TinyMight / TM 2

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
so did the company improve on all the issues everyone was facing with the tiny might? did they release a revised edition? I trying to figure out if i should grab a mighty+ or a Tiny might? i can live without either

No there is no V2, just rolling upgrades, skim back through the thread, this question is always asked and answered...

i still use my Saionara as a daily driver - i have awesome live resin.

i will wait for mighty+ reviews and then do some comparison before purchasing.

If you rely on concentrate I'm not sure these are really that appealing to you, but also there is really no comparison between the two, even a mighty+ is still going to be session conduction driven presumably and this is on demand pure convection

not trying to :worms:

Naaaaah, please, we all in this together!!! 🤪

I find the placement on the FW7 to be particularly inconvenient for me ;)
my Firewood just melts away into my hand.

I mean if anyone's gonna start shit, it's me, lol! 😜

Ok, do tell, is this MP really all that? Please try and describe what it's like, or it would even be great if you pointed me where you had to answer this before :hmm:
Tinymight it's a rock

I forgot to hit post on this earlier tonight, but I agree with everyone above.

I was advising caution early on with the TM, mostly due to slow customer service which has been dramatically improved, and because of a few things I thought should be improved in the early models.

Since then they’ve made a lot of little fixes which addressed most of my issues with the TM, and I’d choose it over any version of the Mighty for sure. :)

I'm seriously thinking of getting a TinyMight. How are the shipping times? And what accessories would you recommend? (I'm planning to get a wooden stem from Ed's TNT.) I don't plan to use it with glass, at least not right off. How about the various screens and the o-ring kit? If shipping times are reasonable I don't mind ordering parts as I need them – I've got plenty of back up vapes. But if there's a long wait I might prefer to have some of the replacement items on hand. Any other info or opinions on this vape would be welcome as well. Thanks a lot!

You're on page # 475 of opinions and info :D

Quick hit list imo would be spare o ring kit, I'm satisfied with 2 short stems, 2 cooling units, the multi-wpa - all from the TM store, then a J Hook / Bubbler from wherever.
I’m batting .500 on your list - I have two short stems and two CUs, indispensable when cleaning a stem & CU and you want to continuously want to use your TM. I certainly do :). I’ll be ordering the spare oring kit and the multi-WPA from TM soon! I need spare heater screens and might as well get the other spares too. 18+ months of TM bliss continues  :peace:

The 2 stems/2 CU's are the most important I think, and for the exact reason you mentioned - good to have a clean one to swap out until you get the other one cleaned up!

While I enjoyed the TM for a long time with just the native short stem and CU, eventually I grabbed a J hook. That took over for home use with the WPA, the short stems have me covered for being out of the house, and then the O Rings are just good to have. I may have only changed the o-rings once, on one CU, but they're good to have just in case. Honestly I am not even sure where mine are now that I think about it...should probably find those.

What’s a bit ironic is that my stock short stems vary a bit in both the inside and outside diameter. With respect to the CU orings, this matters as one CU tends to slide more freely in one stem than the other. And the orings also may vary too causing a bit more consternation to my own folly and foibles. Finding orings that work in one of the stems is a bit tricky.

Of course the next logical step would be to dispense with CUs altogether but I’m not there yet, even after 18 months. That would require external filtration of some sort. I did remove the nuts & washers though earlier this year and enjoy without them. I’m a portable purist and like using vapes as they are. Old habits die hard, lol. But I can laugh at myself and learn new tricks. Eventually :). :peace:

Just got my TM and had to hold back my excitement before using it. Mainly because I was recommended to clean it first to get rid of some manufactured particles.

Can I just rinse the stem and CU with water or do I need iso alch, and for the internal parts can I turn the heat to max for a few seconds and repeat?

I couldn't find the a page or post about it with the search, yet if anybody can show me where I can locate the info it would be appreciated.

If the glass seems okay to you, you could just wash it with soap and water, but in the future you’ll want to use iso (or other alcohol) because it seems to get the sticky residue off better. If you use Everclear or something drinkable with very high alcohol content like that, you can keep soaking your stems in it and use it as a tincture if you want.

The heater should hopefully be clean, but a burn-off isn’t a bad idea, and whether or not you want to take out the stuff around the stem or try to clean it in place with maybe iso on a q-tip is up to you. If you do a burn-off and you don’t see or smell anything that bothers you, you should be good.

Some other devices are shipped dirty a lot more than the TM from what I’ve seen, so even though I said clean every vaporizer you get I think what I said above should be enough in this case.

Hope it works great for you, good luck!

Do you have a nice j-hook for at home? While I'm not a frequent water user myself, the Tinymight milks a bubbler more easily and mindlessly than any vape I've owned too. Both are better use cases for the sensible button placement too.

I never use the cooling unit unless I'm vaping out and like @Bad Dog the j-hook is my go to. To me it's like you're only using the TM in its third or fourth most impressive setup. Yolo dude!

I have cheap dhgate jhooks, 14mm & 18mm. I use them on occasion. I want to get a real glass WPA to use with them (and my glass rig) instead of the rubber universal WPA I have now which works in certain situations but I know there’s better. Even at home I still enjoy the nativeness of portables though, lol. Eventually I’ll get there :). :peace:

SEARCH for the treasure...
Hi everyone!
I finally made the step to register here in the forum after getting my infos from here and reddit for almost two years. Since I quit combusting 2 years ago I tried many devices to find the perfect one for me. Without any bigger research I started with a MFLB and was disappointed. I switched back to rolling joints and thought I'm done with vaping. Then a few weeks later I found a reddit post about a vape called "Dynavap M" and I thought I will give vaporizers one last try. This was a complete different experience compared to the MFLB. But soon I realized that I'm not 100% happy with the vape. We all know VAS and there's always something which is still not perfect (bowl size, heating technique, maintenance, portability etc). The more information I found about vaporizers the more I had to try. The TM was on my list for a long time, but haven't pulled the trigger because either it was not in stock or I was not willing to pay 250€ for a vaporizer. I'm glad I did. I own my Tinymight for several weeks now and I'm still very impressed. I haven't touched any of my other vapes since. And I don't have the feeling that I have to change that any time soon! :)
So thanks everyone (here and on reddit, I think a lot of members use both) for providing all the detailed information about the TM and vapes in general. I really like the community and hope a lot of people quit combusting and join us as well!
This is my current TM setup up. I recommend the WPA / MP from @RogueGuy. I use and like the short stem and was happy to find a MP that keeps my lips cool (my only concern with the short glass). I also use the complete CU and still have a reasonable sized bowl.
I think I'm good for now! ;)

@beluga808

That MP looks interesting. It looks like an acrylic version?
Have you used it as a WPA?

I’m concerned using it in a 14mm “ground glass” joint will sand and scratch it over time. Not a huge deal, but I like a smooth surface when using the TM native, as a MP. Currently, using the titanium Herbolizer MP that’s usually sold for a silicone hose end. The ground joint does mar the surface, but still smooth enough for lip use.

Good people, help. It looks like my temperature calibration has failed, does anyone know how to return it?
I always have combustion above 3.5. I still can't exit boost mode.

Yes it's acrylic. To be honest I haven't used it as a WPA yet.

Haven't really thought about this. As soon as I'm using a J Hook or glass piece with the MP I will take a look and let you know. Maybe @RogueGuy (manufacturer) can help?

I just got some 99% iso just to be safe. Yea the tincture stuff is going to be nice to have after some uses :D

I'm not sure if I'm doing the burn off correctly, I set it to max and pressed the button, got one vibration, and held it for a minute, but I don't feel any hot vapor or the short stem getting hot. I plan on holding it for 5 minutes and one more cycle of that. I'm not sure what I'm smelling though even without heating it, must be the wood smell.

Luckily my TM is sparkly, seems clean, but I'm still going to clean it to be sure.

Heating it for minutes at a time without drawing air sounds like a bad idea to me...

Yea I'm not sure what I'm doing, so no burn off?

Turn off would just be second set of time, like 5-8 seconds or so after the vibration, back to back of those, instead of holding it for solid minutes, tends to be a bit better for some on-demand convection, though this could be fine here... Cleaning all the metal and glass in the vapor path is a good idea and yeah just basic quick burn off is all, sorry though I didn't read all your posts, but if it is the smell of the wood finish that is bothering you, yeah that's just going to take a little time to air out unfortunately...

Since no one has answered yet, my best suggestion is to get ahold of customer service, they’ll send you a return label and then after that it’s a waiting game.

im not aware of a way to fix that yourself but maybe someone more knowledgeable knows better.

Thanks for that, I'll just do it for 5-8 seconds. I don't mind the wood smell, I'm just not sure if it's wood smell :hmm:

I separated everything and I'm reading to clean it, then it let air dry. Is the screen ok to be soaked in iso?

I found one of your posts (idk how to properly quote, pg 451):

Yeah you burn off the heater, any vape usually you want to at least power up empty first to make sure it's working properly and smells okay etc. And for the TM, there are a lot of steel and aluminum parts that are freshly machined, so the iso q-tip scrub is a good idea, for those of us that have done it and see how dirty the organic cotton can be afterwards! Although I did not do it on my first TM, I was young and reckless then, excited for my new favorite vape lol
To be clear, when I say disassembled for the first cleaning, I just mean the top ring, the metal tube beneath it, the metal ring and screen above the heater, the big orange o-ring... (also the entire cooling unit, though I have not done that myself, since I am just using WPA through hooks at home, but someday I will, TM will see the world again eventually lol) I think I did the battery threading as well, but yeah I also left it unassembled after I cleaned it for a little while, to further air out, I think the smell on mine was the oil used to finish the wood, fortunately quickly dissipated (noticed no smell with my original) And I also try to always clean new glass before first use too!

So I would iso soak the glass stem and CU unit. Then I would disassemble the tube holder for a qtip iso scrub. I would do this to the screen heater too right?

Edit: I found that it's okay for the screens to be in iso. Did the 5-8 sec burn off with stem off, seems to smell like something is burning, that weird burning smell seems to be gone or I've smelled it for so long that my nose adjusted to it (quite counterproductive since I didn't want the fumes in me ) The TM body is getting hot during burn off

I think it's normal for the TM body getting warm during use... Especially when you do the burn off there is no fresh air coming through the air path. From my perspective you cleaned your TM enough now and it's actually time for testing your new device with some herb! :)

I tried it and the TM got me pleasantly medicated. I did a warm water/soap on stem and a quick burn off with the TM, thanks for reassurance, I was like yea it's time to give it a go. I'm gunna be good for a bit after that :smug:, so ima put the pieces in a plastic bag with 99% iso and let it sit for a few hours.

It hits so hard, thanks for the recommendation and guidance FC
