Love that scene!“Impressive. Very nice. Let's see Brenyo’s device.”
Brenyo pulls a Tempest from an inside coat pocket and holds it up for their inspection: "BRENYO, MAD HEATERS, MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS." Bateman swallows, speechless. The sound in the room dies down and all we hear is a faint heartbeat as Bateman stares at that magnificent device.
“Look at that subtle off-green coloring. The tasteful thickness of that induction sleeve. Oh my God, it even has a watermark...”
His hand shaking, Bateman lifts up the Tempest and hits it.
I hope the tariffs are paused or resolved by the end of May so I can begin shipping. If not, we’ll either delay further or I’ll start issuing refunds.
I can't imagine that the US tariffs would effect Brenyo's ability to ship to locations on your side of the pond. It might even increase the fluidity of movement over there with more ships available that might have been heading here. The insanity is all on this side of the pond. Well, not exclusively, but the tariff insanity is pretty much just American (Trump) stupidity. The good news for everyone else in this thread is that MadHeaters is a British company and not an American one.Does this mean EU has to wait for at least end of may before any shipping might happen because US tariffs?
I normally don't like branding. But I loved the branding on the early Tempest models. Reminiscent of etched writing on the back of good quality automatic watches. It didn't convey a sense of cheapness. Quite the opposite.Love that scene!
But on a serious note, I really love the branding and think it’s a bigger deal than some might realize.
Many people were disappointed by the lack of branding on the v1 after seeing it on earlier prototypes.
Without any branding, it looks like a no-name product, so having this tasteful logo is very important to me (and probably to Brenyo, too, as it helps make his brand more recognizable).
The green indicator is especially useful, since the silver-on-silver design made it very hard to see inside the wand.
It might've sounded corny to some, but to me those are big.
This is all i can comment on for now besides the look which i dig. I'm sure it will feel mesmerizing to hold in the hand with all those ridges, but since those videos are from his contact in China—I’m assuming shipping is already underway or imminent.
Soon i can judge performance, heat retention, ease of use and cooling!

The tariff wouldn’t be that much seeing as how it’s 10% at the moment. Also when is de minimis due to expire?I can't imagine that the US tariffs would effect Brenyo's ability to ship to locations on your side of the pond. I'll pay sont cancelIt’s coming in June, not ready yet to be shown unfortunately.

Even though I have somewhat sorted my method without having the visual indicator installed. I still hope I can get the update kit so my V1 head is a full unit. I hope this tariff crap doesnt prevent completing that.I can't imagine that the US tariffs would effect Brenyo's ability to ship to locations on your side of the pond. This is upsetting news! I preordered the TI in the USA and I’d really love to get it. How does it work? Are they shipped from China or UK?It’s coming in June, not ready yet to be shown unfortunately.

May 2nd for China and Hong Kong. The "Fact Sheet" reads like de minimis exemptions might still be in place for every other country? The tariff wouldn’t be that much seeing as how it’s 10% at the moment. Also when is de minimis due to expire?
They will ship from the UK, but the country of origin is what matters and it's made in China. Currently via USPS, it’s a flat rate of $100 per parcel now and $200 after June 1st.May 2nd for China and Hong Kong. The "Fact Sheet" reads like de minimis exemptions might still be in place for every other country?
If these ship direct from China to the U.S. we're screwed. If they go to the UK first and undergo "substantial change" or whatever the term is then they'd be subjected to 10% IF de minimis exemptions are no longer in place -- at least, that's how I'm reading this![]()
