Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Shrike

Flower Potted, Maxed, & Rio'd.
Though I hated to sell my OG Cloud, the reactions from synche are exactly what I was hoping to see from someone new to the Cloud. This gives me a very small sense of what it must be like to be SM and the crew when they read the reactions from new purchasers of their product(s)!:rockon:

Glad it's still performing great for ya, synche! Makes me feel even better about parting with it...

Wire looks different from the ones I have seen, possibly a different year or minor change? Looks like fiberglass coating where as the ones I have seen were straight white wire

EDIT: I see what happened. Added the first part of the wire (fiberglass) looks different than the three I have seen but the other wire looks identical. $55 is pretty high for this part when they were selling the whole unit for $130 6 months ago

Hey everyone.

I've been away for a long time now, I haven't been able to vape much at all as I feel it interferes too much with my school life currently.

I have a old cloud that stopped working from along ago, I also have a evo from the start up campaign.

Could anyone tell me what my options are for my old cloud ? I'll email the vapexhale team soon, just kind of curious. If I could, I would much prefer some cash reimbursement than store credit as I don't have any use for more gear. I doubt anyone would want to purchase my old broken cloud, I think it had the problem where the wires came loose.

Not sure why I didn't think of this sooner...that black/orange ring that forms on the VXN after some use, tore a small piece of the abrasive side of an SOS scrubber pad and a wood stir stick....cleans it up so much better.

You will be offered $250 towards a EVO...that's it. Not $250 cash or store credit for other items. EVO Only!

Thanks Hicotane. Hopefully someone will want to purchase the new cloud evo I get, I am sure I'll find someone somewhere.

so this morning my og cloud was working just fine, i get back home and it won't heat up. i turn it on and it turns red, and then a minute or two later it starts flashing red and green. it was sitting next to a window and got a bit cold, but nothing crazy. is it dead? or have other people experienced this and been able to save it somehow?

Try putting the dial to noon and turning it off and on a few times. Mine flashes red if I turn it on if it's cold sometimes and that works for me. Hopefully you get it fixed.

It likely has died. They also won't fix the older models from what I've been told.

The original units had a few flaws, hopefully this this isn't the same for the Evo.

If the heater wire is the problem, there is a member on this board that has successfully repaired a few clouds.

Heater wire is my problem. Cloud+ has been sitting dead here for over a year now. I'd love to see it reincarnated. it only lasted 30 days... So I just PM @lazylathe ?
Me too, my heater wires came off as well...but alas, I am in the UK, so repair options are limited. I need to get mine fixed, I miss it :(

ok so where my cord connects to the unit is a bit jiggly, would this have to do with the heater wires? how do know that was the problem with yours? are these things fairly straight forward to repair? i don't know much, but my friend is pretty good with electronics and wiring, so anything he should know about fixing it?

No I dont believe a jiggly power cord has anything to do with the heater wires. The heater wires are connected from the circuit board to the ceramic heater. Power cord is connected to ground and the circuit board

I know alot of you worship your EVO's, but I long for the day that the OG Cloud will be resurrected. No disrespect, but I much prefer the metal casing (mine barely gets warm even on high temp), and I just prefer the bamboo and general style and durability of this thing. There weren't the issues with bamboos cracking, and heaters going haywire with this model, and I don't care for the VXnail whatsoever. I know i'm in the minority, but i'm happy to have my Cloud+ model still working incredibly, especially since it can be used inverted without those nasty chemically/solder smells/tastes. Ah well, once it goes I won't be replacing it with an EVO. I know it's lighter, but they also said that material actually costs more than the metal. I'm noticing with alot of things, sometimes newer isn't always better, but the EVO does have some advantages as well.

I just got my EVO, but I already can tell that I prefer it to my cloud +. It seems like the EVO extracts quicker and hits smoother than the cloud +. I can get my abv darker with the plus but I think the effects aren't as strong with the plus as they are with the EVO. I still need time for further testing! I like the lightness of the EVO. I don't worry about breaking my glass as much. Just my opinion so far.

hey all, I just have to commend the stoicity of all the fans of the cloud/evo! well done girls!

despite all the long years of failure to deliver a quality product... people keep the evo belief alive.

my local vape mob to their credit supplied me with equal value, non cloud replacement for my long gone dead cloud. its warranty had become somehow open ended.. which I don't remember agreeing to!

who knows how to spell E T H I C S?

does anybody from fuckcombustion have a pecuniary interest in vapexhale?

mod note: Not nice. Sarcasm not appreciated, warning point issued

:hmm:

As if VXH is a decades-old company? The "long years" would be about...3 or so? My Cloud hasn't stumbled once in that time and my EVO is equally as stout.

But I'm sorry yours had trouble.

Cheers!
