Why are we trying to put herb into the VXN? Is this just out of curiosity?
I begrudge nobody experimenting, I was simply asking. Personally, I leave that experimentation to Vapexhale in order not to ruin expensive things. The ELB is made for dry herb and works fantastically while working with kief and hash as well. The VXN is made for full melt concentrates and has proven itself to work very well. I, like M00NEY, am a firm believer of the right tool for the right job, but if experimentation is what one chooses then more power to them. Why not experiment?
I tried kief in the vapexnail today and got a burnt taste left in the hydratube. I suppose herb would do the same. It's possible turning down the temp would work better, but I also suspect the ELB would work better
I brought it up mostly out of curiosity and the fact that I am a big fan of a 100% all glass airpath. Of course the ELBs are probably going to work better because that's how the VXL was designed. Really though... what if you could put a tiny bit of flower in there with your well tested low-temp setting and milk it all in one quick rip? All for a perfect 1 hitter of pure flower flavor.
Maybe this experimentation could give way to the design of a glass insert for flowers. Maybe not. But hell I'll try it once I get my VXN pack if no one else does by then.
It may not even work at all, as newVaper420 mentioned it might fly up into the hydratube.
Give me a VXN about 1/2 or 3/4 shorter or both, it might do good for flowers...
As you are already using the best vape available for flowers I'm not sure why you'd want the nail to be able to do flowers.
Wouldn't a shorter VXN be the fabled glass ELB? Now that would be major improvement to the EVO. Not unlike the VXN has turned out to be.

I've always had best results not two capping just loading kief directly in the ELB and then using the hydratube.I don't have access to concentrates here but I have a lot of really nice kief. So just to be sure, the experience with kief + vxn is better than the usual double cap? If so I'm going to order a couple of vxn as soon as they send me my international Evo
it's condensed vapor. Here's my Hydrafoot 2.0 with the mini side cerc: that phlegmy looking residue is from concentrates. What is it? That can't be all that good to breathe in. I'm glad it condensed out.
Condensed vapor, resin, reclaim, whatever you'd like to call it. This happens whenever you vape or smoke just about anything. Here's my Hydrafoot 2.0 with the mini side cerc: that phlegmy looking residue is from concentrates. What is it? Well, we all have to be honest and admit that breathing in any type of gases that contain any type of foreign residue is not entirely healthy for our lungs. While vaporization may not be as bad for you as combustion there certainly is no evidence that it is good for you. Yes, the plant that most of us choose to vaporize has medical benefits, but the style in which we absorb this medicine may not be entirely medically beneficial.Does it condense like this in the lungs? My coughing fits make a bit more sense if this is happening in my lungs.
plant waxes and even THC itself will also cause you to cough. THC is an expectorant after all...Does it condense like this in the lungs? My coughing fits make a bit more sense if this is happening in my lungs.
Absolutely! It's relative. The more expectorant you bring into your body, the more it will make you cough. Now concentrate that expectorant.plant waxes and even THC itself will also cause you to cough. THC is an expectorant after all...
