The top perc was kinda wonky and off center. More so then just variations because it's hand blown. I honestly believe it was a mistake.

grasscity has started their 25% off sale.

    code gccb12

woo fucking hoo! i have been waiting for this for ages!

I just spent $280 aud and got the deal of the year!

the black leaf 10 arm saxo bubbler for........................... $82.80 was $115:bowdown:

a 9mm glass beaker bong (for my clumsy mates) $56.88 was $79

a Stemless Inline Perc Glass Bong With 8-arm Tree Perc for $108 was $149

plus some other odds & ends.

Now I ordered these off my wishlist, when i go to search the site there is only like 60 bongs avail for the whole site. so i think they may be having some tech issues due to traffic.

Now bear in mind that those $$$ are 25% discount and then converting usd to aud,
    but wait for it..............................

spent over $250, get free delivery.
    Fuck yeah!!!

In regards to the one tree vs the Saxo. I have yet to find a tree that percs as well as the Saxo. Its actual functionality is superior to pieces costing far more. However... it is massive vapor volume and the mouthpiece is like 38 mm tubing. Too big, IMO. I know a couple owners feel the same.

In my collection, it really doesn't get much use... but, I bet I would grab it before the ioffer piece. Not knocking the ioffer pieceat all. I just know how well the Saxo works and have yet to meet anyone that owns it, that doesn't like it.

:) gc is back up proper.

here is some of my goodies I grabbed.

9mm thick glass, awesome enough to beat a burglar to death, and then vape some dank thru it before you gotta clean up his blood spattered corpse. (just wipe the gooey brain matter from the lip of the mouthpiece- yucky burglar brains)

might get me one of those domeless nails for this piece

While I'm not familiar with GoGo pipes other then the name. My first response to the design is, that the tree does not appear to be braced in any way. Instinct tells me that it could break when tipped over.

Its not GoGo, it the GC logo mirrored. They've done a few collabs with some decent names. They then give them all to Linda, who reviews them. Its a nice piece, well worth the money. Its Schott glass and yes, the arms are reinforced.

They are indeed cheap, but aside from the HVY tube, the other 3 are all non-GonG, which makes them much more inconvenient to mate with some/a lot of vapes.
    :2c:

A cool piece that's not GonG makes me a Saaad panda
(I've seen a few cool pieces on BM recently with a built in bowl:argh:)

Totally right on the GonG, I had not even notice as I was just going pretty fast through the pages...
OK then, it's 50 not 40, but GonG:

at 25% off from GC it is hard to choose the jhanpixel bubbler over the black saxo one BDV has from them. Someone convince me one way or the other!

The Saxo was a significant difference in anything I had used. I had other trees, domes, showerheads. But then I saw WAT's video using a Saxo with his SSV. Holy hundreds of little bubbles, Batman! Had to have one. I believe it is one of the best low/mid-level priced pieces on the market.

However, I think the Nautilus lean back and Weedstar double bubbler are two excellent alternatives and I would be willing to trade for... just to try something different. Just a couple of other pieces to keep in mind, if you're going the GC route.

EDIT: Oh yeah... one of the Saxo best features and I'm sure other owners will agree, is the massive base 6" is huge. You will NOT knock this thing over... Ever.

I bought the Vriptech Bub but I can't buy Hisi in Europe...

Can you post a link to the exact Hisi downstem you use or give me the details (connection, length, head) so I can buy more or less the same from another brand ?

    Thanks!

The size is 4.5 inches. That's from the top of the GonG joint to the end of the diffuser, this is standard sizing for downstems that most seem to follow. I could not find an online retailer for HiSi to link, I got mine from a local dealer for $35 US.

You should be able to find something local or online that will work well for a much better price. Just look for something that has the diffusion as close to the tip of the stem as possible. Maybe someone else knows of a good working downstem available to you? If you're shopping around and aren't sure, just post up a link or picture... someone here well tell you if it's worth buying.

    And... welcome to the forum!

A lot of those particular hammer style bubblers have built in bowls.
