Cheap, high-quality bubbler??

Yea, I had read the whole thread before I posted in it. I think it is more then a month now but I have no idea about time. If he was having trouble he is getting out of it now so that is great. I am a bubblehead and not the kind you use so I guess I forgot.

And there's also a fair amount of glass-noobs (like myself) posting links/pics of cheap glass pieces to get opinions/critiques from more experienced people. Not all glass in this thread actually ends up fitting with the title of the thread. Just sayin'.

So I finally went with the Gogopipes bubb It's awesome!! The glass is really thick and it stands on its own pretty well. I might build a little wooden nest/stand for it just in case though. I'm waiting for my Gn0me WPA to try it out and I'll post a video when I do. Here's a few pics:

It weighs 271 grams and fits comfortably in my hand. I like that there's nothing written on it, makes it look pure in a way.

They should have left off that enclosure around the showerhead. Sigh...

That was my first thought when I saw it too. I wondered why they bothered to cover it, less diffusion, more fragile, less volume. Doesn't make sense to me.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Anyone interested in this piece might wanna wait: I just noticed that it's broken. You can even see it in the first 2 pics... The breakage is subtle, I didn't notice it until I decided to clean the bubb with alcohol and it splashed all over me as I was shaking it.

I contacted gogopipes about it, hopefully it won't be too much of a hassle exchanging it.

But shit. Sucks.

I never had a doubt that they would. Glass is glass. Sometimes it breaks on its trips around the world. It's good to know they stand behind their product

Yeah I'm really glad they made it easy for me, too. I just had to send in a few clear pictures of the breakage. I would've been pissed if they had asked to get the broken one back before sending a new one. +1 for Gogo

So you got better customer service from Gogo tha you can get on the $500 cloud unit from Vapehhale. They require you to report glass problems within 24. Hrs of receipt and will only ship replacements after they get your old one. Cudos to Gogo!

I don't own a cloud or have any allegiance with them, but I'm not sure thats really a fair comparison. A 500 dollar unit produced by a handful of people with a customer base most likely in the 4 digit range compared to a large cheap glass seller with undoubtably a higher profit margin. They can afford to just replace a cheap (no offense) piece of glass without worrying about who caused what damage etc.

Even if it was a 500$ piece from alt, they might have you send it back before just taking your word and replacing it, and they're much larger than vxe.

And yet I think that with good pictures showing the break (at the same time they could ask for the receipt to show in the picture), any company should send a replacement immediately and then ask for the broken piece returned. I think that is what good customer service is (ESPECIALLY for high-priced items)

What size if any is the Gong on the mini mini?
Power came on after the FC bubbler sale so this looks like a good alternative.
