Hey all,

I have a vapman classic for a few years and love the microdose side and the ritual it gives me.

I am thinking of buying one, but I'm not sure which one I should get.

The click is cheaper than the 2.0, and the bigger bowl looks easier to clean, but can you still microdose well with it? With the classic, I mostly have a full bowl or a little less.

The microdose side is really important for me because I have a very low tolerance.
Greetings,

The Vapman Click and OG do the job...if you are a microdoser like I am....there is NOTHING LIKE IT....the high you get is unique and sensational..

WE NEED AN ADAPTER FOR THE STATION for the CLICK....PLEASE PLEASE!

Mine are mainly Swiss or Italian OGs. I don’t have a clock yet.
It needs a proper adapter or something, but the Click'll work on the station, it's just fiddly to seat and you have to restart the timer sometimes to finish your session. But it relies on the clicks instead of the lighting system. It even has an advantage or two; for one you can leave your VM on the stand after it clicks and it will continue to heat as long as you like within the shutoff timer's window. I'm used to seating mine so I use them with the station <50% of the time. Not that it doesn't need fixed, but it's possible to use the Click with the station in the meantime.

I thought the station had some sort of temp control to avoid overheating? Are you saying you can “ Heat past the click” like the Dynavap crowd says?

I find it impossible because it does not sit properly in the heating chamber. You do have to fidget with it...it was not built for the Click...which is whack because the Station is the main source of heat for some people...some do not use a torch.

Could this not be an easy fix????? An adapter is needed PRONTO...gosh, I beg you Michael and David.

Not exactly but sorta; when the stand hits the preset temperature, it just maintains that temp while the light is yellow. When the Vapman is set on the stand, an electric eye sees it and tells the computer to start calculating how much heat the pan needs to reach the preset temp, and then heats it for that long. When it's heated to the proper temp, the light turns green and the heater turns off and begins cooling again. But the Click sits higher than the OGs, out of range of the sensor. Because the station never 'sees' the Click sitting on it, it doesn't know that the Click has been heated to temp, so it just keeps maintaining the preset temp until the station times out (this timeout/shutdown is the station's protection from overheating and comes after 5 minutes of apparent inactivity). You know when the Vapman Click is at temp not by the lights--which don't work in this case--but by the clicks. So, with the Click and Station you can heat past the clicks, just like a DV.

You are right and I agree. I got used to doing it but it's surely not for everyone and it must be especially tricky for people with motor or grip issues. I just don't want to discourage people from trying a Click or the Station as long as they understand that it's a fiddly combo--I get a lot of enjoyment out of them together even if it's not ideal.
