TinyMight / TM 2

With 904 pages for TM on here, I'm just going to ask my questions and hope someone answers bc I don't have time to read through it all. First off, do I need to wait for 420 sales or is one of the vapes that never gets a good discount? Also, I'm use to an Argo for glass stem portability. I want faster heat up and true on demand. Is the size of TM2 bigger or smaller than Argo? And what is the experience like compared to Arizer? I have FF2+ but I don't consider it portable due to shape and charging dock and constant need to stir. I never even use my FF bc of all of that. It's basically still new. Lol.
Hello,
i had argo and then tm2.
argo has an eighties design, it's really cool in your pocket, but plastic. I also felt like I could smell electronics, but the main and biggest problem for me was that it has a lot of resistance when pulling.
tm2 is heavier, more robust, quality materials, etc., great mouthpiece options and air passage.
now I have venty where I can change the air flow and I probably also prefer the combination with conduction heating.
but what I like about these machines is that there is always something new going on and each vape is for a different occasion, so I keep some vapes because I can go back to them.
But I gave away argo and maybe dynavap.....

Having such a great on-demand experience, with a full temp range for pure convection using glass stems in the TM, has ruined me for most all other chambered vapes and especially those with session (conduction) heating... Sometimes I am tempted to grab one again, for the nostalgia perhaps, but they are not too useful in my mind relatively

Venty is just so ugly. Lol. Yeah, I have a couple of dynavaps and I appreciate them BUT I'm just not gonna be firing up the butane lighter constantly. Simply not my thing. I love arizer but my quirk with argo is having to deal with the stem being so far down in the device. I always feel like it's gonna break when I put it in or out. Lol. And yes, the airflow sux a billion. I start looking at all these vapes and I've already bought so many I don't know why I can't just use something I already have. I do use them but it's like I'm constantly switching them around while searching for something else. Thanks for taking the time to give me your perspective.

Yeah honestly that is something I never liked about the Argo design, I don't want to continue to talk about it too much to get off topic for this TM thread, but the other Arizer portables have a better design imo

TM has the stem going in deep but it is also a better design for that, it works really well, I have some others where the stems go in deep that I don't like as much, but there are also other options for stems where they use ground glass connections instead... Really so many options, but the TM is a great near mainstream accessible choice!

Yeah I really wish there were more options for stem loaded, on demand vapes. TM2 is really it for the most part? Heck, even if there were less portable options I'd be happy. There isn't much out there, except for some mostly conduction vapes and devices that take a longer time to heat up. Something like a couchlog might be good, but not sure how it would be natively. For the price, the TM2 is right there with logs anyway.

I mean there are still a few of the 510 mod powered ones around although most are not easy to get is the thing, aftermarket options

I'm still shocked no one has knocked off the TM. It was the first vape that made me realize herb can compete with dabbing, taste-wise. The experience using it is pretty similar to a dab pen/e-rig too. I think a mass market hard hitter like the TM would be good for converting more people to vaping but maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe knock off is not quite the right word here haha You mean taking inspiration from more than a full-on knock off clone, Yes?

you won't convert many at $350 entry fee.

Just ordered new stem from Sneaky Pete North not in stock yet in the US store, pretty cheap $25CAD that’s like $5USD. Should have ample cooling being 6” long, but not very portable.

That seems like a killer value stem. Thanks for sharing. Also thanks SP!

Right. I mean a stem loaded portable with a powerful temp controlled SS heater. Not like a Chinamight situation. Different design. Same basic idea.
The thing is it's a lego game now, in general you have glass/wood vapor path that should fit 16mm or 18mm stems with air holes somewhere near it, and with the heater below it, a mainboard, and a battery. maybe i forgot something. So now you need to lego it as compact as possible, and the only other design option, that I'm at least seeing, for legoing it without copy the whole TM design is to stack the components somehow like xmax v3p, but I think that it'd become an unpractical pillar that you can't carry. If you think about putting the battery at the side, near the heater and stem system, you'll get a TM basically

People do not very often think what might stand behind a low cost copy/spin offs of products. Tinymight 2 might very well be the most expensive portable to build out there .
Some compromise on quality and also involving lowly paid child labor would allow for such product to exist, but i really doubt someone can bring a product with a similar performance for a lower price, otherwise there would be plenty of those yet.

I agree with you. But I think u missed my point, which was that even if you want to do so you'll get basically the same product IMO. The only other option is a device that'll look like a single battery splinter with a mod built in, or something even bigger than that.

My TM2 arrives today! Super stoked. Been using Dynavaps for the last 4 months or so since I stopped combusting. Going on a motorcycle trip with the guys this coming weekend, so I fear there will be some joints in my future. Maybe this TM2 is enough to convert everyone from combusting.

Take a rolled joint and the TM. Set the TM standard CU to the suitable depth (long stem) so the joint can be fully emptied into the stem. Adjust as needed, not a tight pack but firm enough to stay in the stem. Set the TM to session and seven and pass it to your friends like the key to Heaven.

Friends may cough but minds will change.

Sounds like a solid plan. I was going to go in with a dosing capsule holding a lot less material than a joint to prove a different point. You may be right though. Might have to vape the joint, lol.
