Sucks to hear that šŸ‘Ž. Could be worse though, like a few years down the line when used EVOs and parts are completely used up and gone. If no one steps in to fix, most EVOs failures will be broken bamboo glass, so they should become available for parts cheap second hand. And with a bit of work at home or using a local electronics repair business, you can address that failure. Doesn't help you in the mean time. Maybe some reseller options out there. And keep an eye on the used market. Beyond all that, it will be another vape...
I have a spare Evo with a broken bamboo that I've been keeping for this purpose.

One problem is that when I asked Seibo to just send me a replacement that I could install myself to save on shipping costs for myself and repair/handling costs for them, he said they required a specialized jig to place into the Evo housing correctly. He then approved a heavily discounted replacement Evo for me so I didn't get the impression he was making it up.

In any case, if someone wants to try let me know and work out an inexpensive shipped price. It can still be used, too. It's just cracked right below the grommet so the bamboo can be spun around by hand but the actual device is still useable.

this is crazy that many of us ordered over 2 weeks ago and have yet to get shipping confirmation. I personally will be starting a dispute . This just is not right and they should at least reply back besides the generic order confirmation

It is coming up on 2 weeks this weekend, for me, and I'm not worried, the update above about some shipping labels being created is promising, but yeah my thought process with the liquidation sale order is being comfortable waiting at least a few weeks without any info, to see if it ships, if not I have no qualms about filing a dispute with my credit card company after a month? I still don't think they are trying to scam anyone, I just don't think they give a shit about the customer experience at this point, they're just cleaning house so they're going at their own pace or whatever silently... :shrug::2c::peace:

fyi for everyone in this thread shipping labels were made this morning for each of my 4 clearance orders from 2/17-2/22

They can just see that the labels were made, I don't believe anyone has gotten any notice from vxl yet, just hang tight my dude, if you want the items, try to put it out of your mind

if these guys were running an exit scam they would have to be next level stupid to be creating shipping labels for merchandise they have no intention of shipping

i have full confidence they will ship everything. i got an insane haul for a really cheap price so i have no complaints about waiting personally.

Got an email saying my order was updated and both mini hydrabases were removed. Kinda pissed. But got plenty of baskets coming hopefully Didn't get any shipping lable update tho. Maybe they ran out or found a case crushed. If anyone does get there's and got a few. Hmu lol

Why are you pissed? They're going out of business...everything must go! Whatever is on the shelves is being liquidated and whatever isn't on the shelves will never be stocked again. First come, first served, and all that good stuff. If you get a deal, great, but if you don't such is life.

Disappointed, bummed, I could understand. But pissed? Angry? come on...take a hit ;)

which specific hydra base(s) did you and order and on which day?

i ordered the octa base on the 16th and the bomb base on the 17th

Placed an order for 20 baskets, mini hydrabase, connector, hydrafoot and a Crown Hydratree on 2/14, received shipment notification 2/16 and finally received the order on 2/22.

I also placed two more orders (2/16 and 2/17) for a few small accessories, MJ Arsenal Infinity and more baskets but have not received any shipping notifications for either.

On 2/20 I sent an email requesting a cancellation of the order placed on 2/16 but have not heard back. Will update with any changes.

Received an update on my 2/17 order of baskets an an MJ Arsenal Infinity stating that the MJ was removed, then 20 minutes or so later received a tracking label for both orders placed 2/16 and 2/17. Kinda annoyed because I was really looking forward to that Infinity, the only reason I placed that third order. I also requested a cancel on my 2/16 order on 2/20 but did not hear back. Ordered through Sezzle so time to see what my options are. Might just have to suck it up!

I placed an order for a VXH sweatshirt and 20 baskets on the 16th, and on the 17th for one of the refurbed Evos. I got shipping confirmation that my 1st shipment would be only the sweatshirt, it arrived yesterday. They did not cancel my baskets or refurbed Evo, so I still hope I will receive them. I used my credit card so I am not worried about getting scammed or such. I don't begrudge anyone who initiates a charge back.

Hope we all get our orders sooner than later. I will update any news I get from VXH/Hanu.

Iā€™m out no reason it should take over 15 days to not respond to customers . I sent 3 emails , gave them the chance , never heard back . I got a few baskets , nails and hydratubes anyway . I have used the same basket for 1yr with no Iā€™ll effects. Just have to be gentle and clean it on occasion. Starting the dispute with my credit card . I hope everyone gets there orders and I am sure most will I just donā€™t like how itā€™s all being handled and while I feel itā€™s a great deal I donā€™t want to support them anymore even offloading what they got.

The temp control on my Evo failed a week before they announced that they were closing. Explained why they never responded to my request for repair :/ . Unfortunately I missed any close out units. Any thoughts on repair or replacements, anyone happen to have one for parts I'm willing to frankenstein one together. Or does anyone have any comparable replacements? I really liked the form factor, versatility and all glass air path.

I'm looking into the qaroma for this very reason. Check it out, seems like it has potential to be even better.

Shipping label created 3/2, package accepted at post office 3/3 and 3/4 has left facility in route, should arrive on 3/7. Email states that both items are included in package: hydrobomb & 20 baskets. There's hope that orders are being shipped, just longer than normal.
