I would be really curious to get confirmation on if it's really stainless steel
I was told early on it is stainless steel, I will ask for confirmation if that is indeed still the case and let you know. I could always take an angle grinder to mine and if the sparks glow red it is stainless and not aluminium...I will see if I get an answer first.

If it is stainless steel that's actually a really good deal and I would be happy. Shoot xmax should start making grinders at affordable price for us consumers.
I would love to have a grinder that cuts like that in a bigger size That's not going to break the bank. I really dig this grind I actually really dig all the tools they provided I just noticed today that I have a little bag that came with the x vape and it works really good for me. Since I use a lot of capsules once I'm done and everything's cooled down I just toss them in the bag and it holds my device my capsule tubes and my empties right in my pocket. Been getting more see time with the vape today and it's Foreman really really good everything I could ask for.

If you can find out about that grinder I would really appreciate that I'm pretty curious?

If it is steel, I'm going to be bummed that I didn't order the version that came with it since that would have been a good deal for a steel grinder.

But, you don't have to rip it up, just put a magnet to the side. Don't put a magnet near the magnet in the lid obviously or that won't tell you anything. But if a magnet sticks to the actual metal, then it is probably steel.

If it is steel
There is a big difference between steel and stainless steel.
It could also be aluminium (also non-magnetic), which is why I suggested the spark test as a last resort. Also, lower grades of S/S can be magnetic, check your cutlery drawer for example.
Also, it is only $8 so there is that,

That is 100% true.

With that being said there's grinder is not magnetic so hopefully it's stainless steel cuz then it's a higher quality stainless

First batch of Roffu wpa’s on their way out the door today. I provide basket screens that I press but, also know that stock Roffu disc screens will fit as well.

Is there a website that we go to to order one? How much is it? Does it work with the cooling unit/top metal and plastic piece of the Roffu? Or is only used without that top part that comes with the Roffu?
Anything we should know about the different designs? It looks like some may be for different mm connections, but other than esthetics, what would be the reasons someone would pick one style over the other?

I assume that the higher the load goes into the glass, the more likely we would need to stir the material during a session. Any idea on how much material can be put in there and still work well without having to stir?

Thanks!

So is that @LesPlenty’s on the left, no-carb 19mm, that would be his choice? :sherlock:

edit: they look Tinymight-like, what’s the tube dia. on a TM stem?

Start a conversation with @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd for details, $25USD each plus shipping, can order 14&19mm, carb and no-carb versions. I doubt the use of the CU because of bulb/ridges and tube/bowl diameter is bigger than the hole coming out of the CU so not possible unless you modified the CU and only used the straight tubing which might be possible. The use of the CU might be nice as insurance against the wpa slipping off the heater because of the extra weight, where the CU magnets might make more secure.

No website. Message me here or on my instagram joda_glass.

You don’t use the top section with this wpa.
As far as different designs go there really are only the 2. Carb or no carb. User preference. But I offer all joint sizes and orientations 10mm, 14mm, 18mm in both male and female. I can offer them with colored center sections like I used to do for the enano and arizer products I suppose.

Yes the deeper the load the more need there is to stir the load.

has a carb to make it hands free which is my personal preference

Just curious, how could a carb possibly make it hands-free?? You have to hold your finger on the carb hole... No? Carb just means you don't have to lift the vape or WPA to clear, yeah? Just clarifying!

The bulb is so you dont burn your fingers. If it’s just a straight shot it does get pretty warm without the cooling unit in place. And yes the og discs do indeed fit.

Yeah I was thinking you could have it be a straight tube, since the bulb is just for the carb hole, and then you can put anything around it, a ring or color dots (like you did on my 18-18 WPA in the past)

Oh, yeah exactly, those rings around a straight tube, instead of the bulb when it doesn't have a carb, these look so great!!

I am going to message you right now to place an order for mine (also going to follow you on IG under my different account name there) thanks!! :D

what’s the tube dia. on a TM stem?

TM stems are 16 mm OD

As I am in Australia, postage may be prohibitive. That said I do like the look of the smaller bulbed versions as @Shit Snacks mentioned, I not only like the look but the form as well as they might fit into one of my plastic test tubes for iso washing.
The new WPA by @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd could be 'hands-free' when used on a j-hook as the hole would be where your thumb lands,

I think I would still opt for the carbless version though as I use a cloudbuddy with my thumb as the stopper when on a j-hook, it just sits nicely in the hand (I suspect the new WPA to do similar).
It is great that you offer both though @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd

Oh those are not smaller bulbs, they are glass rings around the glass tube btw carb has bulb

Yeah that makes sense, one-handed, not exactly hands-free, was all I was trying to clarify, unless I was missing something? Agreed they look great and it's awesome to offer both because I think they both would be useful depends on the person

Lmao ok you got me on the hands free comment. I think I was a little stoned. What I meant by it is you don’t have to pull the vape off your piece to clear it. So not hands free per se but, u get where I was going with it. 😂🤣😂

@Shit Snacks clarification is good. some of these guys don’t know me or my gongs from days long past.

@LesPlenty I just shipped a batch of them international today bud.

any update on the customer service warranty of the CU?

It seems the top cap is not covered under warranty, see pages 20 & 21 of the user manual.
They sell the entire top cap for $35.00, but that includes the MP and intercooler, which I don’t need, nor asked for. As far as I know, you can’t just buy the top cap shell, by itself.

So far after many emails, they can’t seem to make a simple decision, so I’m still waiting for the Grand Jury to get back to me.
They would be in their right to deny me, as per the warranty language, but if any others ever come forward here or other vape sites I follow, with the same issue of the inner cap “material” CRACKING, I will make it far more public, as then it would mean it’s a design or material FAILURE. Otherwise, maybe I’m the only one, and just bad luck.

To be continued……

Well I hope they do you good and supply you with a replacement part. There is a heat problem with the CU and I suspect they thought the same. It would be no problem for them to offer the CU shell as they do the V3Pro OG mp for cheap(why you would want one as the magnets fall out), that is the solution. The CU works too good in that heat from bowl is captured with no venting, so you get cool vapor @ mp, but the shell gets damn hot. I knew from the 1st bowl that a skin was required at least for the top. I’m sure they are going to get a suggestion from someone here to add the CU shell to their list of nice cheap spare parts, I’d be happy with that. :2c:

Mine cracked also
I dont know how to post the pic.....why cant I just copy a jpeg to the post?

Make a claim like I did, or they will never know. The more reports, will effect their future policy, or fix the issue.

In their correspondence with me, they claim they don’t use PLASTIC, in the cap, I had used the term generically, as that’s what it looks like, but of course there are many types of materials that look like plastic, but are made for specific applications.

Using the SS load chamber with pods, the HEAT is right next to this “material”, and while I never have to go much higher then 360-380f, it’s still very HOT, and perhaps what ever this may be, it’s not able to take even moderately high temperatures on my device. Or maybe a bad batch of such material.

Point is, a vape device that is listed as $180.00 on their site, should not have this issue, regardless of the warranty language. And customers coming forward with HELPFUL information on a new model, should be taken care of, and quickly. My time is actually worth something to me.
