Hello FC community, I have now made the VHW portable and with a magnetic tray. Now you have the ability to take this VHW anywhere powered by a 140 watt power bank with hours of vaping without having to plug in. Also comes with a 24 volt adapter if you want to plug in.

How are you attaching the leads of the halogen bulb? Is it a socket?

Just received the DDave MegAdapter so of course I gave it a quick spin with the VHW.

This is the best bowl I've found so far although the Connoisseur bowl is pretty sweet too.

Perfect distance from the flower for big or small bowls. The flavor just lasts forever and the ABV comes out nice and even due to the large surface area. I like the wide midsection where the screen is situated.

Hi Vaperooni mine arrived thanks I'm loving it just 1 thing probably my dumb arse not understanding but on the power supply there is a multi variable tuner what should it be set to and is there an appropriate setting to for example 160C currently its on 12.5 as I thought it might just be straight dc voltage Thanks :) and apart from that I love it

Hello @R1ng0 , I would set the adapter between 9 volts to 11 volts on the adapter depending on the size of the injector bowl. 12.5 is all the way up on the light dimmer. I only set it at 12.5 to warm up the VHW, Then back it down to 9 volts to 11 volts AC/DC. 9 volts is about 160 C, Cheers!

are their ruby balls or a ruby insert in the injector?. where do you ship from, what market? i wish there was a teardown of the making of the least expensive unit. will these units work with j-hooks or are they too heavy. i'm new to this sub and to this unit. need more build info and pricing

There are 14 rubies over the RoHS compliance 20 watt halogen bulb. The insulated wires that are connected to the halogen bulb connector are replaced with medical grade Stainless steel wire. The 18mm borocilicate heater cover are placed in a cork with a heat sheild around the base of the 18mm borocilicate heater cover. The cork is held in by friction rather than toxic glue. This way you change the halogen bulb easily. Everything I use to build my vaporizers are free from toxins and are RoHS compliance. I have a Halogen Vaporizer listed in FC classifieds if interested in pricing and have any questions. And I ship from the USA. I can custom build one that is light enough to use with a j-hook.

Send back to me and I will repair and send back to you good as new free of charge. As long as the devise is repairable. I will exchange only, No returns. If you want something custom built, I can put the 18mm heater cover into a log of your choice. Depending on what type of wood and the measurements. I usually use a 4" in height and 2" in diameter.

Hi Vaporooni, can you explain a little more how you use the PD power bank? What are the cords you need to connect to the Halo log? And what setting do you need to use on the portable device? Do you set voltage on the device?

Thanks @Vaporooni, looks good! Is there any special reason why you cant just use the VVPS that you normally supply with the kit instead of the dimmer dial? seems like youd get better control of the voltage if you just stuck to that.

Edit: Ohh wait, the dial is just more portable right?

Yes the dial is for portability. And the adapter is plug in only. The power bank battery charge will last for days and will alow you to go any where like a wireless phone. @Ed's TnT vape store has them available. https://edstnt.com/products/woodscents-traveling-light-controller
