The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Monk Debate

The monks do be debatin’
This could easily compete outside of the artisan space and with the likes of Dynavap, Anvil, and BFG. It has the level of fit, finish, and functionality one expects from a mass market vape. Nothing wrong with the more slimmed down and manual TA, but this looks to be on another level with features I would want from companies like Dynavap, Vestratto, and BFG.

It is nice to see a portable butane ballvape with temperature indicator (the visual one is a mindfuck), without being a pillbox and according to the evolution of butane vaporizers!
You can appreciate how pampered and meticulous the development of this vape is and the qualities they want to achieve
IMHO after the release of the anvil and the fusion, it became basic to have things like air regulation in this kind of device

A must buy, a suitable sacrifice 🍐🦄

Wow !
Do we have a timeline/ price estimation and Eu reseller ?
( Take my money but not all of it please)
Never bought an anvil because I think the price is crazy for what it is. I like this one way better though... hope it's cheaper.
Hope this won't land early/mid July when I leave for a month...

We now seem to have 3 threads with info about this vape.

This one, the thermal accumulator thread, and the mad heaters thread.

I would have thought a new thread is best?

Should be ready in 3-6 months and I'm sure there will be Eu resellers.

Price individually will be around £119 and kits with stem between £199 - £249 depending on the sleeve.
I'm trying to keep the price as low as possible, but it's very expensive to make unfortunately due to the number of titanium parts with complicated machining.

I just wonder about something as I wouldn't be able to afford both this and a TA if it comes back : the design being different more like a fusion or anvil : will this be less convection than the the TA where you heat just the part where the balls are ?

Is it gonna be drop based like the TA, or will it be a little easier to get ahold of one of these when they're ready?

Just watched the video, again something that looks really cool, a great evolution from the TA. Definitely interested in the combo with the stem.

It doesn't seem to compatible with the TA, which PP mentioned earlier wrt its successor. Hopefully the TA owners will get a opportunity to upgrade discounted as was also mentioned previously :D

The video says it's convection heavy.

I'm still not sure that this is a new TA iteration. I mean, it looks great and I certainly want/will buy one, but it looks very different from the legacy TA we have and I still hope that @phattpiggie will come up with a new drop anyway.
I personally see the Tempest as another vape, not as a TA2.

Anyway, Mike, if you're reading this, I love you! My wife and kids will understand. :D
