Tempest "beta kit?" I have one coming. I didn't know they were "betas!" 😂 I also have a TA 4 coming from Vgoodies. Wow! Just like me!I decided to go "all torch" after being "no torch" for anlmost12 years. Started with a dynavap for 3 days before seeing the vestratto. Now the Vas is out of control. Got a thermocore oven too. What stem are you using on the Phatpiggie? I landed on a Simrell but I'm not sure if I made the right decision. We'll see. Cheers!

I thought I was talking to you, but given this response I'm having regrets...🙄

This is for the thermal accumulator, I think there is a thread for the Tempest :)

both threads are titled similar so easy mistake to make :)

Oh I get it! It was sarcasm because I failed to hit the reply and you couldn't just explain that to me. You're a clever fella!

Read my entire message "what are you using on the Phatpiggie" maybe not get sarcastic when someone is just asking questions. Phatpiggie makes the Thermal Accumulator last time I checked

It wasn't a mistake. I have both coming

If you are asking about which stem to use, the TA produces quite a lot of heat, so the stem has to be quite thick. Being in metal, I don’t really know if the simrell will take multiple heating cycles, for example. As you say, have a try, it’s the best way to know. I personally use a wooden PP stem, wood does a good job :)

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be disrespectful. I was just confused by your writing.

Yeah I got this https://simrellcollection.com/produ...lassic-dynavap-tip-cap?variant=48765890199765. Guy from Simrell said it would do the trick. I'll let folks know. :)

I'm using the TA3 on a cocobalo omni xl stem and its warm on back to backers but not hot. I dont have the metal ring, but the carb is better located on the stem you got. Mine is too close to the tip so i blocked it with an x ring.

I can hit an Anvil without anything but the cooling unit if I have to but it's not optimal. That's really the only device I have any experience with. The thing that started all this! I'll be using my stuff through water mostly but I'm just searching for that perfect unicorn hit. Im sure I'll regret a lotta purchases so I'm hoping becoming less of a lurker on here will keep me from a few bad decisions going forward. Thanks!

I use a simrell wooden vortex and it's ok. It does get warm towards the end or multiple uses. Also have a glass wpa, I prefer the simrell for use with glass for the carb and I'm a sucker for thuya burl and just really liked the way my set up looks.

Oh nice. It's coming today (The Simrell) I need to figure out how it all goes together! Thanks!

There isn't much to how it goes together. I'm not sure if your referring to the simrell stem or the TA but both are pretty simple to figure out in my opinion. And if you don't know your bowl is adjustable on the TA, there is a little spacer under the screen and this can be moved around to make the bowl larger or smaller kinda like dynas but it's infinitely adjustable instead of having the set spots in Dynas.

Just pulled it out to look at it. I only have experience with the Anvil. This one definitely has more convection from what I can see. Can you pull that screen out without bending it terribly?

Thank you all for the continued support, it's still blows me away.
No sooner have I restocked @VGOODIEZ and they are sold out.

As many of you are aware the TA4 have been stocked this time around.
Please be mindful the top section is a left hand thread and only needs to be finger tight.
The small 2 pin tool does not need much force to open them up.
A short sharp turn releases the thread.

Lefty tighty, righty loosey.

I have some videos and shorts on my YouTube channel.

If you use the MagSink to decap keep an eye on the top section.
Before release I spent a good few months using the Easiload and you just need to keep an eye on the top.
It's left hand threaded so when you decap a hot heater the threads tighten rather than unwind.
This is to ensure no one ends up chasing hot balls, out of context anyone?

Quick look at something new for the 4.;)

I'll take the 5th on the ongoing efforts to bring another product to market.

Have a great weekend everyone.

The TA4 is my first butane vape and I absolutely love it. Trying to figure out what I prefer for the pearls - have sic, zirc, ruby, and default boro.

So far using a Simrell xl stem and loving it, though eventually I want a wooden Sherlock/pipe.

Using it with the wand is okay, curious if people have better experiences with other IHs, seems like the flare is recommended but currently unavailable.

Camouflet Inductor. I think it's still on special, buy one get two of their vapes with it free. If you've yet to travel the IH path, consider starting and ending there. ; )

I’ve been considering the bundle for the last day or so, just don’t know what creations to get with it. Leaning towards zooter and convector xl but the banger also looks awesome. Only other reason I haven’t pulled the trigger yet is portability, but if it’s that good I may just to grab it now.

Not very portable but a great unit to build around since it can handle most IH-able vapes. That ecosystem covers a lot of ground and the quick heatup and cooldown makes them perfect for quick hits or sessions. The support is fantastic too.

I have the Zooter and Xl, along with the Convectors & Injector. I have not tried the Zooter yet but the others are really good. The XL is probably the best and the injector the most useful in the sense that it can replicate a ballvape hit and be cool again in a couple/few minutes. The Convectors are really nice for lighter loads, quicker hits, etc.

I'm not sure if anyone else has changed their TA to having rubies, so the heat up advice I'm going to guess will be a bit different than the default setup.
I use a TA and also a verdavap1.5 with sic and zirconium balls. 50/50 the sic balls are placed at the top towards where you heat and the zirconium balls at the bottom, just above the bowl. the result is really delicious, I tried many combinations and this is for me the best with the best balance. (I also do this in the ZXL phase3 it's even better)
