Alright, so it ends up I was able to test out my Pinnacle. I figured I'd first do a complete dry run, and see how many of my dry sessions would it take to use up an entire bullet. For my low tolerance, one bullet was enough for three sessions, which is awesome! I used a medium-fine grind, semi-dry herb, which I packed lightly. I filled the bullet up all the way, packed it down halfway, filled it up again and packed til almost the top, then put a little bit more on top which I packed down as well. The result was good vapor production with great taste on low, with better vapor but a little worse taste on high. I hadn't vaped in quite some time, so the vapor irritated my throat a bit. I'm sure in a couple weeks this will no longer be a problem with me, since the VG didn't really bother my throat too much before. Next up I'm going to try a full WT session, on high the whole time. Will update later!
All in all, I'm super happy with the Pinnacle. It's super discrete (my friend was in the room with me and he couldn't even tell I was vaping!), efficient, tastes great, and gets me where I personally need to be. Not to mention it looks/feels fucking awesome!

Interesting, I wonder if it's made from the same polycarbonate material as the clear one? I'm curious if it will clean easier than the clear PonG. The cleaning issue still seems to be a problem with the clear ones... C
The tinted mouthpiece was designed for the pinnacle pro, given the issues we were having with the clear we have introduced it to pinnacle until we have conclusive answers on the clear. I think it looks pretty cool, probably better looking than the clear

Yeah, the tinted mouthpieces look fine, but if they're made out of the same material as the clear ones; common sense would dictate the cleaning problems would be the same as well. For instance, if the clear mouthpiece can't be cleaned with a typical ISO wash then I would assume that ISO wouldn't work on the tinted mouthpiece either. That is, if they're both made of the same material......
The palm 2.0 uses the exact same clear mouthpiece as the pinnacle, and that product has zero problems cleaning, as I said, we were not able to replicate the fogging issue, so we switched to be safe until the details are in. The tinted and clear are both the same material

I've been cleaning with alcohol swabs after every use, and haven't had any problems yet with the Palm 2.0 or the Pinnacle. I hate cleaning just as much as the next person, but if you do it after every use, or even every week...you don't have to worry about excessive buildup. I don't see any reasons to ever have to submerge it in alcohol or boil it. But I'll admit, I'm a major neat-freak when it comes to my Glass/Vape, so I do understand the flipside.
Hopefully these tinted pieces make everyone happy campers.

I soak my stuff cause I just chuck it in a bottle and take it out whenever. You can also shake to agitate which makes things easier to get clean. It just so happened I didn't do that with the PN MP cause I was doing a quick q-tip iso. After that the fogging came up so I didn't bother. To get things totally clean I like to use iso and boil especially for travel.

I'm not sure if they are addresing the issue right. I'm talking like an outsider because I don't have a PN, but in the beggining I was really interested in one and have been reading all this post from the start.
So we have a mouthpiece made with a plastic that can't bear the usual cleaners we use in our vapes. I won't be happy that the answer is to make the issue less noticeable making the plastic tinted. Everyone will have the same problem but won't notice it, that doesn't helps at all IMHO. Can't you change the plastic for a better one? Maybe the one used in the Iolite? I always cleaned my Iolite tubes with ISO and never had this isue, they're like the first day.

You don't have to dunk it in iso, a test swab means just a bit on the edge somewhere you won't notice...

This is the composition of the alcohol that ruined my mouthpiece, as stated in the label. It is in spanish, I hope it won't be a problem as it is technical stuff:
- Etanol 65%
- Alcohol Isopropilico 35%
- Desnat. con Bitrex 2ppm
Flotato de dietilo 0.3%
I repeat my suspicion that the problem is the length of exposure to ISO. See this essay on the Chemical Properties of Acrylic.
Diluted ISO and/or short exposure will not have a noticeable effect. That could explain why TRVB said they've tested and can't replicate the problem. TheHerbalReview says he uses ISO wipes on his PN and P2 all the time without issue. Others have reported the same.

Great article Pak! I've had my Pinnacle for about a week, but based on all the posts about cleaning issues, I've yet to try ISO on the mouthpiece. However, after reading the article, I think I'll try a quick wipe down with ISO followed by a water rinse. I have 91% ISO, I wonder if I should dilute it?
The article states that by increasing the molecular weight of the polymer it will result in increased ISO resistance. That said, TRVB should consider that information when they manufacture the next batch of mouthpieces. In the mean time, it makes sense to only use ISO for short durations and possibly dilute it as well....but will diluted ISO work effectively cleaning the heavy resin build up on the plastic? IDK, we shall see.....
