I'm not trying to instigate trouble here, just wanting to understand and add to the improvement of this technology. I might be willing to buy this product.
Might be? If you're not willing to buy the product, then that's exactly what you're trying to do, because how are you going to "IMPROVE" this technology without ever seeing it?

Hey got the omicron today. I loaded the cartridge exactly as specified, tested the cartridge first before loading it (pretty simple and hassle free) and followed the instructions exactly but I have yet to draw one drop of vapor. I feel like I just threw away 1.5 grams of killer wax between 2 cartridges . Any suggestions?
Try gently heating up the top 1/3 of the cart to get that wax moving down. Make sure you don't overheat.
Good luck!

I got it! I guess the wax is difficult to get to the bottom. I loaded 1 gram. Is it better to load like 1/2 gram? It says you will damage the seal if you heat the cartridge below 1/4"? It there rubber in there for a seal?

That is one way to look at it, but if you don't ask questions how can you expect to learn anything. I have no oil right now, and until that changes, there is no point in buying it. That doesn't mean I can't participate in the evolution of a device that many of us want to see working right, user friendly, and hassle free, which is what we all want am I correct? I am not a business, so I have no interest in cutting into his sales, or what ever, I am just trying to geek out on something that i have been working on too, and thought I was among like minded folk. All I was trying to say with the quote you posted was that my intentions are good, and if I had some oil I would probably be buying his set up to try out.

Guys Silica rope is safe, some people may create panic just to sell their own product.

Silica technology has been around for the past 4+ years with ecigs. Even the FDA could not find any issues with it, or they would have clamped down on the ecig market.

Yes we are positive that there is no scientific evidence that silica rope is bad for you.

Silica Is used in these fields.

Welding blankets, shields and curtains
Furnace insulation
High-temperature insulation during
machine building
Thermal and fire protection during ship
building and aerospace work
Insulation in automobile mufflers
Turbine insulation
High-temperature composites
Fire resistant doors
Thermocouple insulation
Protective shelters and clothing for
firefighters and foundry workers
Insulation for fire equipment
Inflammable blankets for industrial or
household use

Makes you wonder huh how safe it is if its in all of these places.

Now wouldnt the FDA jump at the chance to stop ecig specially when they have clear evidence that silica is bad for you?

Im guessing they dont have any evidence because it does not exist.

What some people will do to hype up their products is amazing. In reality all it comes down is efficiency.

Lets see these products go days without refills, or even weeks. The way we see it is that you have to carry around your tools, and meds everywhere just in case you run out. Not very efficient if you really want to load it forget it for days.

THC SCIENTIFIC,
THC, is it safe to reclaim a dead cart? My cart died the other day and im worried to put a lighter up to it. Could that melt the plastics in the cartridge? It would be a shame to waste a half g of good oils.

There is no plastics in there, it is all rubber made to withstand the heat, everything inside can withstand heat, you can take a blow drier, or slightly heat it with a lighter, it will all melt down.

Have you ever heard of Silicosis?( im not saying its directly related to ecigs but i think its some what relevant to share relating to silica fumes) 4+ years is not enough to make a clear assumption that Silica rope is safe for the lungs IMO. I know we are supposed to trust the FDA but lets not over look their stance on cannabis. lol

Silicosis is cause by silica dust the raw form of silica, if the case is not trusting the FDA then anything they have approved is not to be trusted. That means every vape out there is not to be trusted.

FDA had a major shit fit with ecigs, they tried to regulate it, if it was an issue then they would have brought it up.

If silica fumes was an issue then not one of these industries would be using it.

Ya, and what I was saying is how are you going to "improve" on THC Scientific designs if you never see the designs you are destined to improve upon? ;)

Well, I didn't mean I was going to improve THC's design necessarily, just on the concept in general. I see your point, how can I know what he's got if I don't buy it, well if the photos posted above are what he is using, I know what that is. If that is not accurate, then I guess I won't know. It's a mute point as I don't have the means to use it right now anyway.

Yes, you are right. Your point is moot. :)

Just got my omicron few days ago, love it! Just orderd a revolution kit, i feel like what the omi has goin for it is max efficientcy and longevity. I wanted something that could do both herb and errl (but tv has a biger bowl than what seens like the herb cart thats comin soon) ive found for wax, using the sharp edge of the car i just scrape wax with it directly into the chamber and then melt down, much easier than the paperclip method haha.

That unit you have ordered to use has some issues, you need to constantly load it, That unit melts all your liquids at the same temperature, and yes you do get bigger clouds, but there is a trade off, you have to constantly load it. It is a glorified atomizer, you cant dose your oils like the Omicron cartridges, This is where the issue is. You have to walk around with tools and jars for the whole day.

With our design you dont have to worry about loading countless times a day, specially when your out and about.

Our nail cartridges produce the same vapor, last as long as that device, So yes the Omicron can produce the same vapor. Cost way less and be more portable.

I think once all the advancements and accesories for omicron is complete some one will be able to do a complete comparison between the two but until then no conclusion should be drawn. but i think both products/companies offer new vape technology that have all us vape enthusiast/collectors on the edge of our seats; those of us who are constantly begging and axiously for product updates. Its beautiful to see the bright future for portable vaporizers. Just the idea of 400+ hits off 1gram is just a wonderful ratio

Until i try it ill never know. With thicker waxes there have been claims of storing a lot more than jusr a few hits. Thats what i like about the omicron, i never have to mess with it, just a simple charge everynight alongside the phone every night.
