CERA, the wait & gibberish thread

I wonder if the people that did not get an email are in round two and will get the 2900's?

I had originally ordered 2 batteries. I had them remove the second battery from my order. When the 2900s are available I will send in my two 2250s and pay $25 at that time to swap them out for two 2900s.

There is no way I'm not gonna have the batteries that this thing was designed to operate best with.

Pretty solid of TV to agree to swap them out for us.

Not sure I like the idea of paying for shipping both ways. Would hate to pay more in shipping fees than the batterry is worth.

I live in the same state as TV. Shipping will be cheap. I'll eat the cost. Probably end up ordering either the LL Or VG cart at that time as well.

heat cold... virtually indestructible, but ano th er 250 for another undestructible titanium tip, does hurt..... but having that ceramic piece in your hand would be sweet no doubt!

Some crazy shit and that's just regular ceramic, zirconia ceramic is aprox 4.3-8.5x stronger*.

Numbers based on compressive strengths of materials ceramic being 50k-100k psi while zirconia ceramics is 435k psi!! That's some crazy shit. Btw while I was wading through references and Wikipedia I realized ceramic is used way more places then I realized ranging from kitchenware to aerospace engineering, jets, surge protection, very interesting stuff

That is very interesting! It's nice learning things like that, white zirconia ceramic is quite ALOT stronger. I wonder what was TETs influence to design the Cera with this certain material, like out of all thousands of things why this specifically? They've already shown us many reasons why and I'm definitely sold. But I wonder what else they considered for the Cera before they made their final decision with the Zirconia Ceramic, great idea IMO.

But I do love the idea of engraving and also different wood designs on it like TET mentioned randomly, I also mentioned minerals like gold/ black onyx.
