Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

It's been about 3 months since I first splurged on the EVO. Awesome investment. I gave up video games and purchased this vape instead.

I have a digital Cano, which was my first high end vape. This is a different experience. It's pretty much the same as taking the whole Cano bag at once. The hits are thicker, because you aren't filling up that same volume of air contained in a typical bag.

I have yet to hit mine through a hydratube, but the vape has already become a favorite amongst those close to me, even with the standard mouthpiece.

What's really peculiar about this vape is the efficiency. Sometimes I think the unit functions better with a tiny pack, just covering the bottom screen, like we're talking smaller than an M&M candy.

If you pack a bowl that's the size of a peanut M&M, you're going to get a fat draw.

I had to protect my investment, so I made a custom case for it. I measured the EVO unit with calipers, drew the layout in Illustrator, sent the file to a CNC wood router and it cut the pieces out. The four dots in a + sign configuration are the indexing holes which hold the case together, plus they bring all of the pieces into alignment. The four stacked holes are for the ELBs. The case actually fits the unit so well, that the case breaks into two pieces so you can easily get the unit out.

The way I made the smallest top slot, the round part of the EVO top will "bottom out" before the top of the glass bamboo could actually smash against the case.

If I didn't explain that well enough, it's impossible for the top of the bamboo to make contact with the wooden case.

Overall, fantastic experience, fantastic vaporizer, best in it's class. Can't wait to get a hydra tube.

Whoever is over there tempering that borosilicate, they know what the fuck they're doing, because I have dropped the standard mouthpiece several times, and it's seemingly tough as nails. Hopefully the hydra tubes are of the same quality and durability.

What's up with VXL's support ticketing system ATM? If the fixed international models are so close now, I figured I'd better get around to logging a ticket for my melted EVO so I don't miss the first shipment, but after filling it out and clicking the "SEND EMAIL" button at the bottom, absolutely nothing happens. I've tried Firefox and IE. Both browsers show an error just above the "Your Name:" box that says "Liquid error: wrong argument type nil (expected Regexp)", so it appears somebody has misconfigured something, somewhere...

I've tried on several occasions for about a week now, and always get the same error, in both browsers. I asked in the international EVO thread a while back what was up, but VXL doesn't read that thread and nobody else had anything to say on the matter. Is it working for anybody?

Send an email to support@vapexhale.com, that should create a ticket automatically assuming it's just the webpage.

@Ricchini great pics and case. I love my evo as well, my hydrotube broke so when you get it be careful. Which judging from how you care or your evo, I'm sure you will

On the bright side,I bought a second evo through mass drop so I have one to give to a friend. And now I have a new hydrotube.

I'm hoping to get my HTs fixed: I sent one on Saturday to www.glassblowersdirect.com. To me, it appears to be an easy fix, but what do I know?

Yea that looks like an easy fix. Mine was a shower cap that broke at the bottom into a couple pieces with the female joint also breaking. They are opening a glass studio at a local head shop. Hoping to get some pieces fixed in a few months.

I broke 4 pieces in about 2 weeks. The necktie someone posted in here, a glycerine tube cooler, bubbler, and my shower hydrotube. Wasn't my month :)

The necktie and hydrotube broke the same way. Just got knocked over while attached to the stand and the torque on the joint where it meets the stand broke the piece.

What I love about the hydrofoot 2.0, a lot less chance to knock that over as opposed to the small stands. Moves the center of gravity a lot lower.

Thanks, @PoopMachine . I've had a devil of a time finding someplace to send it. They are supposed to contact me soon to declare it repairable (or not), and an amount of $ to send them. I have another HT I'd like to get repaired: Perhaps your friend could help.

Here is a picture of the damage. It is the female connector. I imagine if a glassblower could just replace the female 18 mm connector with a 18 mm F to 18mm F GonG adaptor.....

Common VapeXHale fix the support ticket system!

Send email doesn't work; you can go through hours writing your message, just to have the website give you the finger as you try to send it.

While you're at it VXH, improve the glass quality/strength!

Both of those breaks look suspiciously thin to me... :\

I swear my Limited Edition Hydratube broke in the exact same way. I did not think it was repairable but now I am wondering. Is your friend in Oregon by chance? I don't want to send it off to get repaired.

I'd be interested to hear what he might charge. Or, alternatively, he may have an idea to re-purpose it; perhaps it could it be attached permanently to a hydra foot 2.0 or sidecar of sorts, et al.

I sent a photo and request in to a Swagger email I found: who knows if it was even delivered. I just assumed they'd prefer to sell new one than repair old ones. No reply.

Something like that its probably not worth it. Repairing glass is pretty fascinating. Ive watched some stuff break right in front is eyes and he just grabs another pieces of glass and rebuilds the part that breaks. Its nuts.

I guess thats why even in its solid form. glass is considered a liquid,

I tried @Seek non heat soak method this morning. Much more flavor and smoother. It doubled the amount of hits per ELB yielding about 6 hits instead of 2 or 3.

I will be doing this much more.

Sooooo I've been ready to order my EVO for like a week now but Planet Vape is out of stock. They're wayyyy cheaper than I can find the EVO anywhere else ($420), AND they're located in Canada and me being Canadian this makes it wayyyy easier if any issues arise....

Are there any other Canadian distributors who are worth buying from? I've heard PVs service is phenomenal but I want this vape ASAP!!! Haven't toked in over a month due to a lung infection and I want to save my first vape sesh to end the t break for this puppy, but I'm starting to get that itch.

Try vaporizers.ca, they sell it tax included so it should work out to be around the same price. I've never bought from them but several people here have vouched for them.
