Depend on your water supply?
S. California water hardness is 750 - 1100 +/-
Colorado 30 - 60 -/+
Tap water is different depending?
REVERSE OSMOSIS is constant.
For growing on the mainland you need clean balanced water to have food quality!
Indoor grow’s or Outside grow’s require decent water to reach a decent quality level.
I use a “M” to test COLA grown in the garden!
In HAWAII when I was a surf hippie we used rain?
We had no cash!
Are crop’s we’re decent?
No seed’s in the 70’s! (Some were in to this kine of growing?)
When I move to OAHU, Hawaii We kept our home in California.I seriously wonder if you know my Uncle or is it First Cousin? Great-Grandparants adopted him unofficially as a child, who is and has been a genuine Beach Bum for 30 years on and off. Which people will hear that term and think it's meant in a derogitory way but in Hawaii it's not...generally. Also my Great-Grandpa ran a Gas station in Wahiwaha but im not actually sure when. We're also related to someone named Ben (and I don't know how to spell it but it's pronounced like "eye - e - pa") Ieepa or aiepa or something, and I think he was a successful surfer. I should really get to know those roots before there's to big of a gap
I have no idea why when you mentioned Hawaii that I remember seeing a picture in a junk drawer at my moms and how funny it was to see a bunch of Koreans with dark skin in a Black & White photo and there he is, White as can be. It's like the sun somehow made him look more "Howlie" as my garndma used to say, than Tan lol.
Rattle Can cleaned up really good with the simple green concentrate, got smart and just dumped it the Can and threw the whole thing in the microwave. Using the ol' noggin is never a bad thing but for some reason it never comes to mind =D
Thanks again guys.
I was born in 1958 in a Hospital in COMPTON, California@ataxian Huh I'll have to ask me aunt if she knows or remembers the store. the next time she does one of those Apple video chat apps on the iPad. My Grandpa owned was "Arakawa Shell" on California ave in Waikiki.
I think it's pretty much every Millennial has at one point in their life (or for me my entire life) has dreamed of growing up on an era between the 40's-80's as a young adult for one reason or another...hell I'd take going on 10 in 70's but until earth gets a time machine (or sucked into a Black Hole as some believe, and if I wasn't such a logical thinker I'd like to believe it could be true too) but anyway.
Our family name on Oahu (so confusing that "Honolulu County" IS the entire Island so for the longest time I thought they were different islands ) Arakawa.
But back to business.
Damn @pxl_jockey I think he like JUST made the "Made It" people cause his last piece "On The Block" is looking like it's gonna go at $400 when in August his pieces maxed out at $350 and that was a Prototype the piece I posted except with the top of the cover over the grudline indented to act as a well to recycle water like a Klein below to the lower slits. Ironically that one sold for less than $175.
I totally feel like this was one of those chances that the Internet and Glass Gods got together and split the sky to send his work to my phone and I squandered that chance on things like Car payments and "Rent" I mean like wtf was I thinking?!
Shot myself in the foot with this one haha. But seriously, Damn man! I feel like my dream piece just drifted into thin air.
Over 1000 pages, so many smart/genious individuals, and so much love for the diffusion pump perc and we couldn't think to just add top slits to so many pieces with that same "cup" design with slits at the bottom over a perc that comes from the arm into the main chamber. *Dave Chapelle voice* Gad Damn!
I have often found that a combination of politeness, perseverance and patience can pay off eventually. It appears my replacement RattleCan has been shipped by yingmin5.
Dealing with DHGate is nice and simple when all goes well, but when it doesn't they are something of a labyrinth.
That being said, they do try to protect the consumer and that is appreciated.
Much of my study is of OXFORD & CAMBRIDGE.I have often found that a combination of politeness, perseverance and patience can pay off eventually.
I also made an explicit point to the seller that we have established a big good seller, bad seller forum/thread with a list and individual experience reports.
I really really laid it on thick made it sound like a huge influential regime.
I was polite and insistent but consistent with everything I said.
This makes them think and keep them on their toes.
Besides resolving indivudual issues/transactions, I feel it will be good for the sellers do you think that is threat is much greater than it really is.
So I would suggest more of us take this line? The more we can reinforce this idea and therefore incentive to do better, from multiple angles but consistently and convincingly, I think there is a chance of seeing better treatment and swifter resolutions.
But...keep that carrot in view. I assured the seller at the time that I was going to give them every chance to resolve the issue and preserve their reputation before I reported my experience which would likely result in them being placed in the bad sellers list.
They practically pleaded with me not to harm their reputation this way.
I received the full refunds I was right the old eventually which was only fair because they sent me a completely different glass piece to the picture they showed it didn't even have the same joint size it was nothing like it and I didn't even realise until long after that there was a leak in the Bong anyway.
And they tried to offer me a cheapy green glass straw drinks type bong with a stupid lid on it as a solution. Telling me how they got family to support and stuff which I empathize with that doesn't mean they can go and tell me a load of rubbish that I never ordered or paid for.
So maybe keep this in mind guys. Hope y'all doing good anyway. Positive vibes from the UK tonight. Just happy to be alive here things have been pretty precarious of late.
Hey everyone, I'm trying to get my first water piece for my fury edge since the vapor is pretty harsh/too warm for me. Was considering The Scope bubbler from puffitup but someone mentioned that getting a dedicated bong would be more worth it.
What's the goto bong at the moment? Willing to spend the extra if it's worth it since I'm one of those buy one and be done type. How's the fc-ufo and how does it compare to the matrix sidecar or d020-d? I don't want anything too extravagant/huge either
The Matrix sidecar and FC UFO are quite large, the D020 and now the D020-d both have small thin glass mouthpieces now so I would recommend a Rattle Can, either of these,

or,

I am favoring the VA (top link) over the FC (bottom link) by a bit.
I was lucky, my F2 clears all my 'dewer' joints bar one of my Matrix sidecars, no rise needed...just.you will need an 18 to 14mmm adapter for the fury WPA
if you get the d-20 series with the Dewar joint you will need an 18 to 14mmm adapter for the fury WPA to seat into the Dewar join
That's not true, the WPA fits 18mm too

Oh Junk! I was thinking Fury2 vape and the Glass WPA that inserts into Fury chamber ( Fury edge chamber fits Fury2 WPA as well) ... the fury edge WPA fits those Dewar joints fine.. if you use Fury2 WPA in the edge chamber you will then need an extra reducer for Dewar joints ... in fact edge is bigger than fury2 WPA
sorry for confusion
Fury's WPA fits 14/18mm for sure, it sits perfectly on a 18.8mm (D020)So I'll be fine with just the fury edge WPA right? Just making sure before I buy everything! Haha
So how does the matrix sidecar/fc-ufo compare to the rattlecans? I see that they don't have the percs that the matrix/ufo has. Also so only the d020s suffer from the thin glass issue?

D020 or D020-D, if you already make the investment - IMHO don't go for the d020s.
Never tried the D020D, in my case the D020 really help with the harsh throat. 2 D020 survived almost a year, waiting for my new oneGlad I asked, I was pretty close to getting the d020-d the other day. So I narrowed my choices down to the matrix sidecar, fc-ufo, and the rattlecans will be a tough one. Just have to know the pros and cons of each but it's all new to me so hopefully y'all can help me out
