Every thing I buy in a month just went UP!
Not sure i will be able to swallow the tariff from the Orange Clown.
Will the parts(V2 head) be tariff free down the road when ordered from UK?
Looking forward to some V2 porn.
Cheers

I’m guessing the lack of pictures or videos is why people drift into other topics.

I think even with lots of pictures and videos, we'd still be talking about the tariffs. I assume there's a lot of American customers and 145% markup is INSANE!!! Never been a victim to any sort of robbery like that in my life before.

Although I have a hopeful feeling it won't last, given enough backlash. So maybe, with enough unification and luck, they'll start to reverse that % back down to Earth within the next few weeks/months. And if that's the case, maybe it would be possible for Mad Heaters to hold our shipments for a bit to see where things are going, instead of cancelling orders or shipping during the peak of the tariffs, assuming it's still up in the triple digits, when they ship out. Just my 2 cents.

Seems an unreasonably large ask of a single person operation. Have not decided on whether to dispose of of my V1 post V2 arrival, but do the tariffs apply to personal shipments; i.e. a personal sale from CA->US, although I'm not really wanting to deal with international post to the US right now.

Another available online recommended wall powered IH for the tempest? (vhb, koilboi not selling more)
Just a few desktop ih on the market. I would say the inductor (better with the v2), the vhb (rarely on stock), and any IH on etsy made for the armored/hyperdyn (maybe).
Another option is to make one by yourself

Tempest w/ glass stem
Revolve Gen2
Wand
Nwtwn Deco Bubbler

I run the tempest with open airflow on the head. For the stem, I do closed airflow, direct tube w/ cooling unit. Gives me OHE and a joint like resistance where all the air comes in through the heat at the end.

Man even the packaging is getting me excited, I like the cutout to see the device colour, nice touch!
The hard carton seems much thicker than the packaging on the Revolve was which I still to this day use - great packaging, very sturdy and has a reliable cap. Keeps my backup Tempvolve safe and ready to rip.

TEMPEST HYPE TRAIN IS WARMING UUUUP

edit: scanned the QR code and it leads to the Tempest V2 manual, but it doesn't seem ready yet :p

Believe me I'm happy to see your vision and ingenuity come to fruition and I was also proud to take part in the first batch of the pre-release Tempest orders in October of 2023, but I would be lying if I said I'm happy to see the second iteration of the Tempest I ordered is apparently completely sourced, manufactured, assembled and packaged in China. Hard for me to believe that this couldn't have been done within the UK or EU itself and support those manufactures and economies instead of China. If the answer is strictly cost related then I admit I prefer support to companies like Simrell that charge a bit more but source and manufacture what they make in the country that they actually exist in. But hey, that's just me.

Promoting free market while imposing tariff increase, talk about national manufacturing while relying on the supply chain(China) that they criticises well that is USA, Hippocrise and ego.
