As i`ve never read anything like that on FC, i wonder if he got a faulty unit or simply used the Vapman completely wrong? I guess this won`t be the Case with the Mica shield?

Honestly I've used mine (prototype) quite roughly since I've had it and I've never see that. I've had a crack on the wood really early but that's it. (And it's not expanding).

For the record, with the ruby it runs hotter than usual : require significantly more heat and stay hotter for a longer period of time. And even with the ruby and extra heat, nothing like that.

I wonder what torch was used with this one...

I guess it looks a little more dramatic in that picture as the bowl is missing. I thought some traces around the nozzles are rather normal - why shouldn't that happen as they obviously get hot? Mine shows something similar. I've only used a single torch, heated it a little past the click some times but nothing crazy aside from that.


After the first honeymoon days I also felt a little underwhelmed when I discovered that some gold had flaked off, or was never present (?) on (and around?) the little ring holding the pin.

As I've read that the plated gold just serves an aesthetic function I shouldn't mind that much, but yeah...

My "replacement" station has arrived! It's amazing how quickly it was shipped and received from the moment I pressed the trigger...
It always amazes me with Vapman!! Kudos for that!

It's going to go into intensive testing mode soon!
It's a factory second. But the wood is in better condition than my pre-order unit; it came in a great cardboard box. And the color settings have been adjusted (blue vs. red).
In short, aside from a few minor cosmetic flaws on the aluminum part, and the button not being perfectly seated, overall the experience is better than the pre-order model!!! Cool!

Finally, I ordered the new mouthpiece... walnut, of course! When I saw it, I thought, "Oh... that's a shame, it didn't match the color perfectly with the walnut of the Vapman Click..."
I put it down on the Vapman click and my heart melted, and I thought, "Oh, that's so cute... the contrast is really nice."
Haha, I surprised myself. It was funny!

Greetings, Master Rene hung on to his prototypes...but, there are some collectors with very primitive Vapman's that I have seen. As far as I know...I have the only Vapman Museum. I have all the Vapman's ever created minus about three and many Vapman that are rare...the earliest Vapman are with INHALE....

Enjoy your Vapman and do not stop on just one...you have to own many and rotate them daily. Every one is different...CHEERS!

PS Moments like this...I wish Vapman had a book...there is so much history with this vape. There should be a photo book to go over the 20 years.
