High everyone! My EVO has been a freakin champ for many years. I nabbed the Early Bird package during the initial launch campaign. Not a single issue despite heavy daily use.
Like any complex machine of this type with heavy use, it wears over time. So I’m sending it in for some TLC. Still works, but I can tell it needs love.
Enter my Cloud “Ticker.” Got that after it first released (still use my Evolver Hydrocirc as my daily driver). Another solid champ. Haven’t used it in years but it just fired up as if used yesterday. Love the ticking sound, too. Brings me back to when I first fucked combustion.
Good times. Very thankful to the folks at Vapexhale who make this happen and to the FC community.

This is exactly my worry as well. I honestly don't agree with the decision anymore than I agree with them ditching their classic HT line. Good thing I still have my classic Hydrabomb and a precision Turbine for oils.
But yeah, if you want clear glass, stock up now!

Rough day here, but the EVO helped still make it great this eve
. I did a 3/4 full ELB fresh quality Strawberry Cough strain to start the eve; it's a potent cerebral and bracing sativa 
. I was worried about receiving a call for a little while 
. I had clouds 
at 320F with no heat soak in the Helio dry mouthpiece. It also gave me the energy to tackle an unsavory task... and then I finished off that ELB like I always do at ~385-390F with the wet Precision Honeycomb hydratube... smooth and impressive 
.
A decided to add another ELB because the EVO delivers. I went with a ~ 55% full ELB of Acapulco Gold, another strong cerebral and potentially bracing sativa . It was an excellent four draws at 320 F on the dry Helio mouthpiece. Those first fresh flower draws are my fave 
. I'm sure the muscle relaxation indica component that Acapulco Gold is well known for is helping 
.

With a few Evo sessions under my belt I concur w/the other review's in this thread: Great device, easy to use/clean, awesome flavor and absolutely no harshness or heat. The package was delivered on-time in non-descriptive packaging. Overall very happy with this purchase. Thank you again so much for everyone's contribution on this thread!
I find the high to be more "heady" than smoking (not preferred). However, mixing some cbd-only flower or harlequin with my chronic is absolutely sublime! Last night's mixture of sour space candy w/a sprinkle of chronic had me a perfect place: uplifted; a body buzz, nba championships on tv, ahhh.
I am excited about the prospect of lowering my thc consumption as well. Kind of like lower one's thc tolerance w/o quitting. They say cdb uptake is enhanced when thc is introduced as well.
The whip works great and I can kick back while taking smooth flavorful hits. Although, my preferred method thus far is to set the Evo at 1:30ish, let the unit heat soak and then finish in 2 hits. Not very connoisseur like but effective. For this unit, combustion seems to start right around the 2:00 mark (couple black specks in abv).
My wife has not been sleeping well so tonight will hopefully be an opportune time for her to try! My wish is for everyone to feel like I did last night at least 1 time in their life... for me, many times, hehe.

Congratulations @Chronic Thinker and great feedback . The retailer I purchased from swears by using the EVO with a whip too . The EVO is so impressively flexible in use... and it delivers a premium vapor experience . In some ways I'm really surprised there isn't more talk about the EVO, it's that good

I'm back on the EVO today and it's been great. A much smoother day too 
. I started mid afternoon with some concentrates in the EVO, first a small dab of Armageddon shatter, followed ~1.5 hours later by another small dab of Super Lemon Haze live resin. Both are strong sativa strain concentrates which again shows my significant affinity towards strong sativas . A few hours later I went back to the Acapulco Gold ELB from last night and finished it off at higher temp~390 F draws (wasn't much left). Then I switched to a fresh 2/3 full ELB of fresh Blue Dream and low temp dry draws. I'm looking forward to the sativa leaning effects with a nice significant indica physical relaxation component.
I've been mixing concentrates with flower use now for a while and it's a great combination. I don't see many owners here mentioning using concentrates in the EVO..?? Who here enjoys concentrates in the EVO and which type(s)? I remember @ataxian is a big fan of rosin in the EVO , but I can't think of many other's who mention it

I've done both flower before concentrates and flower after concentrates. Both work great to me and I basically choose what I prefer at any given time. I find flower more full spectrum in experience so I often save it for later in the evening when I can really indulge .

Yesterday i took a look on the EVO baskets and i wondering what they're made of. Yes stainlless steel of course, but there are 3 parts and i would like to know what is the assemblying process, i just hope it's not glue but i imagine the conceptor couldn't do that...right ?

@Above2cloudz, The ELBs from VapeXhale have been known since new to be made using all SS with no other materials IIRC. It's been recently reported on Reddit the ELB is 316 SS, which, as is earlier noted, then folded into its structure with no other materials used.

For a second sesh I went with Super Lemon Haze live resin at 350 F on the EVO (12 o'clock on the dial). It's been great . I went with significantly larger sized dabs both times 
and at concentrate levels it's been potent . I'm just recently starting to try larger concentrate amounts, and I can see its potency allure. And I think concentrate experiences like these are great .
To that I've just finished off last night's ELB of Acapulco Gold at higher temps (380 F with a wet hydratube). Adding the more full spectrum flower is just the icing on the cake for me. And it's still early eve. The EVO is so flexible and great for a variety of experiences and in dialing in the experience

One week from now, my 4th EVO (first OG cloud broke because of that shady manufacturer who did a bad job at assembling mine, second was a Indiegogo EVO that overheated and melted, the third one was the best one but I broke it accidentally and got the current one as a replacement from vapefiend) will be officially 3 years old!
Not getting much use lately beacuse of my E-Nano, and I think the warranty is 2 years right? 3 if you pay extra (I didn't).
Would that mean that I could now, or at least after a week open it without any consequences?
It is emiting some plastic smells when it's on and I believe it might be because of the lack of ventilation holes on the bottom (I'd like to drill some if I open it).
And maybe because some wire is touching the bamboo and getting hot? So I would chšeck that and move it if it turned out to be true.
Any reason why I shouldn't attempt that? Could they refuse to repair it if I broke it after that? REpairing should be available even without a valid warranty right?

My youth had a big effect on me? 70's was a decent era 4- sure! So sad we did not have a EVO!

You can se there is not only one part, so the different parts of the ELB are welded ? Welded with what ?
Is it thermal weld ss316 on ss316 ? If this is it they have to heat up hard and degrade the structure of the metal wich could be harmful for the user, don't they ?
I don't know why the havent just folded the structure with one piede of ss316 instead of using several parts.
