I've only used my Mighty, EVO and SV3 a handful of times since I got the Tubo. Initially, the mouth piece it came with got way too hot for my liking. I got a longer mouth piece and it solved that issue completely. Within a couple of weeks, the Tubo has risen up in rank and it's basically the first vape I go for now. Amazing flavour, super cool vapour with the right mouth piece and gets you extremely lifted!

One thing... the screen above the coils... how the heck do I clean this?

It is easy ,just make a micro hook from thin wire, and pull from the edges, after that reinsert with finger and/or the stir tool wooden end. Act with determination, tubo heater is very durable ,it can take some poking around and fingering without an issue.
Many guys complain about it but i cant imagine anyone without handicap to find this hard to do.
There a ways to minimize the need of that.
1Use inverted
2 The the cap on top of the gong as a lid, especially when not inverted.
3. When you use with water, have in mind that some of bongs/bublers have blowback,so it is best to remove the tubo from the chamber, before you have finished your hit.

I'm still wondering if there's something up with my Tubo (even though I have the resistence etc. set the way it's supposed to be).

When it first arrived 10 days ago, it was pulling big clouds at 390 F and near combusting at 420. Now, I get light, whispy clouds unless i pull the temp up past 460 F, which seems way higher than most of you are going.

"Warm Up" mode again no longer seems to do anything, turning on and off within 1 second and not affecting the heater temperature.

What's up with my tubo?

just tried this took less than 3 mins with a bit of ecig wire and compressed air, your correct if you cant get the screen in and out you must be disabled in some way.

Did you fully re-flash your device?

@CharmCityVapeGuy I hope it arrives quick and safe dude, probably you are from some decent country where posts are ok. I have zero trust in local posts ,i almost always order tracked cause i've been burned few times by them.
I’m in a msjor US city so it should be ok but I can’t say it doesn’t make me nervous. I just figured I’d save a little money and spare myself the stress of unreliable tracking info. I did also get used Firewood 4 to tide me over. That will help.

I’m also in the U.S., near Seattle. When I purchased my Tubo, I opted for express shipping with tracking. I don’t recall how long it took, but it was longer than I expected, and tracking ended as soon as it hit Customs. I’lll likely go with the economy shipping for my Dual, and no tracking. I think you made the right choice.

Priority untracked got to me in California in 4 business days.

X arrived! any advice on setup i take it the tag on the cord is the resistance value, ive installed funkys firmware and entered tcr but first it was glowing orange now its ice cold, does it all need to be done with the tubo connected at room temp?

edit: seem to have got it going, had to up the resistance from .240 to.260 now getting good clouds at 210 like my original

Was the unit at room temperature when you flashed the firmware or was it still warm/hot?

**Edit - seems you beat me to it, enjoy my friend!

enjoyment was short lived, reuleaux rx200s cant even get through a cruise without getting "device too hot " and killing the session, i thought the device too hot days were over!!! either the mod is faulty or the batteries i assume

What batteries are you using ? It is strange, cause i cant get my board temp over 45C with my RX300 even at continuous sessions.

What is the peak Amp output value that you get? (you can select this as a display line in the config)

i cant find that setting in the menu any guidance? also it displays max watts as 75 yet when i was using arctic fox and the project on this mod it would go upto 200w and never overheated.

Right, but the power output figure is one thing, the converter current output is also important. I asked my question above because I once did a very low resistance build and it somehow pushed the DC/DC converter into a mode where the voltage was super low but the current was super high, and this was the only occurrence where my evic VTC mini displayed the device too hot message.

I think the Tubo heater is also on the low resistance side, maybe a tad too much, and I'm wondering if it's not creating a similar situation (since you have a TuboX we can rule out the heater proximity as a source of heat because it's deported, so it must really be the converter working too hard)

ive looked trough the menu and i cant seem to find how to display the amps, how do i find the setting?

cheers

EDIT: found it, ok so ive looked at the amps with drawing as hard as possible and it hits 20 amps max, what does it all mean lol
