The Pinnacle by Vaporblunt

Okay, I've been lurking around FC all day... waiting for the UPS guy to show up to my place. The hours seemed like days; but FINALLY, it's here. I immediately ripped the box to shreds and found the typical (beautifully designed; as always) box from the VaporBLUNT company, as well as a little cylinder of bubble wrap, which I knew was going to be the glass attachment.

My first impressions:

1. Holy Shit, this thing is way smaller than I was expecting. It's made of plastic, but feels weirdly well-constructed... could definitely take a few drops on a hard floor.

2. It's got to be one of the easiest portables to use. Literally all there is to it is the unit itself, the mouthpiece (removable), and the heating chamber underneath. It's got a single button and to empty the trench to expose the "bullet", you just tip it upside down. I now understand why everyone is referring to it as a bullet... which is a nice design.

3. The "Bullet" cartridges look at first glance like they'll hold about twice what the VaporBLUNT 2.0's trench can hold; which was one of my only complaints about the VB 2.0. They also give you an extra one, but I have a feeling I'll be purchasing more in the distant future.

4. The Glass attachment is small as shit, but wow... it's absolutely gorgeous. All of the slits in the bottom perc as well as the mini splashguard are precision cut. No problems like I read earlier about the glass being tilted... blew my expectations out of the water. Once you've got the attachment replaced and the glass attachment stacked on top the Pinnacle, you'll realize how portable this thing is. My friend was also pretty shocked. I did a few dry pulls through the tube and the airflow is a little restricted, but that leads me to believe the draws are going to produce nice vapor.

I'll be sure to post my video review sometime this next week after I've got a really good hang of the Pinnacle. Props to TheRealVaporBLUNT, I think you've really got something special on your hands here...

Alright guys, I was off work today so I had to chance to finish up my (long overdue) MFLB review for my YouTube channel. After I got done editing it, I laid in bed staring at the ceiling... unable to fall the fuck to sleep, pondering why the hell I didn't charge my Pinnacle I got in the mail earlier...

Well, because I'm an idiot... that's why. But, me being the impatient guy that I am... decided to see what kind of vapor I could get from the slight battery charge that the Pinnacle was shipped with. I knew that it wouldn't be much, and I also completely ignored the massive sticker inside the box that says, "Pinnacle MUST be completely charged before first use." Yeah, fuck instructions... I'm a man.

I loaded a bullet about halfway and turned the unit on. Filled the water tube up to the right level, and fired away. Here's my initial impressions after the first (short) session.

1. Holy balls.
I re-watched some of my footage and was blown-the-fuck-away. I've seen a few preview clips of people hitting it on here and expected the same type of hits I got from my VB 2.0 (which were pleasant, and cool, but I had a hard time milking the larger tube). The tube was white for a solid 10 seconds with COOL vapor. Already blew my expectations away.

2. This Water Attachment is Tiny...
But I love the shit out of it. Everything about it. It doesn't stack massive amounts of bubbles, and it is going to be smaller than you were expecting... but never fear, it kick's ass. The first time I filled it up with water, I made sure to pay close attention to the water level (so I wouldn't spill out the bottom) and still spilt out the bottom. It doesn't take much water AT ALL to fill it properly.

3. This Feeling is Completely New.
I've used a ton of vaporizers so far in my short reviewer career, and I've yet to experience something like this. Given, it's 4:03 in the morning and I've only milked the thing a total of 3 times (before the battery died), but I really am blown away with the Pinnacle. The hits didn't tingle my throat the least bit, the herbs were evenly vaped, and it feels miniature in your hand; I'm not used to being able to hold a vapor-bong with one hand. Depending on the battery life, and the consistency of the vapor in the future... this could be my favorite portable to date.

Here's a little preview of what I experienced:
I'm diggin' it!

glad you like it, HR...the HT takes so little water you could probably spit in it and fill it if you had to!

probably way too late in the development stage for this....but it would rule if the pro version had green led lights instead of blue....

trvb, yea ill post pictures of my flavor tip when I get home. another question I have is it really true that you "can't" use this with it plugged into the charger and it won't charge if you do that? UPDATE* this thing continues to blow my friends away, love the fact it fits nicely into any 14mm water bong if you want to use something other than the WT for the session. also trvb, when are accesories coming for this? like maybe all glass mouth pieces and 14mm gong attachments. car chargers, btw, any car charger you suggest? I had one of my first times when I had to sit and charge for 3 hours waiting to use it again pretty much wishing I had a car charger so I could have drove with it charging

Positive reviews make my days get off to a good start. I was so excited that I thought about starting an exercise routine :)
Any chance you could comment on the questions about the Pinnacle Pro and it's battery?
Does it feature the same battery as the Pinnacle Basic? The increased temperature range would surely use more battery, and it doesn't seem like the Basic has tremendous battery life to spare.
Does the Pro offer chargethrough (Essentially converting it into a home unit while plugged in)?

I've read back about 5 pages, but I couldn't find what I want to ask. Thus, Have any of your guys tried using this device in other glass? What I really want to do is to get a Mobius, matrix bubbler and I'm wondering if this device will be able to fit into regular-styled glassware such as that. Has anyone tried? I've seen the mouthpiece which is why I'm skeptical about it. If it won't fit, then I still have an UD to try and work with the bubbler. lol

The plastic on glass adapter is 14mm. Mobius pieces are 18mm. You'd need an 18/14mm reducer, which is a small glass piece to adjust it to the proper size.

the 14mm pong adatper comes with the WT, not the PN...so if you want to use it with a water piece that is not the WT, you would need to purchase the adapter seperately. I don't think I have put it on my mobius yet, so I'll give that a try.

The Pro is still at the drawing board in a way. We are trying to cram all the extras into the same housing and that is proving problematic. To be completely honest there is a chance the pro will not ever come out. The technology might have to be housed in a slightly larger body, which makes it dangerously similar to VB 2.0. I have yet to use a pinnacle pro I am happy with, so I have kind of shut down on answering questions because they are all speculation.

As for the pinnacle, I am stoked to hear all of your feedback!! I am working on some cool accessories currently, but I am going to learn my lesson from prematurely announcing the pro and wait until they are finalized before I give details. Thanks again

EDIT: no, the pinnacle does not work while charging.

Yes they do work on a bubbler. as long as it's 14mm. I have two other ones that I use it in and today I am purchasing a nice roor water bubbler just for this. it's amazing, good thick rips with a big water bubbler.

Hey fc I'm so happy with my purchase of the pinnacle convection vaporizer, im loving this thing.
Ok so ill break it all down for you as I've gone throu about 6 to 7 bullets I believe and each session has improved in terms of unrstanding and figuring out the what set up makes this thing perform.
Well I'm of the opinion that the bullet needs to have fine dry herb and pack the bullet tight right to the top.
Reason I like a tighter pack is because after a few draws the plant mater shrinks as moister is taken out of it so there en up being a lot more space in the chamber after a 2 to 3 draws so what looks tight becomes just right and allows ample air flow to pass through the material to great effect.
I let the chamber heat up till the light stops blinking on high and when it stops I still wait a minute before starting to draw.
As all vapes go the first few draws taste the best and have the most flavour to them but actually less vapor but. The herb heats up more and more vapor is released.
I prefer to starte to draws slow and then pick it up to cause air to flow through the tight packed chamber and I feeble that my result and very good, I get nice clouds from this method not like the VXH but that's with the small glass water tool which again I get fairly ine clouds and cause me to caugh so it having a effect upon my lungs and yes I feel medicated from this vape.
Anyway if using this vape with the mouth piece don't expect huge vapor but expect nice vapor that isn't to big in terms of visually but in terms of effectiveness your getting medicated with out the visual signs of vapor clouds but trust me that light vapor is very effective and medicates very well, so its discreet too.
Now the water tool is wear this little things shines if using this tool it makes the vapor much smoother and you are able to take in fair amounts of vapor and produce nice clouds. I pref to hit this unit like this on high with a medium to strong pull to get nice results. Now I've also used this thing with some water tools and now I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it works even better and you get bigg denser clouds you'll be very surprised I was.
I used a adaptor 14mm to 18mm and used this pinnacle on my hydratree and the extra suction and resistance gave me huge hits compared to the little water tool, and I also used it on my small double perc bubbler which smoothed it out so much more and also gave extremely good results in my opinion.
I'm really loving this unit so portable and versatile able to interchange glass ware to use all kinds of water filtration and from this small little thing. I've tried my pax with the same water tools and this pinnacle kills it in terms of vapor production the pax gives vapor initially and tapers away ASAP but the pinnacle keeps given for beyond the pax continual vapor being released and you can see it, I think the extra air flow and resistance helps produce denser and bigger clouds which is very cool for such a small unit.

Good job vapor blunt I love it. Just what I was looking for lol

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm glad that it can work with glassware. I'll have to wait for summer to be able to get one, but this excites me more than any other portable that I've seen. I was leaning toward the inhalator, but this looks so much better!

Also, Stickstones, let me know how that works with the Mobius. I am in love with that bubbler, and brand, so much.

yeah bigbill...all the talk over here with other glass has got me piqued. I'll let you know how it goes...will pack it like MM suggests.

mark...how do you like the low setting? I mostly use the high setting so I can get bigger clouds, bur really enjoyed my session last night on low.

And a big question was answered for me last night. The bowl I finished last night was started at the theme park days ago when I had to cut the session short. Visually, the top of the load still looked fresh (I was only able to take about three hits off it at the theme park) and it kept hitting like it never stopped. So this thing is the anti-Pax in terms of how it doesn't cook your load after you turn it off. Probably second only to the mflb and FV vapes in terms of that kind of efficiency.

Well sticks I actually prefer the low setting when just using the mouth piece tip,a nicely packed bullet again tight but not compact and just let it warm between slow medium soft draws and I get nice not thick smooth vapor which I can tolerate on high I can't and I actually like the vapor on low when using the mouthpiece.
I am using a bullet a session I guess maybe a bullet every 3/4 session before it turns off.
A medium steady draw I guess also works well you actually get more vapor but is more trouble on my throat.
I'm doing this as I right, then take a pull like right know. Oops it shut off now ill check the chamber and I did so evenly heated and us up I don't think Theresa u it that so evenly vapes the herb like tis be does.wow
Sticks it was really nice smooth to to hot wispy but effective visible vapor at the low temp setting now if i took a faster harder pull on it I get a substantially denser bigger hit of vapor, very differen then the high temp which I prefer with Water tool and glass ware and for such a small heating core and herb chamber I'm pleasantly surprised at the clouds I can produce with the pinnacle whe using a larger glass piece for water filtration like my hydratube and my double bubbler also big clouds more filtration smoother but lots of vapor not as dense but the hydratube worked very well, but that mini glass water tool for on the go so nice.
I also have a nice mod I don't have a VB 2.0 water tool adaptor or the water tool from them either but my 18mm to 14 mm reducer actually fits right inside the round raised edge and I fill the chamber and then put VXH elb above it with herb then the reducer which has a screen at the height of the elb top this goes over top and inside the ring and I can use that small mini tool with my vb 2.0 which is very cool and it produces nice clouds too which is the key.
I do really like its versatility and am beginning to want to use this thing as my on the go vape.
Cheers, medical mark

mark...what the fuck are you doing? I have no idea what you are describing with the EB...can you post a pic?

I went for a ride with my Solo yesterday for the first time in a long time. Great ride with big clouds and a great hi. So today I thought would be the perfect comaprison opportunity and took the same ride with the PN. The clouds weren't as visible, but I started on low and ended up on high (I just keep the Solo at 4) to get some more clouds. Next time I will start on high to see how it compares there. But the bottom line is that the effect is all there. I got out of the car asking myself 'What more could you want?' I was medicated, the stealth factor was maxed out, the unit was back in my pocket immediately because the unit never gets too hot, and I know the bullet doesn't hold much so it's efficient (that was for you, Crohnie). It's probably about the same as the Solo but less than the Cloud in terms of how much the bullet holds.

crohnie...I'm gonna have a hard time asnwering that one scientifically, so here goes the anecdotal response. The older style log vapes like the PD are the most efficient vapes I've ever used for two reasons, but one main reason...they are so restrictive in their draws that you couldn't possibly consume much before you just passed out. You could sit down with a PD hell bent on going through a 1/4 and you would never even get close because it would take you hours to do it and thirty minutes in you would be comitose. The later generation logs like the HI are just as efficient, imo, but allow you to dose at higher rates...thus enabling you to increase you consumption in the same amount of time, or just have shorter sessions. I spent a few years in pursuit of the most efficient vapes, but in the end I have found there to be a sweet spot that a lot of vapes fall into that makes them more or less equivalent. This vape falls into that category as far as its ability to medicate you with the amount of material used. I consider the HI type vapes, Solo, PN and VG to all be on the same footing as far as this type of efficiency. But then there is efficiency related to how well the vape does with different size loads. The Cloud can vape any size load, big or small, and that's a huge bonus on the chase for efficiency. The Plenty appears to be the opposite. I have not done enough usage with different sized loads with the PN to make a statement on it. But if you get my point here, this vape falls into the efficient category and do yourself a favor...dont' go too far down that rabbit hole!
