Hi folks.
It's been a while (9 months).
As some of you know, I've been dealing with a series of health issues, had my hands full. But I beat the cancer and the other stuff is slowly improving. Thank god for my EVO and potent CBD's.
I'm pleased to see old friends still here on the thread, especially of course those of us who go back to the Cloud beginning. So many new folks, though! I take that as a sign that the EVO is still holding its own in the market.
Since the above is, strictly speaking, off topic - and I don't want to be moderator spanked - I'll add to this post something I discovered about cleaning the ELB's that relates to recent discussion here about that:
Test tube brushes have been suggested. I'm using these:

You get 10 for a ~$10, will last forever.
I don't like the 6" handle (I bend it in two), but what I was looking for was 12mm (~1/2") stiff bristles. For a long time I used an in/out motion to clean, which worked OK but still left small particles in the ELB pores. Then I stumbled onto this method: Insert brush holding ELB near bottom, rotate the ELB just a little bit until you feel the tips of the bristles sticking through the ELB pores. Use this motion rotating the ELB all around, removing and reinserting the brush at a new point in the ELB - takes less than a minute. You'll find the ELB is clean, save perhaps for a few remaining particles that can be removed with a quick blow. Eventually there will be resin build-up that needs to be removed with ISO, but I am finding that I need ISO cleaning much less; probably only a quarter as often as I did before or even less.
Good to be back with the gang.
