Just keep an eye on it is all I can suggest...That matches my experience so exactly I'm scared my unit is going to overheat today
If you've got the green LED after heatup, then I don't think there's a risk of it overheating...
I think it's only when the Red LED issue occurs that there's potential for the overheat.
I'm kinda assuming that the overheating issue is just an extension of the red LED issue.
Red LED issue = temp sensor working fine (relaying correct info to the heater controller), but not relaying the info to the LED controller properly
Overheat issue = Temp sensor not relaying it's info to the heater controller, so heater just stays on waiting for the temp sensor to say it's hot enough.
I've got no background in engineering or anything like that, just kinda speculating on what I think is happening... (I did do an electronics course in high-school if that'll give me some street cred though )
Can any other intl evo owners who've had it overheat to the point of glowing orange comment on whether;
a-1) They had this "both LEDs on" issue at some point?
a-2) If so, was it relatively close to when you had the overheat issue)
b) Did the EVO have the red LED issue at the time of the overheat, or were you getting a green LED beforehand?
