Just an FYI i asked GHL to add two more batteries to my order and exchange the diffrence for the SS case i ordered since they haven't made them yet. They were happy to do so they just needed my paypal email.
Edit. I was also advised my hoppers SHOULD ship by the end of the week but i won't hold my breath.
Double edit. Refund was received less than 10 minutes after i sent my email. I will say GHL is damn good at responding and if it wasn't for the 12 month delay, and unmet delivery estimates, we may have all been viewing their customer service as stellar. Certainly prompt.

That would be me who suggested the reverse bell curve theory. It makes sense, a lot of hype was built up during the Indiegogo campaign, and the people who missed out on that probably rushed to preorder right away. Even the news of preorders opening up might have built some additional hype for a month or two.Can't remember if it was you or someone else, Ratchett, who suggested the reverse bell curve theory (fewer orders in the months between 2/15 and 12/15 meaning that HL will cover a lot more ground in fulfilling orders in the coming weeks), but this would seem to support that.
Can't wait to see what goodies you'll be coming up with to pimp out our hoppers.
I'm sure it didn't take too long to reach saturation point. You have to admit the Grasshopper is for a rather small target market. Not that many people vape cannabis yet. Also, Hopper Labs was making very slow progress last year, the thread was very quiet over the summer. Not much to speak about with few units out there and little encouragement for the future with vague updates from HL.
And then once they started building a little more steam in November, plus the holiday season sales probably picked up again. I'm sure they've picked up even more since Feb/March when hoppers started going out in real mass quantities. Word of mouth is the best advertisement!
I'm loving my Vaposhop SS hopper and can't wait to try out my Ti preorder. I was thinking August but at this rate it might even get here by July. Of course my official estimate is still June 2016.
Maybe so, but that market is still MUCH larger than people think - Pax sold over 500,000 units in two years (in American only). Imagine how many Pax2 vapes they're going to sell worldwide over the next two years.
The GH fits into the same niche market as the Pax vaporizer - stealth. Which as it turns out seems to be the #1 biggest selling point in the vaporizer community (based on my own sales research).
I say let's see what happens when HL catches up with all these preorders. I'm betting they're going to give Pax a run for their money in the next year

Just stopped by to whine.... I'm supposed to get my hopper this month, but I have the feeling this will go by yet again, making this more than a year wait (June 2015).
Then there'll be an email on July 1st from them with some "hey gang we're reeallly moving on production now! We got a new schwantsnickel and figured out how to increase our shipments and we'll be updating the estimates in a few days...."
Fudge.

I agree completely that Grasshopper will give Pax a run for their money. My friend has a Pax 2, it's a fine vape but I think the Grasshopper is in a whole different league.

April 17th, 2015 pre-order. Received it today. Absolutely amazing!! I've been using an Arizer Solo for numerous years and I love the Grasshopper. I didn't find it harsh at all (the Solo made me cough more and seemed hotter). And I hit this thing hard (because I wanted t see how fast it worked). Smooth flavor (not in away 'flavored' by the device), not too hot (I believe is started at 3 but turned it up to 4 because at first I didn't see much vapor). Not sure if it puts out more vapor than the Solo but the effects hits much harder and faster (and I used the Solo as a session vaporizer). Anyway I just wanted to stop by and say I'm glad I waited it out.
"Krazy", it appears that you and I ordered on the same day, April 18th, 2015 (green Ti). Hope I'm not rubbing salt into the wound but fyi, I received my address confirmation email on June 17th and my shipping notice today, June 23rd with an eta to southern Cal of Monday, June 25th. Note: I did not elect to pay the $10 upcharge for expedited delivery.
** One thing I wanted to ask those who have recently received pre-orders; did HL include a "bonus" battery as they stated at some point a long time ago to partially compensate for their missed delivery dates?

Stay strong...believe...your cup is half full. We don't know the number of outstanding preorders so it's really impossible to know how quickly they will move through them.
The last I saw on Reddit, there were at least a couple 5/31/15 preorders who got address confirmation emails. And that happened quickly after some March preorders. I'm an early June preorder and keep waiting to see activity for that month.
So you may not see your gh this month, but it may not be too far off. I'd love to see you get yours this July, or August at the latest.

My 1/16 order also has an estimate of June 2016. I believe strongly that I will have my hopper in hand before the end of the summer at the latest. Not too long ago we heard that if they were going to push estimated ship dates again there would be an update mid-June informing us of such. We haven't seen that update, so it seems as if current estimates are holding and there have been a lot of address/shipping confirmations recently spanning something like 3 months worth of preorders. Like Mr. Me 2 said: "Stay strong." Like Tug McGraw said: "Ya gotta believe!"

If you have a June estimate and not expecting until summer, then your estimate hasn't held. Sounds like HL forgot to update in mid June. That said I have my addy conf for early May, so hopefully my June 2016 estimate will actually hold and hopefully you will get yours this summer as well. It does seem like they are moving ahead one month each week, so I hope that stays true!
