Even with everything else that goes on in life, my hubby and I have always been pay it forward types, and we've always tried to support, however little we can, things that matter.

    This works. :)

KidFated's Solo (paid for by anonymous donor) has arrived.
At the same time so did grokits e-pen package ... with a Skyda 5, and vaporMax..
and of course, grokit's Vapocane B kit.
I am working on the destinations in my head as I type this!

These pre-owned vapes are great! I have been made able to offer choices!
I am loving the faces I see...
when they have a vape in hand.. and are excited... and then I say ... "or you might like to try this one"!
Thanks to all of you this is working.
I am working harder than ever, but this is a blessing.. a great thing indeed.
    No gripes here.
    I smile.

@Vitolo, in dedication of what you do! Thank you! (Sung to the tune of We Are The Champions)

    You Are The Champion

    You've paid your dues
Though you think you still owe time.
    You've done your sentence
But were guilty of no crime.
    And bad mistakes
    Who hasn't made a few?
I've had my share of dirty bong water splashed in my face
But I still see the good works that you do!

(And your contributions seem to just go on and on, and on, and on)

You are the champion, my friend,
And you keep on fighting for those unable, 'til the end.
    You are the champion.
    You've made more champions.
With you there are no losers
'Cause you have become a champion for the world.

    They've thrown out their pills
And medicine bottles filled with goo
You brought them vapes and herbs and everything that goes with 'em
    Now, they thank you!

Life's been no bed of roses,
    No pleasure cruise.
It was a challenge before you stepped in to save them
    Now they ain't gonna lose!

(And your contributions seem to just go on and on, and on, and on)

You are the champion, my friend,
And you keep on fighting for those unable, 'til the end.
    You are the champion.
    You've made more champions.
With you there are no losers
'Cause you have become a champion for the world.

The days have been busy and time has flown by! I have not had time to really gather my thoughts.
I meet with many patients daily these days.
Patty is off Wednesday and Thursday , so I don't make regular appointments, and will have time to share some moments with you.

Anyone in the room recognize this little vape?.
I know the perfect patient is out there for this simple little beauty.

The week has been productive, thanks to the generosity of my fellow Vapor Enthusiasts.

6 vaporizers found their way into ready hands since I last posted here.

I am actually writing a nice post now, but I wanted to "vent"

I need a friend's ear, so FC… you are it.

This is about my disappointment in some sectors of humanity, that run close to my life, and that claim to follow a compassionate path, but they do not.

Long ago, Vapor Trail's Mission Statement caused much anger in the community… but I never backed down.
Link--->Vapor Trail's Mission Statement for Arizona Patients (written in 2010.. revised in 2011)
I was administrator for a few websites/forums here in my state.
I eventually left all of them except for my own Vapor Trail, because profiteering and irresponsible behavior was rampant, and in some cases my name and "image/figurehead" was being latched onto by profiteers.
This one large forum closed down, and the website became a commercial Dispensary menu, and delivery options Site… with payment options and all. I had for a few years, through this website helped many patients obtain Vaporizers at no cost.
I had been so busy here in my own back yard, that I had not logged in in many months (what the heck.. no emails saying anything was broken!).
I decided to log in, and there was no longer a forum, just a business…. no place for growers even to reach out to less fortunate community members.. hmmmm… I wonder why?
Now that my community has been treated so well, I decided to reach out to the next community in my area and see if I could help.

I said "I am in the unique position to help a few patients in your community, as I have a few vaporizers here that could go to a couple of patients in need."

He responded "We now sell vaporizers, and we have plenty for the community. We are even considering a price break to those that are broke."

I reminded him "I was talking about DEAD FREE… and NO STRINGS attached".

    His response was as follows:
"Vito, I think we will stick with doing things as we are. No offense brother, but whenever you show up to help patients, community professionals wind up losing income.
Every time you help a patient obtain compassion meds, one of our shops or growers loses out"

    I did not argue.
I was too busy trying to gag back the bile that had gathered in the back of my throat.

Now I realize why the forum had closed down.

They had gathered a following… gained community trust, and then with a careful eye on their bankbooks, and the patient's wallet… made themselves the only game in town.
Hell… they even had my picture up on the front page of their Website!

I made them take it down. (see image below)

I do not need to go to the next community for now. I was just trying to be a Zealot and spread the word.
Tucson is plenty big, and has tons of poor patients.
I also, true enough am plenty limited in my ability to travel.
My soul is also limited in what kind of bullshit it can see without me losing heart.

Truth is I need to meet the patients I help directly any way.
At least they did not con me out of some equipment and then sell it behind my back.
I will stop whining now, and will update you good folks tomorrow on real progress that has been made!

    The removed image:
It was a shot they cut from my video "Mabel Retro RockZap" (feel free to view it)

Trust me... I am not discouraged... I just feel badly for their captive audience, and it makes me realize that in some communities profiteers are running the show. They tried to do the same locally, but failed.
Tomorrow, I will post the successes!

The week was great in spite of my description of being slapped in the face by greed. They wanted to isolate their patients.. mostly rural and without internet.. from information.

    Here, Vapes went out.
The week… has brought was a giant leap forward into the confidence zone.

Patients known to be shy and afraid… with the lowest of self esteem have been stepping up and looking me right in the eye, to ask for help/parts/information with the tools they have acquired.

I had collected parts from funds that were left over after paying all vendors off.

:)One young fellow met a couple here at my home.
I generally do not see more than one person at a time. I had that couple here I spoke of once, that each got a VG, thanks to a member here.
The young fellow I speak of came a few minutes early, and the couple was just leaving. The husband had his wooden VG in hand, and so in a moment of camaraderie with an older person, my young friend (18 year old patient), flashed his VG… the wife pulled out her "coil". all 3 smiled for a moment of unity.
The young fellow after the couple left could not stop giggling.
"Did you see me? I was right in there. We were all the same, and I was one of them!"
    I was excited for him.
    "You sure as fuck were!"
    We finished our meeting.
He was here to get some of my body tincture for spinal condition.
I always slip him a bud or two.
I asked him how that free acrylic grinder was holding up.
He said it was great.. but I knew better… I paid 87¢ for those grinders, when I was much worse off than I am now.
    I played it cool ….
I dropped a space case small 2 piece into his small box, next to his meds.
"That is a gift from the members ay Fuck Combustion."

:)Patient that has been without job for a very long time.
I got him a Buddha in 2011. Back then it was just me and Patty.
    We fought hard to help.
    Things are better now!
He was here to talk about flowers (meds)
He was so shy in the start.
A month ago I gave him a good grinder, and told him to tell me up front if anything goes wrong.
Today when he was done with flowers, he said:
"there is a little crack on my buddha wand, but it still works OK.
If it stops working can I buy a new one?"

    I asked to see it.
it was no more than 2/3 of a wand, and the bowl was 1/2 size at this point.
He said it had been like that for months.
Damn….. using that wand showed some determination!
I gave him a repaired one I had fixed up a while back…..
and told him that it was his spare…. and then he received a brand new one.
    That made my day good!

:)Wheelchair bound Vietnam Vet has been in my home a number of times.
I help him with medibles, and I got him an EZ vape a couple years back.
This week he called to ask if I could look at the cord. It was shorting out in one position.
He can not get his chair down my hallway to the vape room. We visit in the kitchen.
I had him sit, while I left to "repair" his unit. (I will be repairing it too… and passing it on later)
It was funny to see his face, when I pulled out a Da Buddha. I told him I had to alter the body on his plastic box vape, to get the new electrical cord to fit.
He raised his eyebrows smiled and said ;"You sir are a liar, but you appear to me lying to my advantage".
Both of us had a good laugh.
Damn I like it when patients leave here feeling in a better "life position" than when they walked in!

I am in the works right now to get permission for a patient living in a long term care facility to use an extreme Q there.
I gave him an MFLB that was donated from FC, by his own choice, so he could leave the building and go to the smoking "gazebo" and vape. Problem is that summertime is upon us, and each day it gets less comfortable.
Hopefully we get our answer by Friday.

Here's to wishing you all thick, rich, flavorful vapor!

    Talk later.

Edit: will also speak to a close friend of mine to see if he will also contribute a bit. I encourage all those who read this to consider the same :)

I got a few emails asking why I did not place an easy donate link for folks that wished to donate to help the patients that I work with.
I placed a link in my signature, but it felt funny to me.
I will put a donate button here in this post.
I will then place a link to this post in my signature.
That will feel better to me, while still leaving the option open to others.

Here is the link: Any donation made into this account will be used
to acquire Vaporizers, or replacement parts for
Low income, severely disabled, State Certified Arizona MMJ Patients.

This Paypal button is to help low income patients with vaporizers:>[IMG]
    It will say "Dogland Park"

You guys have made me the busiest guy in the Vape Universe!
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your help and support.
A few times I found time to post answers in threads, but have ignored this thread, for there is ALWAYS some kind of news on the brink of occurring!
You guys can see ... we have $80 in the classified fund.
Thanks to you guys that did this!
Vapes have poured in from you all... and I won't review names.. I might forget some!
Vape makers and sellers have also helped... Big time.
Thanks, @FlashVAPE for donating a brand new kit meant to go to just the right patient. That was surely compassionate... and it is not the first time you have come though in this manner!
@PuffItUp ... well you all know Randy. He never stops being an inspiration, and has helped me since we met years ago. He had some obscure vapes that he decided to donate before making the move to a new location. He tried to make it sound casual, but it was really a big deal, and Randy I thank you.

I fall short in sharing success stories.... so many faces, so much history.
Due to TBI (that good old brain injury), I get to say that it is all a blur, with no recourse!
While it's truly a whirlwind blur, there are plenty moments that brought me to my happy place, and I will surely try to share more of those when the dust settles!

I send my fellow vaporists a hearty lungfull of love and gratitude.
May the Universe in it's wisdom guide the vapor I now exhale.....
... to where it is most needed.

    *Edit- (and an update)
thanks, @bellas for sending in the pinnacle you had for trade. I will find the parts needed to make it complete!
    UPDATE-
The classified fund now has a healthy $175 in it.
our @pakalolo had an auction for a Volta Vaporizer, and the winner was @TanukiCoast whose funds were donated to the fund that is listed in my signature.

    RE-Update-
Classified fund is at 200 dollars.
    Thanks @didolgi
