TinyMight / TM 2

I thought the problem with the button was fixed on the TM2?
It's giving me a bit of a headache to spend so much money on a device that is very vulnerable.

I was also very lucky with my button. Bought my TM2 Walnut the same day it launched directly from Tinymight. Have used it almost everyday since except for maybe two months (tbreak or other vapes). It's such a nice vape with many happy customers. I even got my friend to convert from combusting and buying his first vape after trying mine a few times. People here also comment very positively about Tinymights customer service. If you're buying it now there should be less concern about the button. So relax and enjoy it when it arrives :leaf:

Is there a real difference between the performance of the new oven in the TM2 Purple Heart versus the original TM2?

So far so good, or, rather, great with my PH! The same goes for their customer service. You should be enjoying it soon enough!

If you can't spend the money and be excited, maybe you shouldn't spend the money? Anything is vulnerable, almost any vape with a thread here, so you have to decide for yourself personal value, I know anxiety is tough to control, but this is something supposed to make you feel good, right, ultimately... A lot of money means a lot of thought going into the purchase for some, and that is okay, but there are so many satisfied users, to me there is no reason to worry so much about the users who have problems...? Easier said than done lol

Not substantially, it's not a new oven, the heater is the same... It just has ceramic posts that are a bit more robust, and zirconia around the heating element instead of quartz... The tuning and other things could be slightly different, which affects temp control settings etc. but otherwise you're not really missing out on anything substantial, depending when you got yours, new walnut TM2 has all the other upgrades (and even comparing that to the TM1 versions, to me they all perform more or less the same despite any variance and build quality) of course I have not tried PH though this is why I am not tempted to spend money on it when I already have 3 TMs I love when I need one?

I would say this applies to most things we buy not just vapes? There's always a chance something can go wrong but this doesn't always mean it's a bad product, sometimes it's a out of thousands with a problem. And maybe the rest 90% don't

Yes don't worry, tm is a tiny machine! Effective power machine!

My first two TM2’s shit the bed before I ever got started, two brand new units that did the blinky light failure before I ever got the first puff.

The seller was so inappropriately receptive, I had my brand new TM2 in hand a week before I even sent back the defective ones.

This third one has been nothing but perfect since day one, and abused for twelve months.

I've run my OG TM for more than 3 years almost daily and I have never had an issue. I suppose shit happens but I think it is statistically more rare than the last couple of posts would indicate.

But definitely don't buy it if these messages put you off. It's a luxury item and you should only buy what you are comfortable with.

TM3?? Is there a release date yet or they haven't even started planning it yet?

No, you're overthinking it now, most people that are happy without any problems, don't bother posting... Although there are many people who do post saying that! Seems easy to focus on the negatives, but you're not actually using quality data, so it's biased perspective... If someone really wanted to they could go through everything here, math out exactly how many failures over the different iterations, and how many are fine etc... Furthermore how many had great service etc every single data point, but no one's doing that at all, so I hope you can understand why it seems overkill to worry

Received the walnut TM2 from Vapefiend and surpised to find the glass stem with 15 balls inside the box (the same one that's bundled with the PH) instead of the titanium 80mm stem. I took another look at Vapefiend's site just now and it does confirm this in the specs. Funny, I didn't notice that when placing an order ten days ago and was expecting the titanium one.

Package Options:

Tinymight 2 Walnut

  • Tinymight 2 dry herb vaporizer in Walnut
  • Short glass tube (55 mm)
  • Glass Stem with 15 balls
  • Cooling unit
  • Battery (Molicel P26A)
  • USB-C Charging cable
  • Instruction manual
  • 3 Year limited Warranty upon registration at http://tinymightvape.eu

Bought my TM2 in April. Used it daily up until 3 weeks ago when the firing button became unresponsive. Luckily warranty repair is available locally otherwise I'd have an expensive paper weight. It doesn't surprise me people are hesitant to purchase these things.

Yeah, people need to know themselves, I'm not someone who breaks many things like this way, treat things pretty carefully and mindfully, so it just is hard to imagine it as a concern? Meanwhile someone who is able to not think about these things and just go to town, might wear it out quickly, as we saw from another heavy user here in particular, who helped provide feedback and motivate TM to improve the button further... I'm sure there's always room for more improvement nevertheless, as there have been rolling upgrades for a long time here, but I have never had any issue with the button on any of my three, even if it's not the most ideal?

My TM2 has (re)met it's maker several times since I got it and each time I have been very well looked after by the (tiny) Tinymight crew. From the UK the returns to Finland have not cost me a single penny and the device has been collected, repaired and redelivered to my address with no fuss wotsoeva.
(FYI, I ignore the "courier instructions" - i.e 'courier needs to check contents upon arrival for collection' - I always seal the box before they arrive & have had no issue)

Imo+e, hardware is prone to failure, and that's a given (which is why we all have backups, right?) but what really matters is how failures are dealt with by the supplier. Plus, as an aside, I think this is a niche, artisanal, product and personally, I have a fair bit of respect for these details which certainly count for something (but no free passes).

At the end of the day, it's a game of two halves (sorry, but I just couldn't resist that one) and I have no hesitation in recommending Tinymight - they get the job done & deliver the goods where it matters most

:peace:

I use my 10 year warranty glass lined tm2 heavily for almost 2 years now (used 1 battery for 1 year lol I now have 5) I always charge from the unit (which people say not to do lol) it charges fast. A couple of accidental tip overs on a table and 1 drop nothing broke (besides the stem) one day the button didn’t vibrate when it turned on or off I came on here searched it and smacked the bottom of unit and it worked again….my tm2 works like day one still

Great vape that I reach for often for myself but not one I would toss around and share with others (I have but rather not) they gotta get their own lol

Yesterday I set my TM2 to about 140°C (set to blue LED, level 4). I used the short stem with the cooling unit, i love the look with short stems. After six months we are better friends. A long session with a lot of taste, which I only interrupted because it was time to stop. I am newly in love with it as it serves me even more precisely, no temp stepping or anything like that, just set and enjoyed. I will lower the temperature a bit more, maybe it will be even better.

I'm not sure I did. I think I broke the heater though either way. Now it will turn on, but no heat. So sad. Any advice?
It would be sad if you did break the heater. In that case, I think you would contact TM directly and see about sending it in for repair. They may even have some troubleshooting things for you to try before suggesting you send it in.

Others here may also have some suggestions for you to try as well when they read your post.

Otherwise, it is always prudent to turn the dial to 0 after each use. That way you would never accidentally turn it on generally or when inserting batteries, etc.

I hope you get it working again soon.

I'm almost positive it was at zero. Whatever happened, it was glitched out at a temperature far above the 10 what it is when I set it at 10. Some people have hypothesized I might have accidently put it into silent mode. I was at 10, and I might have flipped back and forth between 10 and 0, causing silent mode.

I ordered a new one. Was going to next day ship it, but I doubt it will come faster, since it's the weekend now, so I chose two day instead.

Was about to spend $1000 on tiny might website, (I'm sure they would have given me a discount), but, I checked vgoodiez, and they have titanium stems, wpa, etc. Still ended up spending 700.

Ill send the dead one back. I just need a vape now lol. I should have done this months ago. I literally almost did, but I got so sick I ended up in the hospital and forgot.

Oh well. Guess I need to get some gummies or something for the weekend until the new vape arrives.

My glass sleeve has been broken on this one anyway for a long time I'm surprised the interior stayed together. If I cleaned that stuff, it would have fallen apart anyway. I had a tiny portion cracked off, and huge cracks.

Edit : yay, just found an old cart. Not a fan compared to combustion, but I'm gonna enjoy any win I can get lol.
