Who is the retailer on dhgate that everyone here recommends for the D020?
did you buy the whip adapter from vapexhale shop? 30 bucks there
if the d020 via whip is best you'd say, wouldn't it be the same as getting a mobius clone with whip?

Got question for ya guys what should I get firefly2 or vapexhale evo. I had Evo awhile ago and sold it was first few came out
evo all the way. however for some reason the firefly 2 is rated really high on vapecritic or vapefiend.. i forget which.
they're also in two different markets, evo is desktop while firefly2 is for portable.
evo gives you a lot of options for different water attachments, firefly does not.
Jury is still out on the Firefly 2. Since you are comparing the two assuming you would use it at home, and evo is the only choice. Firefly 2's only thing it does evo doesn't is that its portable.
I think you're best off getting an evo for home.
Also, noticed, clean glass seems more important than clean elbs in getting really easy draws. god it pulls so amazing when the glass is cleaN.

Never tried the 187 but I have tried the d020d and that is another awesome bubbler. My evo kit was a starter kit that I ordered around the holidays last year and yes, it did come with a whip. I prefer using the whip to inverted just to ease any stress on the 18 mm joint

I'm starting to get tired with the whistling.
I read attaching some medical gauze to the bottom of the bamboo works to stop the sound without restricting air-flow.
I'd like to try this out, but i'm fussing over weather the cotton gauze has been treated; like bleached, or left-overs from manufacture - they're designed for medical use, but not breathing through e.t.c
Am i just being obsessive?

I find it useful too, but sometimes i just want to hit it harder and i know the whistle will be there. It's pretty loud, people can hear it in the next room.

There's no way to tell before purchasing, and they make it very clear on their site that they won't accept returns on factory seconds. So it's a $100 gamble.

Selling "Factory Seconds" doesn't mean a "random reject." It's not exactly a gamble. It should be something that functions but is somehow flawed aesthetically or has a slight wobble on the joint, apparently. The parameters for what is acceptable are expanded, not discarded entirely. If it is flawed so badly that function is compromised then I think an exchange would still be in order. I think one FC member, at least, was satisfied with a reduced Factory Second Symbiartic HT.
