I totally agree, I was trying to clarify his terms while keeping him oriented, but you are correct. The OGs are all the Swiss Vapmans, the V1 Italian is similar except for the rod/pan placement, the V2 Italians are the same but with the lined midsection and more adjustable air intake, and the Click keeps that and adds the larger pan and audible indicators. As far as I know the only differences among the OG Swiss Vapmans are how/where they're branded (along with occasional special ones like the Endless Knot).
The OG is the original Rene Balli creation...and the rest come with David and Michael...I hope I am correct...so, OG-V1-V2-CLICK. The OG is not created any longer so, if you get a chance to buy one, please do...they are amazing.

Greetings, I am not sure if everyone here knows of Master Rene Balli who is the creator and founder of Vapman. He released Vapman to Michael and David and they became the owners and new creators...but, Master Rene is still thriving and creating and is still around and vibrant. I speak to him often. He is still involved with Vapman, etc. You should go back and look at the original concept of the Vapman and how it evolved over the years...it is a beautiful history to this amazing Vapman. It is very rare to have a hand crafted vape...anyway, enjoy your Vapman!

But the Swiss Vapman has evolved a bit recently, when René thought about modifying the Vapman to easily remove the bowl, thus making its manufacturing easier for MetD. He modified the angle of the slope towards the bowl. And the Vapmans without mica that he produces now have the new slope. There is also much less carbonization because there is more space.

Well said again ..

I keep looking at this photo. I love this photo on so many different levels. It takes me on some kind of a journey...like it was part of an old treasure. I love how its been through life. If that Vapman could tell a story...I bet it would just be fabulous. That Vapman will last longer than all of us...it has an eternal beauty. This is probably my favorite Vapman photo...that could be a great photo for a book.

I was about to buy it, but thanks to your tip, I don't need it now. Thank you very much.
Back in the day...when you purchased an OG there would come this small kit of screws, springs, an extra screen, a tiny brush, and a tiny blue screwdriver! They also provided a longer silver screwdriver with the bundled Vapman in a large wooden gift box. How very beautiful...it is wonderful to see the evolution of the Vapman...how David and Michael are expanding the horizon. The love behind this vape is quite evident. The owners say it all.

We now have the cases...wooden and soft cases. The Station continues...We have the CLICK...and lots and lots more to come.

I am partial to pure OG's....the original Vapman made by Master Rene...and in a perfect world a glass mouth piece or wood mouth pieces made by Edtnt or Rogue...
Thx for all the Info guys. I`ll go with the V1 pure then. And add a glass mouthpiece to that.
This OG / V1 / V2 classification is confusing.
Swiss OG have a different geometry than all the subsequent iterations.
Couldn't we all agree on the first Italians being the V1 ? And the Swiss being the OG ?
Thx for clarifying. I`ll use this terminology from now on.

Every now and then, Master Rene makes a commissioned batch. It is a rare occurrence.

How do you hold the lighter when you heating vapman?
I use two different methods depending on where I am. When I’m outside, I usually ignite and flame-lock the lighter, then hold it between my thumb and first two fingers, with the tank base almost resting against the base of my index finger. This grip gives me maximum control over the flame. I move the flame away to inhale, then bring it back to reheat. This method works well even in gusty wind and saves me from having to relight it constantly—which I find a bit fiddly, especially in very cold weather.

I just found this review about the vapman click. The author states that on his Vapman Click, 2 of the 3 "pressings" are loose and the tubes are rattling. He also shows athis picture where the tubes burned into the wood.

As i`ve never read anything like that on FC, i wonder if he got a faulty unit or simply used the Vapman completely wrong? I guess this won`t be the Case with the Mica shield?
