Gorgeous!Second Father's day in a row with a Vapman present from my wife and son. This year it's an Ebony Swiss made Pure from René (thanks my friend) ... a little Black Sambucca to go with my Espresso Crema Italian Olivewood. Doing some cookies "Hawaiian Rain" for breakfast ...
Olive and Kotibe ones are here:Hi people,
I've owned a basic vapman for about 12 years (I guess) It’s been a beautiful tool and I love it dearly. It is however very, very well worn and I’d like to get another so this one can be retired. I’ve seen the 2.0 and I’m really not into it. I really want a basic (no mica) and ideally the same as my old one.
I noticed people in the thread mention Rene, is he still making these? Is there a way to contact him?
Otherwise anyone know of anywhere/anyone who might have one for sale?
My last option would be grab a newish classic and remove the mica, is this possible? How is the mica attached? Or ofc find a “pure” for sale but I would rather have as close to my original as possible.
Thanks in advance everyone, this vaporiser will always have a place in my heart. It’s the most beautiful unit I’ve ever used for certain. Ritualistic. Holy.

Vapman Pure Unit w/ Mouthpiece Only for Vapman by Inhale
Vapman's ingenious operating principle makes it a reference product in its class. The sophisticated pan shape allows an even heat distribution while the built-in air nozzles provide hot fresh air supply and avoid gas inhalation. This results in an unsurpassed vaporization experience. Handling...vgoodiez.com

BTW this is not possible. If you remove the mica you'll need to put tiny washers of mica under the aluminium clip that hold the tubes. This is suboptimal to me.My last option would be grab a newish classic and remove the mica, is this possible? How is the mica attached? i have noticed that with my zebrano too … the extra metal makes senseMy Zebrano also runs noticeably hotter, but that might simply be due to the extra internal metal.
I can confirm that. It gets too hot, to be honest (but I must add: I take looong sessions, I'm a temp-stepper). Reason is probably both, the metal inlay + the wood specs (very hard wood without air-filled pores). I even burned my lip the other day on the new standard metal mouthpiece. Anyway, I think it is nice that they are all different. And for some reason my oval-shaped, mica-flaking, lip-burning Zebrano gets a lot of affection and is on the way to become my most used VapmanFyi my zebrano is hotter than my olive 2.0 so i think it’s more or less due to the wood itself (density maybe ?)
Thats a great combo. I used to want one so bad but every time I would look none were available and I was dead set on no torch at the time. The heater does look a little tall and it would be awesome to have a wood grain instead of the bold color. So I've had my station since Monday (yeah, fuck you UPS for not delivering on the Friday!).
Love it.
I can only assume @David and Michael are ensuring the units sent out are correctly aligned as mine seems spot on.
And my factory 2nd seems perfect tbh. A tiny blemish on the wood top at the back which to my eyes are a natural part of the wood. Besides, you can't see it as it's at the back.
It's very small (perfectly formed) and looks great sitting there. I can't see any join in the green metal sleeve. The switch at the back has a cool retro feel (although may be more prone to a break if knocked). The supplied cable has ample length (it's quite thick).
I'm using it at 4.5 to 5 depending on the flower humidity. First two pulls are very tasty. Subsequent pulls are more visible but the taste obviously starts to degrade slightly but still very pleasant. Very little popcorn taste tbh. I assume on my low setting it just doesn't cook enough for this. Anyway, I dump at this stage.
For my hash I increase the dial only a little. Maybe to 6. Great flavour. I find the mesh easier to clean with the station.
Going forward, I can see myself using the station almost always with flower. For hash, I suspect I may occasionally use the lighter as I can get more intense hits for that last blast before sleep. And obviously when out and about (waiting for the portable solution)!
So a big thumbs up for me. Well done vapman. A stylish (dare I say sexy) heating station that compliments the stylish vapman.
Is it expensive? Depends really. It's a niche product for a niche vape made in limited numbers for a niche group. So I don't think it's overly priced considering. Especially when a second with FC code is about €220. I've forgotten the cost already and consider it a fantastic compliment to the torch lighter.
Anyway, enough gushing and onto the pics....

in fact.... I like boxes but, this time, it's for the practical side...Now you need a nice wooden box to store them all in. ; )
I'm more intrigued with the bugout aspects...hadn't considered it. I would include a powercell/solar panel setup for it. ; )All that organisation is impressive ! And I do get the ‘kids growing up’ part, this side of things makes me really question a lot ^^

This all has to go in a bag...
my children are growing up and I don't want them to see the steam museum every day... or to be blamed for it one day.
and then, I have a survivalist side, so I needed an emergency escape bag for my vaporizers...
the result is promising!
