My old SN 61 is still working fine. Yes, it does tick sometimes, but I've never had a problem with the unit. I never even bothered to figure out what the EVO's improvements are. When these were getting ready to hit the market, the main competitor in many ways was Purple Days. VapeXhale was very radical then, and the anticipation for this vape was probably the largest ever for a vape (of course, there are so many more vapes now that the excitement is spread). Cheers.

VapeXhale Cloud, ESV for portable, Ceramic Zap on occasion, Solo just died

I got the craigslist cloud with 1 ELB. The ticker and WOW I like it a lot. I use it with my dab rig currently. Lots of fun

Every time I turn my Cloud+ on the 2 first bowls got a nasty taste....after taste improves a lot.

Same issue if I use whole cleaned elb's....

It's like I was vaping dust...I think it's coming from the bamboo so now I clog the upper part to avoid to collect dust in the bamboo....although I still get this nasty taste (but I don't use it a lot, maybe 4/5 bowls per week).

When I used it a lot as my daily driver I didn't got this issue....

This happened to my friends cloud+ too for a little while. He let it run at max temp for about half a day, let it go back down but the smell doesn't go away. We couldn't figure it out and let it sit on the side for a couple weeks... Fired it up again and smell went away. No idea what happened.

Guess this wasn't a very helpful post after all

Sending my EVO in for service for the 2nd time. But my OG ticker from the original pre-order is still going strong. That thing is a tank.

I just welcomed myself to the club :science:

I had an evo package from the indiegogo campaign, it was really good once they re-tweaked the firmware, but decided to sell it after the novelty wore off a bit. However I had an extra ht, this old evolver^ with the cool deadfoot stand, and I saved an elb because I always wanted to try an og cloud someday. Then I sold some glass, noticed the listing and took a shot, thanks again @IAmKrazy2:nod:!

This one ticks very quietly, and it really rips:ko: It hits well at high noon, I'll have to spend some quality time with it to dial in my perfect sweet spot but what can I say I'm very pleased. I will also have to read up some more on this model but the top of this page is a great introduction! This one seems to be an excellent specimen and I hope it lasts forever:D One difference from the evo is I used to put it on my knee to hit it with this ht, but with this og model the bamboo is much more exposed down below so it clogs it up on my knee and won't hit. Old habits die hard I guess 'cause I keep doing it, going wtf over and over :lol:
