According to the directions you are correct. But as you can see, my unit is nothing like the one in the manual or the pictures. It was impossible to get the screen out. I suspect the screen got accidentally pushed through the metal in the glass tube. When I loosened the screw all of it came out. There is a short glass piece and a longer one with the metal collar.I really can't help you unfortunately as I'm not sure what I'm looking at and if I tell you how to put it together like mine it might not work. I will have to tell you to contact tinymight again and ask for assistance but I can tell you getting the glass back around the coil is tricky and there is no way you should have had to remove that to get the screen if yours was like mine
Not sure I will bother. Now that I see how this was constructed I am not sure I will bother. I think it is too fragile... and I was very careful with it. I usually use a WPA but I also have the long cooling stem with the internal spiks. It uses a basket screen and I suspect it does not fit well with the dosing capsule. Very disappointed that it would be sent out without updated directions. It looks like you may have pushed the screen into the heater. I can't imagine another way the screen would have a hole burned into it.
I suspect that the worst case for you might be the "non warrenty" repair fee which I believe if around $70. Way better than a total loss. That is assuming you want it repaired. I certainly would as it is the best vape I have...
It should not be this complicated. There are no repair vids or written instructions.
