I just got some 99% iso just to be safe. Yea the tincture stuff is going to be nice to have after some uses :D

Just to be clear, I’m *not* recommending that you use iso for a tincture. If you want to make a tincture, you should get something drinkable with very high alcohol content like Everclear.

You might be fine using iso as a tincture since it would be small amounts, but I wouldn’t do it. I don’t even like getting it on my skin too much. You *can* evaporate all of the iso out and then use what’s left behind, but you’d want to read up on that…I haven’t tried it.

Glad the TM’s working for you! :)

Ohh ok, yea I've seen my friends do the evaporation method with shake, but idk if it was iso or everclear. Alright, now I know not to drink iso, that wouldn't be good, plus thinking of it now, it's a cleaning solution. I'll have to grab some everclear for tinctures then. As always, I appreciate your input, helps a first time dry herb user like me.

Thanks :D my first dry herb vape and it's 🔥🔥🔥, luckily, no problems so far  I only got a small bowl out of it before I threw the parts in the iso.

this is as close as I come to stock lol

This is my current TM setup up. I recommend the WPA / MP from @RogueGuy. I use and like the short stem and was happy to find a MP that keeps my lips cool (my only concern with the short glass). I also use the complete CU and still have a reasonable sized bowl.
I think I'm good for now! ;)

What is that mouthpiece and where do I get one?

The first is a titanium mouthpiece by ditanium and you should be able to find it in shops/sites that sell the ditanium. From what I read you would need slightly bigger O-Ring on that MP to have a perfect fit un the TM mouthpiece/tube.

The second one is made by @RogueGuy and should be found on his site https://www.theroguewaxworks.com/ but I don't find it. You could write him on this forum.

I looked at Rogue Works website. I would like to try a J-hook since I would like to abandon the cooling units. He is out of stock of severable J-hooks. I can wait until they are restocked. I think I may have previously asked this question, but I'm too old and senile to remember. Anyhow, I would like to know if I need the 18mm or 14mm one and would I need something for the TM in order to connect it to the J-hook.

Same here. I actually really like the short stem with CU but I have the feeling I need to clean the CU way too often.

It depends on the WPA that you get. Tinymight themself offer both on their website. But there are also others. Eds Tnt for example offers a really nice wooden WPA. Haven't tried that one but it looks nice :)

Edit: if you meant the TRWW mouthpiece / WPA it's 14mm and that would be the only thing you need to connect it to a J hook

Thanks for that, I'll just do it for 5-8 seconds. I don't mind the wood smell, I'm just not sure if it's wood smell :hmm:

I separated everything and I'm reading to clean it, then it let air dry. Is the screen ok to be soaked in iso?

I found one of your posts (idk how to properly quote, pg 451):

So I would iso soak the glass stem and CU unit. Then I would disassemble the tube holder for a qtip iso scrub. I would do this to the screen heater too right?

Edit: I found that it's okay for the screens to be in iso. Did the 5-8 sec burn off with stem off, seems to smell like something is burning, that weird burning smell seems to be gone or I've smelled it for so long that my nose adjusted to it (quite counterproductive since I didn't want the fumes in me ) The TM body is getting hot during burn off

You really don't need to soak the parts, for the initial clean, what you need to do is scrub them with the q-tip, soaking new metal and glass over night is not going to do anything, that's only necessary when they're dirty with a lot of sticky vape reclaim... the wood smell will break in as you use it over time, enjoy!

SEARCH for the treasure...
Thanks for the reminder, I took them all out. Lost one of the CU orings down the drain tho  did a quick warm water rinse with them

I’m still using the stock CU, click the link below to see the LAZY WAY to clean it.

Good people, help. It looks like my temperature calibration has failed, does anyone know how to return it?
I always have combustion above 3.5. I still can't exit boost mode.
There is a way to change the temps. On the website in the FAQ there is a part that mentions changing the lowest lower and the highest temp higher. Perhaps they can email you instructions w/o having to send it back. 🤞

I have some questions around performance with the batteries, I'm finding that performance drops with the battery %, I assume this is just normal? heating is much less when at 50%

I find that it is getting slightly dirty inside the heating chamber, is it recommended to clean that regularly?

I'm enjoying the hits, waiting on my WPA and other stems to try, I have the Ed's TnT wood stem and that is nice but I still have to use a cooling unit otherwise it's a bit hot.

Currently I'm enjoying ripping .15 to .2 in 2 hits on 9 or 10 through a JHook, big fluffy hits.

There must be massive variations in the temps available.
I use temp 3, going up to 5 max. Anything above that results in combustion immediately.
My mate had one he could only use in 9 or 10. He had it changed under warranty and his behaves like mine now. If he goes above 7 he gets combustion so he uses at 3 or 4 also......

There are situations where the calibration of the dial is not correct (obviously in your friends case). But we also need to take into account the draw speed. Drawing like crazy at level 5 will result in a different abv than just sipping at level 5. That makes it hard to compare the dial settings to other users setting :2c: I usually use level 8 and get dark brown abv.

Thanks for the reply.
Why obv in my friend case and not mine?
And it's not draw speed. If I set my dial to 6 any draw speed will result in charring.
I'm not unhappy. I can step from 3 to 5 and I'm happy as is my mate.
But there is no way either of us could use 9 or 19 and this is on a new TM replacement (my mates).

@ThirdEyeHigh batteries make no difference. I swap out and alternate my 6 batteries.

It seems that my experience of flirting with calibration turned out to be not the most successful in the end. The so-called boost mode began to work incorrectly. above 3.5 or 4 there is a combustion ... and below 2 it does not turn on. It twisted into the roulette. It's a little sad. Plus, I can't exit this mode, as it turned out, it was much easier to enter it than to exit, since the commands I entered 6-7 months ago now simply do not work.:rip::peace:
