Hi CANtalk,

You can se there is not only one part, so the different parts of the ELB are welded ? Welded with what ?
Is it thermal weld ss316 on ss316 ? If this is it they have to heat up hard and degrade the structure of the metal wich could be harmful for the user, don't they ?

I don't know why the havent just folded the structure with one piede of ss316 instead of using several parts.

the service does not respond to my email when it was done quickly last time.

(The unit still works exactly the same after putting it back together. Still seems to smell a little, but hard to compare since I haven't used it for a while. Also hard to compare the LEDs if that paper has any boost for the same reason.)

ok, i'm loving the nice hits. i'm running through my water device, they didnt give me a mouthpiece. i though a dry one was included. my mistake.


i always search a bit before i ask questions. mostly always.

why when the evo light is green at say 1:00 and i turn it down to 11 or whatever, the light goes red, for well over a minute. is that normal for it to go from green to red by lowering the temps?

i got a whistler but i just inhale a tiny bit less than normal and it's gone.

the baskets are very tight. had a hell of a time getting the 2nd one out. i rolled them around in my fingers to see if that would help the fit a bit. nope.

hmm, i put a basket only 1/2 way in and it works fine. i'll do some reading up on why so tight and how to make less tight. i don't suppose vaseline would work?

haven't coughed yet. i'm filling the tubes about 1/2 way with bud. very smooth. i cough easily and this is not making me cough. yay team.

holy bat shit the shatter tastes great. i've gone through a couple grams of this shatter, i forget the name, never once did i taste this lovely taste. the used tube looks like crap now. needs a good cleaning. all brownish on the bottom. i tried to mush the shatter at the hole like the dude recommends but i haven't been able to figure that out yet. maybe i'll get some softer stuff but i love my shatter. i only had the evo at like 12:05 .

Green means it's exactly at the temperature you dialed. If you dial it down, it need to cool down for a while before it reaches that newly dialed lower temp.
Just like when you dial it up, it goes red until it heats up to that higher temp.

Yes, it's been a long time since I bought some extra baskets, but they were always a little inconsistent. Some are tighter than others, but it probably can be adjusted. AMybe with a little bit more force than your figers, maybe try tappping on it with a spoon or something (but also be careful, they can break easily, but also aren't really that expensive)

NO! That would be nasty. I don't think vaseline could stand the hot air, and It would clog the screen.

That seems quite excessive, just be careful not to overload the VapeXnail with too much, or it might boil through the hole and go down the glass bamboo in the unit. That would be hard to clean. The VapeXnail wors best and safest with very small loads of concentrates.

Yesterday i watched videos about the whistle ... wow .... i hope mine will be more silent i have neighbors and i vape only on night before sleeping i don't want to wake up all my block

It make me laugh when i saw this because i thinked i had found the perfect vapo after so many time searching and then ... there is another "problem"

I will test it before crying but if you have tricks to avoid the whistle in case i'm interested.

The way to think about this is . .. the way you need to hit a convection vape. First, pack the bowl correctly. I use an EZ-Loader that I created years ago. Second heat the vape up good. When everything comes together start your hit slow, puffing slightly, until your load starts to give.

no i didn't put 2 grams through this thing yet. might be interesting though.

i'm still working on my loading the shatter technique. i'll have to order more glass tubes as they get nasty real fast.

the one screen tube thing is simply too tight. i'm going to toss it and get a few more.

i just tried some dry hits. i took a huge hit, huge for me anyway, i would have been coughing my butt off if i did that on my other devices. i'm so happy. dry hits at 10:00 ish. smooth, sweet, perfect.

I rather like the ELB design and think it's well done, simple and effective, plus many users report it's very durable.

i'm going through , 2.5 to 3 grams yesterday in this thing. it's like eating just one potato chip, can't do it. i'll mello out in another day of testing her out. i'll have to crank up the heat and see what i can handle. getting high as high can be though so i'm not complaining.

i'm inhaling MUCH more deeply than i usually do. with 1/2 the irritation. i have to really work at it to get to where i cough.

Another great EVO Friday here . We need more weekend posts so don't be shy .

I've used the ultrasonic cleaner a number of times now on the VapeXnails and after trying numerous things I find that using it with PBW cleans the nails perfectly. I also then take the PBW solution and use it to clean my other glass such as a hydratube or tubes. Even with a quick cold hold and rinse, the PBW solution worked better than the recycled ISO I was using. I highly recommend PBW for cleaning. Fast, easy and effective.

I had extra clean glass and everything with the EVO today . I went with a 1/2 ELB of (Boveda) fresh quality Strawberry Cough and it's been great. Clouds at 320 F . Smooth, potent and a big cerebral ride so far . I'm lowering my dose ; any more than a 1/2 ELB is just overkill for me, though fun . And it's good to use less .

The whole EVO ecosystem continues to impress. It's a mature and well supported product. The ELB loading tool is something you'll use all the time. I use both dry and wet mouthpieces. The Orbit is great for storing the ELB and nails between sessions and draws. I use the silicon pad to help swab clean the nails between use. I have a number of different tools from grinders, stirring rods and dab scoops to pipe brushes, cotton swabs (including 6" ones for future bamboo cleaning) and ultrasonic cleaners. It all helps to make the whole vape experience simple, smooth, efficient and excellent.

i may have a problem.

i had 4 pods. one didn't fit after numerous tries and squeezing so i tossed it. i've since "lost" 2 of the top caps so i'm down to 2 caps and 3 pods. i'm suspecting gremlins. little buggers have been moving my stuff around for decades.

i ordered 4 more pods. should have ordered 8.

i usually vape around 375f but run all around that temp. i'm mostly vaping at 12:00 on this thing (350f) and below. last few pods full at 1:00 on the evo.

i hope i get over this soon or i'll be purchasing a lot more weed. not that it doesn't get me stoned, i guess it's just my desire to experiment. constantly .

time to weigh out gram 2 for the day and although i haven't had a lot of luck with vaping my shatter, i shall try, try again. lower temps might help as 1:00 makes it harsh very quickly or maybe i am pulling too hard, too long.

i keep my consumption down quite a bit when i just weigh everything. i have taken up the bad habit of being really nicely high and thinking, i need another pod full! duh.

the ABV is always nice and uniform. light to coconut brown depending.

somebody needs to invent a better, less hot way to extract the pods. not terribly inconvenient but i'll need to grow my nails a bit more.

speak of the devil - just got a text for live cured resin. i'm pretty lazy though. might have to nap if i go. shit, $70 per gram. nope. not for me. maybe. i tried "diamonds". meh, it was good but worth $25 or $30 more per gram?


AND I keep spacing out and leave the bud sitting there in the evo waiting for 10 minutes or more.

I feel the exact same way. When speaking of end-game desktop vapes, the EVO isn't mentioned nearly enough and it's performance definitely warrants a mention. Super smooth, great flavor, dual purpose and extremely versatile given built in 19mm male joint.

Mine doesn't get as much use as it should as I tend to prefer logs for micro dosing now but I'll have to pull it out this weekend and give it a spin...or two.

My only gripes are the auto shut off feature and lack of digital readout.

I know exactly what you're saying. I like to experiment a lot when I first get a vape. I use CBD flower and its really helpful for trying out new vapes. Its cheaper and prevents one from getting too stoned too. A lot of options online.

It's been a great Saturday with the EVO so far. For a bit of a change from other Saturday's I started with a 1/6th ELB load of fresh quality Blue Dream flower. It was lovely . A friend visited and I loaded a separate ELB of flower he brought and wanted to try in the EVO. He's still new to vaping and a combuster, and the EVO still delivered clouds with two big coughing fits . The EVO is a very potent extractor .

I then did two microdabs of Armageddon shatter concentrates and Super Lemon Haze Live Resin with the VapeXnail and EVO. This vape is so flexible and it delivers the goods . All while being so smooth too .

I'm still experimenting in many ways. I've found that microdosing / small loads (1/4 ELB or less) benefit from EVO heat soak as some here have recently recommended . Let the EVO sit 15-30 minutes before using it. One doesn't need that with 1/3 ELB or more. Same thing with using concentrates and the VapeXnail; heat soaking when at 12 o'clock on the heater switch (~350 F) has been beneficial . It's been easy to dial in a great EVO experience , though I'm detailed oriented which helps .

I have a Calyx...not sure if I bought it as a second...I have done that in the past with VXH and really notice the flaw unless looking REALLY hard.

Hope you like it...def different than a HT. More of a sipper than a ripper and I like it for that on occasion.

i'm going to start slowing down in a day or so. i'm down 1.75 g since 2:30 a.m. plus a 2 hour nap.

i'm now only loading .05 per pod. gives me 3.5 tokes of my typical toke size.

i'll have to start my wake and bake with .05 and then .1.

Recently fell back in love with my evo. We’ve finally got good quality flower in my town consistently. I’ve been hitting mine dry at 3 pm on the wheel. Does anyone else go this high? I get a nice dark brown ABV but no combustion and potent effects.
