VXL recommends placing the lower wristband just above the enclosure mid-point screws. That enables you to avoid the hot section by sight or touch. Before long, handling the unit comfortably will become second nature.

Claisen Adapters were originally developed for use in chemistry labs and are named after a chemist.

good morning everyone. great news this morning. planetvape got back to me and they will replace my evo for me instead of having to ship to the US. There customer support is one of the best and alot faster as i only emailed them the situation yesterday as vapexhale was really slow to reply. Ordering from PV was the right thing for me to do and should be the place most canadians order from. I received the unit next day from order aswell as getting a return shipping label for the evo when the replacement arrives tomorrow (didnt have to pay 30-50 bucks shipping to america not covered by vapexhale + 25 admin fee). Im really glad PlanetVape is here to save canadians =):leaf:

Yeah I bought a ton of SOLO stuff off Pvape and they are top notch. Marry them to VXL and you have a good combo, a bit pricey for those looking for bargains, but the quality and service has satisfied me many times.

My evo + VXN now I'm doing 10:30 on the dial with most waxes. My glass is getting filthy tho.

My Massdrop SideCirc doesn't have the logo and the mouthpiece angle is much lower. If I fill the water to just above the slits, it slowly drains into the bottom chamber. I drain and refill it several times a night so I don't have an accident. I might have to submit a ticket.

I've noticed that Hydra Tubes cost the same on VaporNation, but ship free: in essence, a $25 reduction in cost vs VapeXhale.

There's no logo on mine from MD , but I can def. fill it above the slits ,
with no drainage whatsoever . I would submit a ticket , good luck on it .

I have found that, at Noon, a count of 10 is nearly perfect. Try looking into the bamboo at your dab, and observe it melt, then get fuzzy with vapor. Hit it NOW.

I am currently experimenting with starting with a cold EVO... wow, very tasty vapor, and only takes about 2 minutes from flipping the switch to pulling the vapor (have to keep a close eye on it). It seems to be happening when it gets to the 9 spot on the dial. So, next I'll try a green EVO at 9.

Definitely normal I think, that's the case for me.

On that note, I like the EVO so far but does anyone else think the green light is a completely false indicator? It seems like I always need to wait a good 10 minutes going from powered off to proper temperature. If I go by when the light turns green, then it appears much, much cooler than what it gets to when time has passed. I don't even pay attention to the light color at all anymore, and basically just check a clock.

I don't mind that much, but I wonder what the point of the light color even is.

Yeah, don't pay attention to the green indicator when first firing it up. It's not a good indication of when the unit is really ready to use IME. I do think it's a valuable tool however when the unit is already heat saturated and you're bumping up the temp (or bumping it down).

Hey thanks man. I ended up going with some tubing and attachments. That way I can let my Evo remain upright. Haven't tried it yet tho, as I want to travel with that waterpipe so keeping it clean. Will definitely post when I get to spend some quality time with her.

Don't know if anyone mentioned/asked this before (didn't see it in the pages I read but Tbh I haven't read all) but anyone used their Evo with salvia? If so, what temp and how much salvia? I know it's not usually recommended to vape it as a first time salvia user, but I was given some 1x and I'm thinking that as it isn't as potent (and I've given up combustion) that maybe I could try it in the Evo.

Should be no problem at all, I haven't personally tried it with my EVO yet but I've done it with ease with my Extreme Q and that's a much weaker unit. Salvia's Vape temp is very high so probably around 3 O'clock

Thanks... Wasn't sure if to go up to 4 or 5 for the high temp req. You wager about 1/4 elb or that's too much?

I completely agree. Great for low temp vapor calibration.

Received my replacement evo today. First thing I notice when I dry toked the evo was the whistle is louder and sharper (not a bad thing to me) prob a better sealed bamboo. Got to test it out just now quickly with a 1/4th elb. This time I didn't max the unit just let it warm up at 12, then moved it to 1:30-200 and let the light turn green. Let it heat up for a minute or two and threw in the elb. Wow was I amazed, my bubbler whitewalled like I have never seen before, my previous evo couldn't do it on max. Just wanna thank @PlanetVape for their great service and support . They made sure to test the replacement before sending it to me to make sure it was functioning the way it should be.
Will do a couple more test runs tonight but damn does it feel great to have an evo that isnt running "cool".

Reminder: Place Hydra Tool in a secure place when your hands are not on it, even if it is only in a coffee mug. This is my MassDrop Side-Circ HT that I ungraciously removed from the Gifted EVO I purchased. Sometimes assholes get what they deserve. Aghhhh! My Precious, My Precious!
