I have a spare Evo with a broken bamboo that I've been keeping for this purpose.Haha, I'm good but it definitely sucks .
Sucks to hear that . Could be worse though, like a few years down the line when used EVOs and parts are completely used up and gone. If no one steps in to fix, most EVOs failures will be broken bamboo glass, so they should become available for parts cheap second hand. And with a bit of work at home or using a local electronics repair business, you can address that failure. Doesn't help you in the mean time. Maybe some reseller options out there. And keep an eye on the used market. Beyond all that, it will be another vape...
One problem is that when I asked Seibo to just send me a replacement that I could install myself to save on shipping costs for myself and repair/handling costs for them, he said they required a specialized jig to place into the Evo housing correctly. He then approved a heavily discounted replacement Evo for me so I didn't get the impression he was making it up.
In any case, if someone wants to try let me know and work out an inexpensive shipped price. It can still be used, too. It's just cracked right below the grommet so the bamboo can be spun around by hand but the actual device is still useable.
