thread and its a totally different vaporizer, amazing.

I read that other people thought they had herd the name before and i had the same feeling. Interesting.

Definitly could be my next vape in a few years once the price cools down. But for that price the sublimator is very tempting, and to me the sub represents a true leap forward in getting stoned off vaporisers, this one is more for aromatherapy and less focused on cannabis, no problem with that and i totally understand why, but for me and for 800$ i want a device that is focused on getting me high.

this one is more for aromatherapy and less focused on cannabis,

That is not correct.

Aromatherapy is an added feature, but not the focus.

The focus here is on *PRECISE* (In a definition of the word that will be new to you or any seasoned vapist) temp control and extraction. This does have particular relevance to the medicinal user, but affects anyone who picks up a bag or the end of a whip.
:)

But no focus on any one plant in specifics or any plant over another. It's an equal-herb-opprotunity device. :)

For me the performance and result you get with the Hebralizer vs the Sublimator are totally different. I found the Sublimator to be very cerebral and not very body strong in the medicated state it delivered. It provided a more Sativa feeling effect, and the duration of the effect seemed strong, but rather short lived. Personally, the Sublimator was a step back for my needs. It was the first vaporizer I have actually sold after buying it. I found the herbalizer provides me with a much stronger and longer lasting medicated state.

My goal is for herbie to be my only "plastic" vaporizer.
Not that there's anything wrong with plastic vaporizers :spliff:

That makes sense.
I was observing earlier that when I dab sublimate it's much more of a cbn-type of body/sedative effect. It's easy to extrapolate from there that herbie is offering more of a full-spectrum type of experience, while the spectrums are separated (sublimated?;)) with the sublimator.

 so, what do ya think it is ? Space particles ? Some left overs down in NASA from a top secret project ? Alien carbon ? :tinfoil::D

If you're focused on getting high, then don't sleep on the Herbalizer. This thing gets me more high, more quickly, than any other vaporizer I've owned or used.

I'm more in your camp here, SliM. Just shows the power of marketing...

Thanks to all for the informative comments about the Herbalizer. I've been sitting on the fence for a month now, mainly due to the high price tag. Since I just paid off a credit card (1 down, 2 to go) I'm thinking of pulling the trigger. My present daily driver is my beloved UD. One of the reasons I love it so much is its efficiency. By efficiency I mean how much herb I need to use to get the same effect. Is there anyone who owns both a log vape AND the Herbalizer that can compare the two in this area? If the Herbie is at least as efficient as my UD, I won't hesitate.

Thanks for putting up with my questions. I'm kind of a freak about efficiency. :freak:
