Not sure if you're aware -- if you start at 160 then boost twice and take draw at 200, you can double click to return to base 160. Maybe that's what you meant in your last sentence? But I don't see need for revision about this issue. (wish it would haptic warn us about dropping down from boost though)
Yeah I get that, at the moment I have temps at 160 175 and 210, and I'm now starting on 160 and vaping all the rest at 175. OR, I am experimenting with short duration high temp so I want to start at 210 for 10 seconds then double click back to 160 and keep going while it's cooling down to 160 then I'll switch off.
Now at the moment if I want to begin at 200, I'll have to start then double click twice. It's not really a big deal, but I'd prefer the vape to start already at 200, then I can just double tap to go to 160, or if I want to start at 160 then I'll start the vape and double tap. It's a very small deal, but at the moment I cannot start at a higher temp and then 'boost' down. I should be able to set any temp.
I can see their logic, they are thinking but if you start at 200 then switch to 160, you won't know when what temperature it's actually at. You know S and B, I can handle that, I really can. So it would be useful to be able to either set negative offsets for the two boost buttons, OR be able to dial in the two boost temps directly, whatever you want. So say for example you wanted to start at 210, then boost to 150 then 175. At the moment you cannot do that but there's no reason why it could not be a further firmware update.
The smallness of this request is a testament to how much they got right.
Honestly, the orange lock button never bothered me, did it for YOU!
You know it's better.
