Yes, instabuy 😂

My post did not mention you, nor was it directed at you. This comes up on a daily basis….

Questioning safety concerns is smart, you can search my posts on FC, to see I take it serious.

My point was, consider the source for your answers, I don’t trust strangers on the internet, and nor should you trust my posts.
As I said, in my opinion there are some knowledgeable members here, but unless one takes the time and effort to verify and confirm the information from other vetted sources, how does one know what advice to believe?

No worries, you helped me alot with your answers.
So i think with a quality Batterie and 35A i should be on the safe side if i understand everything correct.

TM does not have a Auto Shut off, as far as i know. So if i put it in Session Mode, where the batterie is constantly in use, and forget about it. What will happen? Batterie will just run until its empty, or it gets hot and will be destroyed, out gassed, explode … whatever.
This happens to me very often with the OG TM. Not the explosion :D but emptying the battery on session mode. Then TM OG restarts into on demand mode. Not that it can be used on demand, as when I press the fire button it shuts down completely before the second vibration.

people who sent the TM with DHL pick up for fixing it - the delivery man checks the inside of the package? they say in the instruction do not seal before the delivery guy comes etc' .. but it will take time to seal after he comes so it makes no sense? just something that is written and in reality nobody does?

I left mine open and quickly sealed it in front of him. Just get it all packed and ready to tape up, that’s all. It takes a minute to put the final tape on, especially if it’s a small box. Hope it goes well and fast with your repair. Mine took 3+ weeks round trip from Massachusetts - and my OG TM rocks again! :peace:

thanks, did you print the TransportLabel as a paper or as a sticker? Do I need to handle him the Waybill paper or not needed to print?

I printed both the shipping label and wayward bill, the latter just in case. I taped the label on one side already closed so the other side just needed to be taped shut when the DHL person arrives. I live in the States (MA) so it may depend where you are.

Thanks to one of the slawarts in this thread I’m currently exploring Simrell stem options for my TM. However as I’m currently at the auto dealer getting all new rubber and a few additional things my vaping & accessories budget may be on hold for a bit. I just bought the TRWW cooling stems so I’ll use those for a while. I’m loving the short dimpled and tapered stem! I’m still using the stock short TM stem with hollow CUs too (old habits die hard). TGIF to all. :peace:

Are there any dissassembly videos of the TinyMight2 out there? I broke my inner glass tube, have a spare and have repaired the same issue with my TM1 thanks to info I found in this forum. If anyone has any resources or advice, I appreciate it.

I took the long screw out of the bottom of the TM2, but the top plate doesn't seem like it's designed to come off the bottom.

Not getting proud here, but i love FC for being full of people that contribute knowledge ,ideas and give feedback so if someone listens he can make definetly one hell of a product.
Breaking bad S02E10 end of the episode. "Stay out of my territory" one of the best scenes in Breaking bad serie !

I understand the process to be this;

- Take the bottom long screw out,

- Take the bottom plate off,

- There’s a hole that leads up to the top plate, you need a long thin screwdriver to reach into there and unscrew the top plates hold on the ground wire.

- If you don’t do this and pull the top plate off first, you will mechanically short the heating element from the bottom chip board causing the unit to break.

There are useful pictures of a TM2 disassembled here at this ImgBB link.
I'm looking at those pictures and some questions do pop up:

-How does the reclaim get all the way down the heater (and on the glass)? Could that be from hitting it inverted? (So the remaining vapor goes up the heater so instead of risking some crumbs falling down with normal upright use it catches vapor that condenses?)
Is that normal to have reclaim down the device like that? It's very hard to clean all the way down there i reckon so nodbody does that i suppose?
-How/where exactly is the airpath closed off from the electronics? So the air intake goes thru the holes and then? Where's the isolated path?
I've been searching the thread but the only thing i find about that is @Djsleepy saying "It's isolated. He adressad all the issues.".
But that's a bit like "trust me bro" so maybe i missed it, but again: where and how is it isolated?
-finally: what happened to this device for it to look like that and for it to have reclaim pooring in it's guts? It's a TM2 so it can't be that old?
i'm a bit puzzled tbh...

Well if you go a bit back in the thread you can figure it out,but this are photos of a malfunctioned TM that had the heater shorted and from what i see it heated the coil leg and this is most likely residue from the wood, since wood contains resins.
The Glass coil sleeve presses onto the metal disc at the bottom and there you go.

Would the Molicel P28A battery work with both the first TM, Ispire Wand and Wismec RXgen3DualI?
I tried searching it here but couldn't find anything.

So that's how it closes off the airpath you mean?

that had the heater shorted and from what i see it heated the coil leg and this is most likely residue from the wood or melted circuitboard or components.

You might be right but it sure does look like reclaim to me... The circuitboard surely didn't melt into that golden juice and i'd be very surprised if that were woodsap tbh...
The stuff on the glass and on the top metal part (next to the air intakes) really looks like reclaim imho...

Edit: you can actually see that the stuff on the bottom plate is inside the airpath, no? So it can't be wood realted or from the circuitboard. It still has the shape of the glass sleeve i think?

Yeah i edited my post.,Definetly board is not melted or very unlikely to. If you really look into it ,there isnt actually much to melt. Tinymight has no wires,no insulation,no plastics. Definetly metal heaters dont taste as good as the all glass ones but IMO this one tastes as good as it gets with this material and also performace is pretty cool.

I edited my post too...
Cause i reckon it can't be woodsap since it's inside the airpath? Can be seen by the shape of the smudge on the bottom plate...

Well maybe the glass liner also cracked,i cannot really see from the photos.
Also he could have spread it in disassembly. No one knows where it was in the first place.

It will remain a mystery!
But it makes me kinda think that using it inverted has some risks too: if you don't clear all the vapor from the bowl/stem there might be a risk of getting condensed reclaim deep down in the device (which sounds worse to me than some crumbs falling on the screen)?

Just a thought... And since it's not that easy to check/clean those parts it might be dirtier than expected inside that heater after a while of inverted use (with insufficient clearing of the vapor that is)?
