Hi everyone, dammmmmm it's quiet here! Well I'm back lol :wave:right vapefiend has got the minivap back on its Web site :)but saying out of stock atmo! Take it something has been sorted, good news :tup:so thats got me thinking again! I still want A MINIVAP!! :love:Got to admit I've had some really good heavy sessions with my volcano lately but I'm still thinking about the other women! so my question to you all is what kits did you buy? ie full kit or single, portable?do you use the battery most times or power adapter? Is it really worth buying the full kit? I have got other vapes to use, also as I have experienced with the glass core and did find it quite hot! Would it be worth me maybe trying to get the Teflon version? Or do you think the glass unit I had before might of been faulty or whatever?

I first got the portable, and I still use it that way sometimes because It's great to be able to take it around with me when doing whatever. But a few weeks later I gave in and ordered the mains connector, and tbh, I use it that way the most, because I'm usually just at my desk using it, and it's nice to not worry about how charged up it is...best of both worlds! I suppose when plugged in it's kinda like a space age log vape :D.

hey MV'rs! Any tips on how to use waxy concentrates in the miniVAP?

I'm thinking I should put the wax on the concentrate pad and place that in the chamber with no basket in play. Or should I put it on a bed of flowers in the basket?

I'm also thinking this would be a red setting only affair.

Let me know what you all think. thanks!

@OnCloud8 , as per Hermes instructions, use the liquid pad along with a basket under it. And yes it's a Red affair. Hope that helps you. I tried 2x with only fair results. Very light vaporizer, tasty as Hell. I have a Persei for oil consumption, so I never tried it again. Oooh MiniVap:mmmm:

thanks! sorry for the silly question / I really should have searched ;)

edit: not much luck with this, flavor (delicious!) and aroma only, no visible vapor.

Hello, team.

Does anyone know if Hermes only offer 25% discount codes on the black Friday weekend in December, or if they randomly post discounts throughout the year?

A 25% discount makes a massive difference to the outlay of a MV for me, and it's the difference between ordering one and not ordering one.

Yes, I'm tight and poor. Sue me (although it won't do much good - see previous "I'm poor" admission).

Peace in the Middle East

I'm becoming so disheartened by the current situation. I've waited 5 weeks, and have sent several emails chasing up the current status of my vaporiser which is currently MIA to be told several days ago it is on its way back to me, all fixed, fully functioning. The order arrives today to contain just some o-filters, and the glass adapter i ordered in the new year, and no unit. It's my birthday in a couple of days, and i hoped i'd have it for then but looks like that is not the case.

I agree with what others have said here, i would have preferred to have been given a refund than deal with shelling out hundreds of pounds on a vaporiser to have it break after a couple months. Send it back, receive a new one and then have that break after a couple of months and be forced to send it off for repair, i'm really not impressed anymore at all with my with miniVAP experience.

Curious, since you have an E-Nano, and that is my all time fav after owning well over a dozen vapes over 10 years. Not including your customer service experience, and reliability, when it did work properly how did it stack up to the Nano?

I like to think of myself as a seasoned user with a reasonable collection to carry weight in saying this - IMO no vaporiser i've ever tried has compared to the flavor and quality of MiniVAP's vapor when it is was fully functional. I hope to try the VapeXhale Cloud Evo as i've hear that is also meant to be amazing, but until then i'll have to keep MiniVAP as my person best.

The E-Nano is a very reliable back up unit, i keep it powered down very low, and then turn it up for usage. It truly shines when paired with a water unit, or paired with F-bomb water tube.

It's my birthday in a couple of days, and i was kinda annoyed earlier and had given up with
expecting it to be sorted out anytime soon, however i've now been informed (a few hours after being told that nobody is sure where it was located) that it has been fixed and is on its way back to me in time for my bday :).

Hey bio long time no talk
I know your asking someone else but I thought I would give you my opinion as well since I've been a long time owner of the enano and almost half a year on the MV. Taste and cloud production goes to the MV for sure. Enano still wins on efficiency but the MV is right behind it. I turn to the MV when I want that full convection experience and the enano when I'm low on material. Are you considering getting one ?

When you buy the portable option from minivap. Com does it come with adapter too use without battery. Or you have get gold edition too get both battery an adapter. I wish they tell me which core they got wither or not to buy decarb ring kit.

was having some trouble with vapor production, so I was testing configs. think I got it sorted and discovered something I had missed before.

I finally managed to get the herbie whip into the cap correctly! even though it bunches at first I gently pulled it up and got it in place, took a bit of zen patience but now it's in there with a nice tight seal to the flexicone.

so it starts like this, as I shared before:

and now resolved by gently pulling the tube upwards while poking it open with an arizer glass stir tool.

Thanks for the feedback! Well, i've had the Herbalizer and EVO and no longer have either, but still have a Nano! I have a feeling that the MV vapour is similar in quality to the Herbalizer, absolute top notch.

Hey brotha, yeah I had to step away from the forum for various reasons/threads lol, but i'm back now, and stronger than ever! I know we have very similar tastes in vapes so it's always nice to discuss things with you and I appreciate your feedback.

I have been considering getting one, but first i'll have to check it out in person when I get to try @lazylathe's MV! I'm just having some concerns about reliability long term, and i'm having a hard time keeping up with all the various decarb rings, flexicone things, changes in cores, etc. Just seems like it's still premature for this one at this point in my eyes, but i'm sure i'll change my mind!

Well, as I stated in my last post, I was going to contact Vapornation today based on the report in this thread that the eta for 'newest' version of MV was still an unknown. Vapornation verified that that is still the case as of today. They have no idea when at this point and I was told they are in constant communication with Hermes because they (VN) have fielded many calls with the same questions I have. I was told that the last info they were given was first week February till maybe second. We both had a bit of a chuckle since that time was now and no further info was available.

I asked if they had any existing inventory and was told yes. A couple gold versions and silver. I then asked if they were willing to send me a silver (my black and gold versions failed....my gold of course was the only one he recalls being sent back for failure....go figure ) and they were more than willing. It's from the last batch they got end last year, same batch as @lazylathe got his from, and seeing his has been working ok I agreed to have it sent to me. VN told me not to worry if this unit somehow craps out like the others I've had and a replacement would never be an issue. Other than the slow turn around time it takes VN to process warranty returns/replacements they have been honest and up front with the situation. That leaves me with good feelings towards them.

Hopefully I'll have it by end of week and it's the keeper. Three's the charmer, right?

We need to organize a get together again soon!!

My MV is still pumping out the vapor and flavor!!!
I do not use any decarb rings etc... Just as it arrived from Hermes.
Only mod is a glass straw!

Forsure dude! I'm off of work for the next month recovering from the hernia surgery! If there is a time for anti inflammatory vapours, it's now! lol

@biohacker - one thing you are going to like is how the form factor is similar to a log vape. I cut my teeth on the PD, and I love logs because of it. If you're that into the e-nano then you will like how this one feels.

That's awesome, just got the LSV as well, and loving the form factor (albeit a bit large), and I assume the MV is very similar in form (but not function!).

This is good to hear! Hope your new one works great.

Also good to hear that they are still willing to deal with returns from that batch, since mine is also a silver from that time and lately I've been questioning it a bit (although as of now I think it's still going strong).

It is good they stand behind what they sell, but truth be told in this situation I probably would have had a quicker resolve to this if I had just sent it to Hermes, even with them being on the other side of the pond.

Oh well. It'll all be OK in the end.

So far mine has not skipped a beat!!
I do not use blue so much, usually just for taste testing!
Start on Pink, end on Green if no WT. ABV is nice and even and a light brown.
Red is for when you want to get serious! Serious heat, serious vapour and serious effects!!!
ABV is very dark!

Hope this one is a winner for you!!!

Had to pull out the MV for the nightcap session. Used the small baskets I got a week or so ago. Set to green i was soon exhaling a long stream of tasty SD vapor. Don't believe I'll be going back to the large basket anytime soon...
Started referring to the minivap as "the battery powered log vape" to friends. I'm with you on staying at pink @lazylathe , green bitch-slapped me into another dimension :o:smug:
Goodnight all I'm out !:zzz::zzz:
