I'm considering just going for the single Minivap (cheapest version) and, assuming I fall in love with it as other owners predict, I'll order the battery and charging dock some time in the new year

@JJ Cool F , If you look at the Hermes Website, they have a Gold Version(limited edition) that includes both the battery and a/c adapter and it's not a whole lot more $$ than the single version. Otherwise it's like $170 U.S. to buy the battery and charge dock. Wow that's MUCH!

On a Side Note, Don't use the Contact Page Form to get in touch with Hermes, it Doesn't Work!! I had tried to use it several times over last 2 months with NO REPLY. I finally just used the Info@MiniVap address in my own email and Bingo, Instant Reply!! they got back to me really quickly the following day! AWESOME! They appoligized and said they are going to look into why it's not working. I had been trying to contact them because I've got a Gold Version and wanted the Adapter to power unit at home without the battery, but there's no Option to choose gold as a color choice. So he told me to just buy and send them a copy of my order and they will send me a Gold Adapter to go with my Gold Unit. Said they don't offer them for sale on the Web Site, but if Asked they do have a few in stock on the shelves there and will definitely Help you out! Great Customer Service!! (once i was able to contact them).

I just placed an order from Hermes, grabbed a bunch of stuff, adapter, glass adapter, flexi cones, flexi+, baskets, screens both kinds, stainless liner. Post a pic when box arrives. I used the weekend sale coupon.

@JJ Cool F ,No problem I bought mine from VaporNation 2 months ago on 25% off sale. So I got really lucky, to hit it just right, I haven't seen them discount like that since, only 20% over this past weekend. Although their codes usually last longer for some reason. Nice kit, the portable Gold.

So having the gold adapter to match will be SWEET! Can't wait till my early Christmas gift to ME arrives with it & all the extra goodies. Lol.
I wish u all the best in your endeavor to attain the MiniVap! It's well worth its weight in gold, I mean GREEN. Especially as a Patient, it really helps with the medicating & delivery of the vital goodies.

My opinion on the vapecritic and why he has not tested miniVAP is that :
I went to his affiliate store and they don't sell the miniVAP so he probably can't get one for free/ on loan/ greatly reduced price like he can on vapes they carry

Here's the setup before I use it. The shots don't show the adapter by itself, just the rig. DonG was a fun one to come up with!

Thanks. The glass mouth is as big as I hoped. Should do a good job cooling.

Fit and finish on the adapter is tops. I at first thought the diameter of the opening might be restrictive but it's negligible. The snug fit with the Mini lid nipple is amazing. Kudos to the CNC Lathe and the designer @mestizo . Light years better than Hermes glass adapter.

A big thank you to whomever thought it was to expensive and didn't buy this in the FC classifieds.

Thought I would share A tweak I did to my bowl setup. So I use the flexi + and two screens(one is the o ring) and of course the basket. I added one ELB cap to the basket and removed one screen. Before I used the former setup on some new material I got today. Decent clouds,not as big as some before. Enter the ELB bowl.. Got ridiculous amounts of vapor and what I also noticed was this setup milked my glass longer than usual.

Like the arizer basket from the EQ as a cap/lid of sorts for the large basket?.. This is pretty much the only method that I use at the minute.. Works an absolute treat!

I need help understanding this. I have already put an elb into the heating chamber to check for size and it was too tall. Did I miss something?

Are you using the screw on cover or is that eliminated with your cluster?

It's not hard to picture. Flexicone +(flexible one ),o ring screen then a basket with the lid of a ELB sitting inside (it fits perfectly).

Out of short term frustration, I wrote an email to cancel. Am I making a mistake? I just got the mighty and am a big fan of concentrates so I use w9 products

I have a couple really silly questions and the manual is very sparse. Can you guys help?

How long should I charge the battery before connecting to the heater when just setting it up for the first time?

Is it cool to leave the heater connected to the battery while it's charging?

The AC brick has its own green/red light. Once the battery is seated properly, if the battery is in need of charging the light will glow red.. Once capacity is reached it'll go green.
As for the other query.. I believe that it is indeed Ok to have the heater connected whilst charging but don't turn the unit on... I think

Oh!, on the actual AC brick, not the base right? There is a red light there. So that will go green when it's ready to go?

I believe that it is indeed Ok to have the heater connected whilst charging but don't turn the unit on... I think

sounds like i'm best off keeping them apart then, better safe than sorry. I was curious because I thought maybe that's where I'd see the charging light.

My tracking details in DHLs website never updated from the first entry in Spain so I called them and it was the same as you - didn't receive anything from the shipper.

I sent them an email yesterday to try to find out what was happening with my order but I'm still waiting in a reply....

I ordered mine on Black Friday and by the time I woke up Monday morning it was shipped. DHL tracking is very detailed and updated frequently and 2 days later it's already in Oregon.

I did write an email to sales@minivap.com the day after my order requesting a switch from black to silver because of the two-tone black units some have received. Don't know if the color made any difference in shipping speed. I'd be curious to know what colors Elvoz and mixchu69 ordered.

It was the black one that I ordered - although I don't feel strongly about the colour so an email from them explaining that there were issues with stocks of the black wouldn't have been a problem. Silver would work for me too!

Instead, I got a shipping notification and my credit card debited for a package that DHL say was never sent!
