Hey, without sounding argumentative, you've mentioned both the analog aspect and how accurate you think the temps are, can you explain what you mean? I have no issue with it being analog, but a small dial with a large slot against small lines, I find anything but accurate. I don't have an issue with it, but haven't followed.
I do wish it had hard stops at the full numbers, I'd love to be able to turn it and count clicks or at least know it's on "6".
But I still only put it down for my MV
*Edit - again, not to sound argumentive, but those screens don't really use up any more of your battery than the flashing led in the TM. They both use up battery, but in respect to the heater, it's insignificant.
The analog temp control does not guess at a temperature to tell me like most digital displays that purport to tell you an accurate temperature, when in fact it's just basically an educated guess.
Instead, Tiny Might gives you a level 1 to 10 range. What is accurate is the distinction between each level.
For example, level 6 versus level 7 has a proportional taste difference from say level 5 to level 6 or from level 7 to level 8.
And temperature change is instant. You can put the dial at level 10 and take a nice rip. Immediately lower to level 6, and that rip will taste like level 6 not level 10.
So Tiny Might does not state the temperature you're vaping at, but what it does really well is have accurate and incrimental control of the temperature you're vaping at via the analog dial.
You dont know the actual temperature (just like most digital displays), but level 6 is always level 6 and each level higher is a proportional increase in cloud size and I would say extraction. Flavor also diminishes predictability.
That's what i mean by accurate temperature control....
Edit: I think some people like knowing temps, amounts, and numbers, etc., whether it's cooking, brewing beer, or vaping.
Others like me, don't really use a thermometer when cooking or brewing beer, rarely measure stuff, and just eyeball it
or taste it in the case of vaporizing. I can tell you the rough temperature of weed I vape. I dont need a thermometer. What I need is control over adjusting that temperature/flavor/cloud size.
Tiny Might has great temperature control in regards to adjusting flavor/cloud size/extraction up or down.
Edit #2: A wet cooling unit, say right after cleaning with hot water, makes a really nice steam hit or ten, if you dont let dry all the way before use... pretty damn nice.
Edit #3: The other thing I might not have emphasized enough is how quick and easy the analog dial is to use. No fiddling with buttons or memorizing sequences like the MV1.
I agree that being able to
feel each level and half level as you turn the dial would be an improvement. But, that's me nitpicking a little bit, version 2 needs something to improve?! Lol
Edit #4: I'm really medicated and it's a predictably great experience every night with this thing.
