i am ignoring the wismec question on purpose hahaha, but yeah i can go to any mod the firmware runs on. the dimensions of the mod is what is leading the way a bit. as said things are already decided and preproduction units exist, no worries.

first the not fitting stems. it seems there are more problems with stem fittings than i thought. the oven depth should be enough to house 26mm stems with a basket screen. i realized somewhen that the newer female joints were a bit less deep and started to account for that. there are a few units out there that can possibly have less room inside the heater.
solution: if you feel handy and diy, inspect the intake screen, if there is a bit room for the three glass tubes to move further back. if so, take a something wooden and a hammer and gently hammer each tube into the unit from the top by a millimeter and try the stem again. pay attention to not rip the intake screen in this process.
if youd rather not touch the heater, send it to me and ill adjust the tubes, or even place some shorter heater tubes inside if that is not enough.
@Shit Snacks please check yours again, i think i did put shorter ones in yours when it came home for the checkup.

Oh! Yes they may be the shorter ones, doesn't feel like there's much room by the intake screen, and I definitely wouldn't feel safe banging them in myself. My stems don't seem to it seal even without a basket screen, which is what made me think that the joint of the stems themselves needed to be sanded down? Something else I don't really feel so secure doing myself (if I knew someone who could do it I'd actually like to cut them down to 19mm ideally for use with other vapes as well)

I figured it was just variance in glass with the stems, or the female joint in the Tubo even, or maybe just the heater screen? There is a little gap so the screen could probably be placed a bit better but I'm not really sure how you would get it out and keep it intact and then how you would put it back? Hmm

I've got some medical tape at the top of the joint to help it seal, but yeah it is not so nice... All of my stems with shorter length joints fit securely at least. Those new stems are absolutely stunning, what a cool idea with the acrylic, and I've wanted one of @davesmith's custom bent stems for a while, any chance they can come in a 19mm length?!

Still working well otherwise, I actually got to see VtwoMini on its own with Mist, but yeah I've got a G3D that sure would love some Tubo as would my P80

So i wanted to know of i should update it because i have some
Issues:
I get “weak battery” for a second, already after one cruz eco session,
But i can do a few more sessions when it still warns me.
??

I do a 395 all the time and it can go up to 450 and combust when i continue the session..
Is this normal for true convection or is there something i can do to prevent temps from going more than i need to?

Can you recommend me fail safe prefs to set up my Tubo for optimum use? ( i usually do cruz sessions with eco no. 3 on 395)
Maybe there are other menu pages i should set up?

the reason for your tubo to behave like this is likely that your batteries are old and they are not able to supply the energy they used to have. had this myself and decided to treat myself to new ones early this year. back to original performance and bowl amount.
the difference is they get throttled down by the software to the power they can still supply, no harm in using them like this at all.

can you make a video of this behavior? when does it happen? so you let your temps always at 395 and enter cruise with ecolvl3, but temp sometimes climb up to 450? try to put ecolvl back to 0 and see if temperature also does this on its own.

a theory:
since the heater is lowered to 135degC in ecolvl 3 it has to ramp up again to ~200degC when you hit it. if batteries are old and weak, they have trouble to quickly ramp the temperature back up and the PID will start to get super aggressive because it cant reach the setpoint in a timely manner. this results in a accumulation in the I term which will rise the temperature even beyond the set point. to solve this, either get new batteries, dont use ecolvl3 or lower the I value in menu>vaping>algo.
personally id replace my batteries if you like ecolvl3.

on second thought. update your firmware! in the newest version its programmed so that the I term gets reset when 10degC over setpoint. that should stop high temperatures. give it a try and report back!

you're probably right about the batteries laziness, and the eco mode.

seems better now.
cruze eco mode 0, on fresh battery doing much better keeping it close around 395.
but the reason i wanted to solve this was the bit of combustion i got till now.
and this session it was the same even when kept at 395.
maybe i take rather long draws?
or maybe it has to do with the batteries?

The only difference is the heater now has four glass tubes with coils. Your original dual has three, like all the other Tubo's prior to now...
