Welp, I'll know how good this one performs and if it's a good worthwhile vape or if there's any issues against it; either or... I will know soon enough, since I just paid for one last night from a rep for the manufacturer... Been hearing good things about it from some, and with the good classics from the company's past, I'm hoping this turns out to surprise (and maybe even impress) me.... By the way; you guys have been talking about a wpa, but mentioning it as if you don't know about any details, or specifics, so figured I'd share this with you guys:

Anyways... I shall be joining in on the fun soon. Talk to you guys then!!! ☺️

If It just recieve small issues fixes doesnt mind 👍
i Will try glow caps on the V3
Is the Glow's caps fit the V3Pro?

A head up about the gap issue, I talk with an engineer and saw a diagram, I can confirm nothing can go further through the gap, building construction avoid that issue to happen! Good new, isn't it?
Something amazing happened with the v3p the other night. My partner, who doesn't really partake because they are very sensitive to vapor/smoke and have tiny lungs, used the v3p with no trouble. This is someone who liked the mflb because you can take tiny sips, and has trouble with pretty much every other vape.

They were having a hard day, and as I walked by I held the v3p with mouthpiece toward them. To my surprise, they took two huge rips with zero coughing or discomfort.

I'd been blowing clouds at 215C before (and after), so I know it was hot and ready. That cooling MP really does work!
That's great, it's true many peoples don't like vaping cause they tend to cough, the V3Pro is so smooth it will convert these peoples.
Because of the MP square shap, doesn’t look like this will support a WPA, unless they come out with a swappable top MP, like the little Ambit.

The shape does not matter at all (check the latest full oven healthy rips models), a magnetic full oven WPA is being developed...the Fury2 WPA works fine but reduces the load size a lot,
View attachment 13250

One fits snug, the other is a bit loose, the loose-fitting one lets more airflow thru and after pulling as hard as I could on the twins at the max temp I managed a bit of char (loose fit on the right) after a 4 minute sesh,

So more than enough power to blow huge clouds...hopefully I can drop to one at a time once the proper WPA is released.
Dual hits wow, you are so... creative ;) thank you for all this pictures, you rock!
Love double trouble.
Me too :)
Wow you have two!

I'm fully in for a magnetic gong adapter, as long as it's glass and not plastic. i guess plastic would be ok too, if the core was glass. For now, the normal mouthpiece is so cool I have zero desire to hook it up to glass!
I understand you don't want to get plastic in the incoming wpa but I believe it may be difficult to avoid that material since how the unit is designed although there will be no contact of the vapor with the plastic.
Now that I am getting the hang of the unit I will be able to share/demo the unit with friends as we both use them...I am sure that they will say 'get me one' as they usually do.
After speaking to the marketing team at TopGreen about the V3 WPA the second unit was kindly sent to me from the Chinese warehouse as a review unit even though I had already purchased my own from an Aussie seller...nice guys for sure as I always get a spare of vapes I do not want to go without!
Yes, I put your name on the top of the list even if you already bought one, you are so kind to post so many nice pictures in this thread but in our Ace's thread and Qomo's thread as well, we appreciate your efforts to spread the word, thank you!
Just wanted to pop in and say I managed to get a V3 Pro direct from TopGreen and it arrived yesterday. I have to say that so far my expectations of a 100 dollar range full convection vape have been blown out of the water. Sure it doesn't hit as hard as some other convection vapes that cost almost 3 times as much (alluding to the one made in Finland but trying to avoid making comparisons and naming other companies here). For what it is, the V3 Pro certainly delivers. I feel like we are going to be seeing a lot more affordable convection in the future because TopGreen is on to something big being able to deliver quality convection vapor at this price point. I absolutely cannot wait for a WPA but I think I'm going to try and get creative in the meantime.
You are a lucky guy, although I don't think they will do direct sales again, I asked if it was possible cause many guys from USA are contacting me but they prefer peoples wait for a retailer to stock the device. The best would be to suggest your retailer to sell the device ;)
Been trying to get a dosing cap workaround, this came close but was just a tiny bit too long, pretty sure something like this would work fine,

I am not usually a capsule guy myself but these S/S examples that come with another vape work well because they can still hold a good amount of herb and I know many others are interested in caps so a shorter version of this might work OK.
I think the other capsule with only holes in the bottom will work better but I may be wrong, nice trick you found here, I'll try with a short capsules I have from another vape and report later.
This wouldn't work very well as a convection capsule. The path of least resistance would be the holes closest to the mouthpiece, bypassing most/all of the herb in the chamber.
Your are probably right about the first capsule he posted but I believe it may work very well with the second capsules setting @LesPlenty posted, hot air can't go anywhere but through the bottom holes and through the load.
Maybe a basket screen that size, ala minivap.
Not sure a full basket screen would work but one with full stainless steel walls and a screen on the bottom would work better cause hot air can't bypass the load.

I recently received this email from DHL after attempting to purchase the XMAX V3 Pro, from VapeMeet, a vape retailer in Canada.

The vendor, VapeMeet has been less than effective in assisting me with this problem. They say my purchase is currently at the DHL Hub in Cincinnati, and DHL says my purchase has already been send back to VapeMeet in Canada. Arrrrgggghhhh! Keep in mind that at one point my purchase had cleared Customs and was only 20 minutes from my home, on the delivery date, and THEN they recalled it from the DHL truck!

I've been phoning both entities repeatedly trying to resolve this issue but to no avail.. Any suggestions?

In the meantime, i would recommend that my fellow FCers should be extra careful about importing vapes from outside the country, as those retailers are likely to use DHL in their shipping to the U.S.A.!

Any help is muchly appreciated!

FF
Wow that sucks, I'll inform my staff about the issue you encountered, I hope we can help you or others future customers contacting DHL to clarify. Thank you for sharing.

That is good news as the one above by @chillmike linked would be disappointing, no need for all the extra cleaning of the native CU to use a wpa would be much better and less restrictive.
In fact I have doubts and removed the sentence you quoted... the one @chillmike was so kind to post isn't exactly the one you are waiting for... . Do you suggest the vaporpath in the WPA to be direct? I understand that since the water is here to smoothen the vapor so no need for an extra cooling accessorie (and the extra cleaning involved, like you said). I'll report your feedback about the wpa in the video.

Something ike this with magnets in the plastic to hold it to the oven,
1632391426322.png
Or this (Boundless went this way when too many ham fisted users would rip the vape off the bong and leave the magnetic version wpa behind leaving a mess),

I get that its easier and cheaper to yolo a silicone cap for the device, but this is a miss. Unless in the future they just include it for free with the device.

I was thinking a plastic cap that had the magnets and stuff but a hole in the middle for a 14mm stem to slide in. This would open up the device for aftermarket modding of whatever stem you could find that fits.

The obviously CG vapor in the on demand video is funny, and I see the on demand feature as a huge selling point for potential customers on the internet. I'll be interested for those people to buy it and get their feedback on how it matches their expectations. Personally, I've forced myself to only use the on demand mode this week.

My experience with it is that I can get two good clouds off a full load at 215, on two separate single rip instances. After that I get nothing, even if I bump to 220, and the ABV is light. Session mode can get it darker and I feel like I get more out of the load. It's annoying, but I could be misinterpreting things.

I’ve had the V3PRO for a couple of weeks and did a lot of experimentation and modifications to get it to where I like it. I don’t vape much herb lately, using herb as a medium to vape hash and kief. I have always been on a search for the holy grail of the best device that vapes hash and I’ve tried many. My 1st vape was V2Pro which I still use and it wasn’t very good, but got me into water pieces because it was so hot.

‘The V3PRO has advanced very far from the V2Pro and for the money the best low priced vape. It has pretty good taste and is a lot like the HR Rogue, but with smaller bowl. The Rogue is my holy grail for hash next to a Dynavap.

‘I modified mine using silicone adapter from the Starry bubbler adapter with a rubber band to secure it better and placing a Hulu XL nipple stem in the adapter and later with a 14mm wpa also from the Starry old wpa. I also put wide rubber band over the air intake holes so I can adjust air flow which is way too much for my liking. I’ve never used a small device with so much air flow as the sound is the loudest I’ve heard that gets dampened when I restrict with the rubber band. After a couple of knock overs I came up with the Arizer Air stand for it with another rubber band to prevent it from wobbling as the fit is loose in the stand. The Sneaky Pete rubber stand also works very good and stays on the devic where the Air stand remains on the desk and you take it out to use.

Overall a great device especially with the replacement battery so it lasts longer than a built in battery.

I placed an order for the vaporizer and the mesh pods but apparently they were out of stock. They gave me the money back for the capsules but they added a normal one. It does not fit, it is very big

I'm glad to read that there are no problems even if debris gets on the sides 👌 I'll try to clean it with a pin.

I think that, for those who want, you can put both a mesh at the bottom of the bowl and another mesh inside the metal screen of the mouthpiece to keep the vape cleaner. Although the second one may retain steam.

When i use the on demand Mode i start on 185, then 190-195-205-215/220...and i get dark Brown abv. It is not darker than the dynavap abv fully extracted, but It is dark. And i get 8 hit (more or less, i feel i need more skill on convection)

Don't want this to get missed. Thanks for the review and thoughts. I'm actually very impressed with your forest of modified mostly convection portables! What did you use to make the restriction band?

How tight do you pack it? Are you doing those on demand hits back to back, or once in a while?
I pack It loose. If i push it a bit It is half bowl. But packing looser and stirring is the way. I try to pack it in a "conduction style" tight and It seems to work worse
Back to back seems to work faster (shorter draws and more conduction) but i use to draw It every 3/4 minutes, so the device get cold, then longer draws

Can anyone who's tried both compare this to the Rogue? Looks like I can get one shipped from Europe, but I couldn't find a US seller. Can the v3 be ordered directly, perhaps with a group buy (only if that's allowed to mention on FC couldn't find it in the rules) ?

That's okay to do a group buy, anyone interested can message you to coordinate!

And it should be pretty different from the rogue, that is hybrid session device, with a larger bowl. This is pure convection with smaller bowl and on demand abilities.

The V3PRO is like the little brother to the Rogue, they are very similar, both full convection, but the bigger bowl in the Rogue with more herb to extract vapor from give fuller more dense draws. They both have powerful heaters which allow you to fully extract pretty quick if you turn up the temp, 3 to 4 minutes usually does the job for both. Both have great taste at low temps around 350F with the edge going to the Rogue because more product to work with. I love my Rogue it’s the Holy Grail, but next year it will probably be thrown in the recycle bin when the battery dies where I’ll just keep changing out 18650s in the V3PRO.

That is the first time I have seen someone trying to restrict airflow in a vape...easier to just draw slower plus I like to pull really hard and fast toward the end of a sesh to get an even roast without having to stir...but as long as you enjoy it, that is all that matters.
I have actually made the airflow a bit freer by swapping the disc filter in the CU to a @DDave VapCap Ti screen,

Thanks for the comparison!! Looks like we have similar collections...my daily go to is the rogue with mvs stem. So the big question remains for USA enthusiasts: where do we get the v3 pro? Anyone, feel free to DM me the secret recipe for ordering it! Preferably not from international with the word Vape on the package as I want it to arrive

I think you’ll like the V3PRO if you’re a fan of the Rogue. I usually use glass stems in my Rogue because Hash and Kief make make such a mess, but enjoy low temp sipping herb with the Stingers.

I read in some earlier posts asking about fury2 capsules so I found my fury2 dosing capsule fits perfectly and works pretty good with herb better than I would have thought. I was actually looking for the older full mesh screen ones which I never found, but found my ceramic screens which fit for the mp screen need to try it for awhile.

PPN if you’re out there, where’s the FogPro and why couldn’t they make a wpa for the 3VPro that’s like the new Starry one which rocks instead they’re coming out a silicone sock much like what I made though mine uses a glass joint.

^^^ Nice! Really love all the mods and tricks this thread already has. You don't worry about the fury 2 caps getting stuck?

O_O This?! That's so awesome. I did not know this existed and it's pretty much my dream WPA option for the v3Pro. Simple, easy to clean, effective, elegant. [edit: I see you have to use the silicone sleeve with this and sometimes it comes off. So maybe that's not the perfect option either.]

TBF I'm not really rushed to get a wpa since the v3pro cooling mp works so well on it's own. I never get a hot or uncomfortable hit. But I would buy one. I'd also like a silicone sleeve or mouthpiece cover/cap for on the go.

Thanks @Petetbay for the airflow control ring mod suggestion! I had a white silicone ring here I used for keeping dotleaf ovens closed. It's a perfect size and fit, and I don't think it makes the device ugly at all.
lAv8ToL.jpg

Of course, you don't NEED this ring for the v3pro to rip. It's great without, and I've gotten amazing results from drawing slow or feathering the air ports. What it does do is let you play with a locked in draw rate. Even more, I kinda think it turbocharges the device. I've actually be using and enjoying on demand mode because of it.

I can even run lower temps and get excellent vapor production!

No not that tight, drop out easy when turning it over.

Much like the Rogue I have never used the stock mp, though I’d say the 3VPro mp cooling looks pretty ingenious and effective. I end up running max temp for hash and sessions can be up to 10 minutes so I try to have enough cooling to reduce heat, the Hulu stem can be very hot to the touch where it connects to the mp so the mp cooling is pretty much overwhelmed at these times.
