I am not trying to be rude but if you must give me an infraction for this post then so be it. I agree that people need to be more patient but mods and manufacturers you know people aren't and they are always going to want all of the information they can get. If no release date had ever been mentioned I would agree with you pakalolo and everyone else saying that it is clutter. I do not think it is clutter rather very important and relevant information especially for a thread that is unofficial anyways. DV has come out with several release dates and if they wanted to tel us to be patient and it will be done when it's done that would be a different story, but like many other vape companies they get ahead of themselves and start spouting dates which is nobodies fault but their own. It was asked several times today which was prompted by information they put out on another social media and it was clearly danced around by DV when he "answered all the quick questions." I posted a few days ago about my fears of DV and their may 1st (or before that to FC members i believe he said) release date and I think it is on their shoulders because they are giving out information based on things that can change. DV strongly stated that it would be rocked and ready to go before the 1st and I think they should share in the accountability of their claims. It is exactly like I said in my last post. I work in the software industry and if I rumor a release date and I don't meet it I don't get mad at the customer for being upset with incorrect information I gave them, even if i had good intentions. That is how the world works and I could see a valid reason especially for those on a budget trying to scrape funds together (i have been there myself). I think they are normal questions built up with some angst and passion from excitement. I am not saying you guys are all in the wrong either but I just see where everybody is coming from and I thought he was being ganged up on.
I don't want to disrupt this thread further but there are a few lessons everyone should take from this.
First, you are breaking the rule about discussing a moderator decision.
V&C took it to PMs and you should have too. Instead you continued the derail, an unwise choice. If you publicly challenge a moderator then you leave us no choice. If you send a PM then it's a private squabble and you can't get a warning point.
Second, you might not think it is clutter but a lot of us do. More important, as a moderator I get to make that decision, not you. That's my job here, and it's spelled out pretty clearly in the rules you agreed to when you joined.
Third, you shoot yourself in the foot when you point out that the question has been "asked several times today". That's exactly the point, and why I was telling
V&C to can it.
Finally, I would like to point out that while there have been opportunities to hand out points, nobody has gotten one. We have rules, some of which have been broken here, but one of them is (thankfully) that rules are enforced at moderator discretion. I'm trying to get you to understand my actions without having to hand out a warning. Please don't make me change that.
