The post is way back and it was made by me . I can fish it if you like ,but here is a print of an insta conversation.

TinyMight / TM 2
If you're asking about how many cycles they'll last it should be 100s with proper care. The capacity will diminish as they age and eventually you'll get frustrated with them and buy new. Thank you!fuckcombustion.com
Thank you guys ! So it's sure I did read it and forgot... sorry@Djsleepy confirmed that too...
Sure ! Thanks for the excuseMust've been distracted by Jimi hitting the TM
On my TM the TM2 battery cap just makes contact with the battery after half a turn and i can go a bit more than a 1/4 turn more without much force then it's locked. Same feeling than with the OG that doesn't sits flush with the rest of the unit with less turn so probably less secure. The TM2 battery cap will fit the OG unit if you file the nub on the underside down to match the height of the nub on the OG battery cap (only about 1mm would be needed). The only concern if it’s not filed down is it ‘could’ compress the negative terminal spring more than it’s intended.
The board allowing calibration and LED stealth mode was implemented around late January 2020. My TM from Nov 2019 was in RMA at that time and the maker told me he was waiting for the new boards to update my unit, that I got back early February 2020.the only version I would be concerned to get would be the very first one that didn't have battery polarity protection or calibration function. My model from may 20 has had those fixes. The latest version will have a serial number.
In short
OG TM - No temp calibration , No colorful leds
1.5 TM - Temp calibration , Colorful leds, better reliability
My OG TM has calibration and only red LED except in calibration mode.Except there are ones in between that have temp calibration and colorful LEDs... Does not need to be a 1.5, what cheebs said
For me 1.5 TM would essentially be - new German board, better fit and finish, serial number ?
Noted ! Thank you !Here it is direct from TM on why not to swap battery lids
Hi, the battery lid doesn't usually sit correctly on most og units as the TM2 wooden body a bit taller and that's why the new lid also comes deeper inside to make contact with the battery. In og model the TM2 lid tries usually push the battery deeper than necessary when fully screwed in, and flatten the spring of battery. And also in the og model lid the shape is designed to mechanically lower the chances of wrongly oriented battery form making a contact with it, the Tm2 lid won't offer this protection.
